The owner is real cool. I love the Padak there. It is the best in town as far I know. Worth going. Enough food for what you pay for! Love it! Some cute waiters too. Plus coffee is available when you are done your meal.
Chicken is always great, waitress never comes to check on you after food gets there though.
2018: Always delicious, especially the garlic soy flavour and the only Korean fried chicken place that I’ve seen serve Wine Soju.
2026 update: Went back recently after so many years and the food still hits. Prices are up but the quality is still very high. Glad to see one of the better original Korean fried chicken spots surviving despite so much more competition now

Home of Hot Taste is a restaurant serving excellent Korean-style chicken and other dishes. The food is absolutely amazing, tasty, very filling, and flavourful with bold seasoning. The spice used is both spicy and full of flavour. Many items are crispy, juicy, and satisfying. Favourite dishes include the spicy chicken feet, described as super soft and perfectly spicy, the green onion chicken, the creamy chili mayo chicken, the snow cheese chicken, the blazing fire chicken with cheese, and the soy garlic and original chicken. The corn cheese side is particularly liked. Other recommended items are the kimchi fried rice, teokbokki (spicy rice cake), beef bulgogi, and a mixed fried platter. Sides are tasty and decently sized for sharing.
It is a great spot to share food communally with friends. The service is quick, friendly, patient, accommodating, and efficient. Portions are generous for the price, such as the Thursday wings special. The lime highball cocktail is sweet and refreshing, pairing well with the food. It is a perfect quick stop for a comforting meal with a kick, and customers would definitely come back.
