“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier“

“My first visit at De Chou via Google Map search. De Chou is an authentic Korean restaurant in Scarborough, there are many options on the menu from the traditional Korean dishes to fried chicken. We ordered the Combo CA1 (Japchae appetizer, Pork Bone Soup, and a Veggie Bibimbap) and an extra beef Bulgogi. The food tastes good especially the beef Bulgogi. Their prices are on the higher side compared to similar Korean restaurant. But overall it was a positive dining experiences.“

“I really don't regret it. Of all the Korean restaurants I've been to, the food service and visuals were all the best!! I was impressed after taking a bite. I think I will have a fun trip thanks to Deokman :) May you prosper~!!
I especially recommend squid fried rice to those who like spicy food.!!“

“The gamjatang and the kimchi had a unique take, I liked it alot. I tend to like the saltier side, which it was. The spiciness was on point and noted heavy black pepper which was unique.
The kimchi I couldn't stop eating...so good“

“I tried the viral soy marinated raw crab and it was delicious. Very sweet and savoury with a nice raw texture to it. All the dishes we had were great. The gamja tang was ok - wasn't wow, kind of average I guess. The service was amazing though. We came for a late lunch, early dinner and the place was empty. Will definitely come back to give it another shot soon.“

“It was good Korean comfort food. Our meals came with your own side dishes. Gukbap was perfect for a snowy day. Best eaten with the rice thrown into it. The steak bibimbap had generous serving of steak. Not your usual bibimbap with a lot of veggies. Service was amicable but not the friendliest.“
“I had the shrimp fried rice here and it was sooo good😋😋 The portion was huge for the price!! I honestly couldn’t believe it😱 The kimchi that comes with it was great too. How is this even real? Definitely coming back to try other dishes next time!!“

“If you’re craving that nostalgic Seoul-meets-Beijing flavour, The Great Wall on Steeles just west of Yonge, absolutely delivers. Every dish here tastes like it came straight out of a classic Korean drama dinner scene — bold, savoury, and perfectly balanced.
The Jajangmyeon is rich and smoky with just the right touch of sweetness, and the Jjamppong packs that signature spicy seafood kick that wakes up your senses. Portion sizes? Generous. Service? Warm and no-nonsense — exactly how it should be.
It’s the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t need to. One visit and you’ll understand why regulars keep coming back. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, The Great Wall is an instant mood-booster and easily one of the best Korean-Chinese spots in the GTA.“

“Not my first time here and there's a reason I come back.
Underrated place for good 짜장면 (jjajangmyun - Black Bean Noodles) and 짬뽕 (jjamppong - Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
It's in a food court, so during busier times, it might be harder to find a table, but didn't have any issues today.
Ordering is easy, but choosing what to order is the difficult part.
Once you have ordered, you get a pager which notifies you when your food is ready. You can let them know if you would like to dine-in or takeout. Because I also ordered the combo which included 탕수육 (Sweet & Sour Pork), I asked for my order in takeout containers since I knew I wouldn't finish everything. My meal still came out on a tray so I could eat at a table with my friends.
After eating, you just return your tray to the tray cart labelled with the restaurants's name on it.
Portion sizes are fair and priced appropriately. Food is also very tasty, even better than some restaurants nearby.
The staff are friendly and helpful as well.“

“The owner is real cool. I love the Padak there. It is the best in town as far I know. Worth going. Enough food for what you pay for! Love it! Some cute waiters too. Plus coffee is available when you are done your meal.“

“Potions are huge; a small dish size is already enough for 3-4 people. Prices are very affordable considering the portion it serves (Overall grade: B+).
Food:
1. The sweet & sour pork is too dry and hard (Grade: D)
2. The Fooringi/deep-fried chicken is very tasty. The skins are crispy like chips, and it sounds “chap” in every bite. I like it and will definitely come back for it (Grade: A+)
3. The jjajangmyeon (noodles) is also very tasty (Grade: A)“

“Great family dinner at Kobi! They’re doing a takeout menu during the current lockdown, too, if you want some Korean BBQ meat packages.“

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem absolutely by random luck. Originally I was looking a that old school burger place near by, and saw this come up as nearby! And I am super happy to find this.
The place is in a warehouse area. Mainly catering take out or probably delivery. Almost wanna call it a hole-in-a-wall place. Rather hard to find. But its worth looking for it!
The fried chicken is Soooooooo juicy! The veggie topic is fresh. The sauce actually goes surprisingly well with the poutine!
So we order 2 sandwiches, a chicken poutine and a medium order of wings . And we totally have food coma half way through! The portion is very genoirous! We still have stuff left for dinner!
Also the staff is super nice and helpful!
Definitely gonna repeat“
