“Great food, service, and atmosphere.“

“That fried chicken sandwich is currently sitting as my #1 in Toronto, and I've eaten a lot. The fillings, the sauce, the bread, all so good. If you're in the area and you need a lunch, call ahead for a sandwich, will not regret. It is also massive! Their fried chicken is really crispy. It's on my top 5 list for crispiest chicken in the city. Chicken is fresh, oil is fresh. I like that they don't put the sauce on your chicken, that way it won't get soggy on your way home and when you reheat, the sauce won't burn. Their spicy yangnyeom was good, but not the best in town. Their soy garlic was only ok, a bit too runny. Their radishes were also only ok. Their kimchi fries were good, but Banh Mi Boys ironically does that better. But without a doubt, I'm going back for that fried chicken sandwich.

“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier“

“This was actually the first place where I tried Korean marinated raw crab in Toronto, and it has remained one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving it. I've also recommended it to quite a few friends over the years.

The marinated raw crab is definitely the reason I keep coming back. It's flavorful and especially delicious when eaten with rice.“

“Very authentic Korean restaurant. You can taste the difference between these dishes that uses good quality species and ingredients and other similar stores that don’t put the same effort in. The kimchi was so flavourful and delicious. The pork one soup I had had lots of protein and intense flavour. The dishes were a bit spicy for me but I have a very low tolerance.“

“Great spot for quick and tasty Korean food. I tried the cheese and beef sausage corn dogs, potatoe croquette, army stew, shrimp fried rice, and mini kimbap — everything was flavorful and came out fresh. The corn dogs were crispy and really good, and the kimbap was a nice light option. Portion sizes were decent and the menu has a good variety if you’re craving Korean street food. Service was pretty fast even when it was busy. Would definitely come back to try more items.“

Grilled mackerel was large and very meaty and had crispy skin. Not significantly fishy, but a lemon was provided.

As good as some of the mackerel rice in Japan.

Soon tofu was also pretty good comparing to BCD around Yonge and Finch. Side dishes were ok. The highlight was definitely the main.“

“I saw this place promoted a lot on Instagram, which actually made me skeptical about coming here. Too many influencers gassing up garbage these days. But I was so pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Service was excellent and super attentive. The food was authentic and well-flavoured. I love that they have items you wouldn’t usually find at other AYCES either - like raw marinated crab and soondae. Drinks, appetizers, banchan, and desserts are all self-serve. They also decreased their price to $39.99 on weekdays (not sure about weekends). They accept credit card, and there isn’t an automatic service charge either. This place truly deserves more love. “Not my first time here and there's a reason I come back.
Underrated place for good 짜장면 (jjajangmyun - Black Bean Noodles) and 짬뽕 (jjamppong - Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup).
It's in a food court, so during busier times, it might be harder to find a table, but didn't have any issues today.

Ordering is easy, but choosing what to order is the difficult part.
Once you have ordered, you get a pager which notifies you when your food is ready. You can let them know if you would like to dine-in or takeout. Because I also ordered the combo which included 탕수육 (Sweet & Sour Pork), I asked for my order in takeout containers since I knew I wouldn't finish everything. My meal still came out on a tray so I could eat at a table with my friends.

After eating, you just return your tray to the tray cart labelled with the restaurants's name on it.

Portion sizes are fair and priced appropriately. Food is also very tasty, even better than some restaurants nearby.

“The owner is real cool. I love the Padak there. It is the best in town as far I know. Worth going. Enough food for what you pay for! Love it! Some cute waiters too. Plus coffee is available when you are done your meal.“

The black bean sauce was super yummy and flavourful and it came with a hefty portion of noodles too. The jjamppong was very generous with the seafood and spiciness was just right. The tangsuyuk was crispy with the right amount of sweet and sourness. The food came very quickly and the service was great! I will definitely be coming back again!“
