“Love Ramona’s. Been going to the one on Bayview at Laureleaf for years. Today, my wife and I visited the one in hillcrest mall for a romantic brunch to start off a beautiful weekend. I had, appropriately, Dad’s breakfast. It was great. She had…well I can’t remember but she liked it. Service is always cheerful and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable. The price is reasonable.“

“This is one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond Hill. I’ve been here like 20 times and counting. It’s always super busy during mealtimes so I would recommend coming early or booking ahead. The side dishes are great and plentiful. Whenever I come with my family we always order the gamjatang, naengmyeon, and the corn cheese :)“

“I decided to try a spicy bún bò instead of pho for my first time visit here, and it was the perfect choice for a warm meal after a long day of shopping. The broth was rich and flavorful, and what I really liked was how the bowl stayed hot until I finished, it made me feel even more delicious.
My friends also enjoyed the cơm tấm. The grilled meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the nước mắm sauce made the dish especially delicious. The portions are quite generous, one person may not be able to finish a full plate, so taking leftovers home is definitely welcome.
One downside is that the smell from inside the restaurant tends to stick to your clothes after you leave. Also, I noticed a bit of an MSG taste, which made me slightly uncomfortable since I am sensitive to it, my friends did not have any issues thought.“

“Really liked Unomi Sushi.

The little private booths are a great idea. They make the meal feel cozy and relaxed, especially if you want a bit of privacy. There’s also a big open area in the middle with lots of seating, so there’s plenty of room if you prefer that.

Service was surprisingly quick, and everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. The sushi and rolls came out fast and were really well prepared.

Nothing complicated, just fresh sushi, quick service, and a really comfortable place to sit and enjoy a meal. We’ll definitely be back.“

Especially the soup filled dumplings (Siu Long Bao) it is better than the other one at First Markham Place. “A total hidden gem! Got two chirashi dons and two soups for just $22.60 (tax included). At that price, I was expecting lower quality, but the sashimi was surprisingly fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety. The tamago was an unexpected highlight, super smooth, rich, and perfectly sweet. I just hope they do more marketing or promotions in the future to showcase what they specialize at, given so many choices on their menu.“

Dining space are a bit tight so peeps got to dine more cozy with nearby patrons.

Good portion of side dishes and reasonable price. Many bigger tables order family style Korean BBQ.

We have 3 people so we ordered the ginseng chicken and pork bone soup to share and still have to bring leftover home.

Both ginseng chicken and pork bone falls off the bones. Broth flavourful.

NOTE: If you have difficulty walking, then this mall and the restaurant maybe a problem coz they don’t have washroom within each restaurant but instead, you have to walk out of each restaurant to use the public washroom facility.“
