“Waitress was excellent and food was good but the Tuscan Rib Eye was not worth it. Meat was undercooked and tough to eat. Restaurant appears very busy nowadays resulting in food taking much longer to arrive. 2 hrs to finish when it used to take just over an hour.“

“Absolutely delicious sweet and savory treats. I have so many food allergies but I can safely eat the food from this bakery. i appreciate the plant based options too. I love the oat fudge bars, vanilla cakes/cupcakes, chocolate cakes/cupcakes, custom cakes, both types of quiche, the scones, brownies, spiced chocolate bar, lattes, drip coffee, cookies...geeze I guess I go there a lot. I haven't even tried everything in the bakery yet. It is a wonderful for breakfast, midday treat and dessert after dinner. I stock up on Sunday to have enough to last me until Thursday morning when the bakery reopens for the week. I am having a very hard time sticking to just one item a day. It is great for school lunch treats because it is a nut free bakery. This is important for school staff and students.“

“At first glance, the store looked pretty empty, but the place looks nice, we were nicely greeted by the employee pretty fast compared to the other store I've been to, which I also think is the only one in the store. My friend ordered curly fries, they came out pretty nice, they were hot and good. When we left, the server made sure that we were happy with our order, asked us and doubled checked if we wanted a bag for it and ketchup.“

You talk about the food quality, but with the work pressure and busyness of this restaurant, it will be very good if we can understand their employees.“

“The store is clean and tidy, with indoor seating, offering vegetarian options like burgers, pizza, and even vegan chicken nuggets. The texture is great and the sauces are flavorful.

However, it seems they are understaffed — with the same staff handling both the counter and kitchen prep, customers end up having to wait.

I met your employee, Sepideh, at the mall shop. She is an attractive lady, and I found her to be very pleasant as well. I do have a “sweet tooth” and a particular fondness for vanilla ice cream. As I recall, there is an ice cream shop adjacent to or near the entrance where there is a Starbucks; however, I would go to the little booth where Sepideh worked instead because it felt more personal, and she would always give healthy tips while serving.

Although I like ice cream, I don’t want to feel like I’m just another number in the queue. Sepideh makes her customers feel appreciated, and that’s what I liked about her service.

I have been a businessman for most of my life and have employed hundreds of people, so I may be a bit biased in recognizing the value of her service from an employer’s perspective.

The restaurant has many branches, and you can get free refills of the steamed egg, corn, and side dishes in the small bowls (as long as the barbecue you ordered is still being served). The food tastes incredible, and the service is great too—though the tip is a bit on the high side, haha. It would be even better if the prices were a little more wallet-friendly!“

There’s nothing like sitting in their café enjoying a fresh coffee and a pastry, while getting lost in good book or catching up with old friends. Indeed, Kome Shokudo is the local spot for your affordable Japanese comfort food. We revisited for the first time in several years and were still impressed by the food portions and menu offerings. The flavours are nothing to write home about but for about $15 or less you can get a giant bowl of teriyaki beef on rice (gyudon), various udon, tempura or pork/chicken katsu curry. Only the shrimp curry with rice is a bit skimpy in the number of shrimps for the large option.

It’s neat that the quick-serve comes to your table via a robot server. You can fill up on fresh water at the drink station. The only downside is the decor which has aged over the years of popular use and plenty of graffiti seemingly from students scribbled on the walls of the side tables.

Skip it or hit it? When you’re craving for a quick Japanese fix this is good meal option. It can get busy in here so just be prepared.“

Went for lunch today and it was a bit busier than I thought it would be for 1pm, which is great for the restaurant considering people are dining out less these days.

We were seated right away and menus provided at the same time.
There was a Lunch Special menu but we decided to order full portions from the regular menu.
We were able to order right away and our drinks and ice water were brought out.

Our food was brought out fairly quickly, all of it being hot.
Roti is a must order item! The noodles were also very tasty with the shrimp not being overcooked.
Fried chicken was crispy on the outside and nice and juicy inside.

Service was attentive with the servers checking on us every so often and clearing empty plates away.
When we were done eating, the server packed up our leftovers for us instead of just giving us containers.

You can pay by card or cash, but just be advised that they do not accept $100 bills.
