“The king size dumplings are super tasty and the kimichi tastes super fresh. Highly recommend in term of the quality of the food and the dumplings are about $1-2 dollars cheaper than the other one. It tastes not as salty than the others nearby but its not as big (that has terrible customer service) that sells the same thing. Update: just went into the store in person to check out the place today. The server who greeted me had NO customer service. After I ordered she kicked me out of the store to stand in the cold for 10 mins to wait for the food...and there was only her and the cook and no other customer in the store. I have also ordered their homemade kimichi as a side and it is such a small bowl but more expensive than the other korean restaurant (theirs small kimichi is $3 bucks) nearby who served similar food....hmmmmmm worth to give it a try but the customer service will keep me from going into the store for a bit. Just order take out its easier“

The kimchi was so flavourful and delicious. The pork one soup I had had lots of protein and intense flavour. The dishes were a bit spicy for me but I have a very low tolerance.“

“During the Super Bowl we got pizza from the local PN and used the app. We were able to pre order everything and make some customized choices plus set up a time for pickup. The only thing the app lacked was the ability to include special instructions such as asking not to cut the pizza. You do have to phone in for that . They did the pizzas as per order and were ready on time for pickup. The app also takes the order and puts it together in a way that maximizes the discounts. The app is not perfect but pretty respectable.
Of course the only issue is price which seems to be constantly going up and the size which seems to be shrinking. The mediums are pathetically small and some of the toppings are paper thin.
For a hassle free superbowl it’s acceptable but not for a regular thing. Just not great value.“

The salmon roses are a must every time, so good! We also order takeout from here pretty often and it’s always just as great. I love that they have items you wouldn’t usually find at other AYCES either - like raw marinated crab and soondae. Drinks, appetizers, banchan, and desserts are all self-serve. They also decreased their price to $39.99 on weekdays (not sure about weekends). They accept credit card, and there isn’t an automatic service charge either. This place truly deserves more love. “This is our absolute “go to” restaurant for many years now. Top notch every time, it really is an amazing undiscovered gem! “My family and I used to eat at the Metro location very frequently, probably 10 years ago, but since then I became gluten intolerant (not celiac) and we haven’t been back since. For some reason this place popped into my mind today, and I looked at their menu and knew I could at least eat a few things there (minus the noodles and dumplings), and was content with my options so we tried it today, and I was so pleased that everything tasted very similar to how I remembered it to be 10 years ago!

We ordered the shredded cucumber & pork w/starch sheets (could use a bit more meat), the sliced pork belly w/garlic soy sauce (I think it used to have more cilantro on top), the sauced beef slices (same sauce & garlic as the pork belly, but no cilantro on top), vegetable & sliced pork noodle soup (we love their thick and chewy noodles, but it used to have more tomatoes and cucumbers), and the pork wonton (which comes in a delicious clear broth with little tiny shrimps and seaweed…there used to be a lot more seaweed, but the soup still tasted the same as 10 years ago).

We will definitely be going back to this spot to try some other more gluten friendly dishes like their vermicelli’s and other cold dishes. We also will check out the Metro location as well since it’s more convenient for us, but the Metro location is much smaller.“

“This location is amazing, food does take a while to come out since there are always a lot people between 11:40 and 12:40 since it’s since it’s during school lunch hours. Service can be quicker and i would love not to get ignored sometimes. But overall, I love this establishment.“
