“Great, cozy place with generous portions of delicious Korean food. We tried the dynamite chicken (m), galbi and bulgogi and it came with 4 side dishes. The chicken was our favourite. The service was friendly and patient with us. We will come again!“
“The restaurant is located inside the Galleria Korean Grocery Store in Thornhill. They serve Chinese Korean staples like Jjajangmyun, Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk. These are dishes that are easy to find in the GTA but I find that only a few places can do them well. Mark this place as a legit contender for the best Jjajangmyun and Jjamppong. The price, portion size and taste are all on point. We ordered the Jjamppong and Jjajangmyun. The broth of my Jjamppong was spicy and full. The noodles used had the perfect consistency and thickness. The only critique I can offer is that I wish the Jjamppong had more seafood but for the price that they are charging, I can understand why they are offering the amount size. The Jjajangmyun was not on the sweeter side which I enjoyed. That made it a win for me.You need to order your food first, wait for your number to be called and pick up your food, cafeteria style. The eating area can be busy and loud. Seating are limited during busy time but you should be able to find a space. Make sure to return your tray back to the restaurant area as you need to clean up after yourself. There are plenty of parking but it gets chaotic if Galleria is busy. They do take credit cards.“
“As tourists we didn't realize the entire suburbs of Toronto virtually shut down for Good Friday. We were going from place to place looking for somewhere to have dinner. As we were about to give up and go back to the hotel and eat instant ramen, we stumbled upon this Beijing Sung and were so grateful to find they were actually open! Not only were they open but the black bean noodles (vegetarian) were the best we've had outside of Korea! They were willing to accommodate our late to-go order and thanks to them, our whole family was able to enjoy a delicious warm dinner on Good Friday. 감사합니다 Beijing Sung!“
“Food looked just like the menu, tasted not great, it was amazingly DELICIOUS. Really good service, food came fast & the waiters gave water every time our cups weren’t filled. Overall if you’re looking for a great affordable restaurant this is the place. Food, place, basically everything is amazing! Try this place I recommend that you try eating here. Not to mention the wait time to get a table is almost between 2-3 minutes (it quick). In conclusion, try this place it’s really amazing. :DParking: There are many of spots for parkingKid-friendliness: They have cups, spoons, & bowls that are directly for kids.“
“I recently came in for a weekday lunch with a friend and tried their set lunch for 2 (ssam-bap jungsik). The servers were very friendly and helpful with ordering and they made sure that banchan refill (limited to 2 times) was done promptly. The banchans were all were prepared; my friend who tried Korean food for the first time loved the eggplant side dish. I loved that they offered the soybean stews in individual earthen bowls. Their spicy and non-spicy pork bulgogi were also very well done with just the perfect amount of marinade. Accompanying veggies for wraps were also plentiful so we didn't have to ask for a refill. We also ordered steamed Korean dumplings which were packed with meat, tofu and veggies. This was so delicious! I don't normally order dumplings when I go out because it's usually the store bought ones that are steamed or friend but here, it was made in house and the quality was definitely there. I am looking forward to returning to try out more of their new menu items soon.“
