“Paik's Noodle is one of the most well-known Korean Chinese fusion restaurants in Korea. It got popular because of the tasty food with a cheaper price. It was pretty crowded but the restaurant was spacious and pleasant and the servers were very kind. I had the typical combo: Jajangmyeon, Champong, and Tangsooyuk. Tangsooyuk was as good as what I had in Korea. I think a lot of people will have different views on the taste of Champong but it was worth trying. The soup totally wad different from before and changed completely to smoky taste! I enjoyed this restaurant overall and would definitely come back.“

“I ordered Combo C and gimbap after reading the reviews, and honestly, the Jjambbong broth has got to be the best in Toronto. It’s a real hidden gem. The Jjambbong was so good that we started with soju and ended up mixing Somaek and having a blast.
​Funny thing is, we bought Jjajangmyeon, gimbap, and sweet & sour pork for our 3-year-old son, but he just kept eating that spicy Jjambbong instead lol. Even though it's a well k own gimbap spot, you can definitely taste authentic Chinese-Korean restaurant quality!“

“Generous portions and great gamjatang. Had a really good perilla taste. My favourite was their new dish which was the grilled mapo ppyeo gui. Serves 2-3 people. The meat was tender and had a nice grilled flavour. The sauce was sweet with a little bit of spice. You will need to order a side of rice for their shared dishes.“

“Cute Korean restaurant about 3-5 min walk from Finch Subway station. Tip: exit through the passenger pickup area of Finch station if you're walking, that's the closest exit to the restaurant. I came here specifically to try their Ganjang Gejang (raw blue crab marinated in soy sauce), it seems that they might be the only restaurant that serves this dish in Toronto, that I could find and know of. There is a very slight fishy smell when I sniffed it, which is expected since it's raw crab, but when I was eating it, I didn't find it fishy at all, it was really delicious. The crab roe was soft and rich, the meat was smooth and fresh, everything went really well with the rice. I can see why this dish is called a rice thief now. I was really tempted to order another bowl of rice but on account of my diet I stopped myself. I would definitely try this dish again. I also ordered the kimchi stew and my friend got a spicy beef soup. Although it was not as outstanding as the Ganjang Gejang, Both were delicious and portions were good. The side dishes were good as well. Not sure if there's free refills or not since we didn't ask for any. The service was good, it's a smaller shop, seems like it's family owned. People were doing multi jobs so if you wanted more tea or something you have to ask them, they do really try to check up you though and would walk around once in awhile to refill your tea and see how you're doing. Overall a good dining experience, I would come back to try their raw crab. However if I was just going out for Korean food then I may not specifically go out of my way to come here since although the other dishes were good, it's not super outstanding. Aside from indoor dining they also have outdoor dining, there's a big white tent outside, they provides pretty good shelter, there's also hanging lights out there, really cute set up. We dined inside though since it was windy.“

“The food we ordered was authentic Korean dishes & it tastes exactly authentic. Yukgaejang broth tastes better than many other ones I have tried. Spicy beef intestines soup, would recommend for hang over. Overall, everything was great especially the bun chun tasted exactly the way my grandma used to make it.“

“I cant peak enough about the food at this place. it's by far the best value for your money. Not only is the food delicious but the portions are very reasonable for the $ they ask. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich.. you'll never go anywhere else for chicken again. Their Kim Bap is really good option. Very fresh and very healthy, my wife lives off them!!“

“Absolutely delicious! I ordered the beef intestine hot pot and spicy stir-fried cow knee cartilage, and both were amazing.

The intestines were so clean and perfectly trimmed with just the right amount of fat. The portion was very generous, and the broth was incredibly clean-tasting while still packed with flavor. The thick noodles that came with it were also so good!

The server was incredibly kind and took the time to explain how to enjoy the hot pot, which made the experience even better.

The cow knee cartilage was so tender and flavorful—honestly one of my favorite dishes!

“I received stone rice cake (3 types) from a friend today. I found out why I asked what time the pickup would be when I placed my order. The rice cake was warm and delicious, as if it had been made and delivered on time. They beautifully engraved the words 'First Birthday' on the rice cake cake for free, and there were plenty of songpyeon and sorghum red bean rice cakes. “The quality was unbelievable considering it was a restaurant inside a supermarket. I ordered takeout because I was afraid there would be leftovers, but the packaging wasn't made of Styrofoam, so I just took it home and ate it. There are still a lot of Styrofoam containers, but the packaging was really good. The Jjamppong was just as delicious as it was at a specialty Chinese restaurant. Bibimbap is ordinary. The batter for sweet and sour pork is too hard. It looks perfect in the picture, but when you bite into it, it's so hard that the roof of your mouth cracks, and even when you open it after eating some seaweed from takeout, it's still hard. The sweet and sour pork sauce is very disappointing. I think it would be even better if you paid a little more attention to it. So, even though I used glutinous rice, the batter was not chewy and was rough. It seems like I mixed in too much glutinous rice rather than starch. Anyway, the meat was tender. If the sauce is good, it would be really great.“

“Usually order nene for takeout on uber eats for their bogo deal, decided to come into dine in, the bogo deal is worth it for me. Service is curious, almost non existent. The portion is decent but again, bang for your buck on Uber Eats in the comfort of your own home. The restaurant itself is pretty fast food vibes? The chicken is delicious as per usual, very tender and juicy.“

We ordered the pan-seared beef intestine, calamari, Korean Army Stew, and pork hock with salad. The beef intestine was cut tableside, which made the experience even more enjoyable, and the texture was excellent. The Army Stew was massive, packed with toppings, and perfect for sharing. The pork hock paired with the fresh salad was another highlight—the refreshing salad balanced the rich, tender pork beautifully. Every dish came in generous portions, making it a great place to dine with family or friends.

“Went in by chance because I was craving some salmon sashimi and it was a great pick! The staff were super kind and nice, even accommodating since I wanted salmon substitutes.

Place is quite cozy and small, I love the little booth rooms. I got take out so I couldn’t enjoy it unfortunately but it looks like it’d be a great lunch or dinner spot. Pricing is excellent too, nothing was too expensive.“

“I came with my daughter to this location where it’s a food court and there’s a bunch of small restaurants inside which I was pretty shocked because I always passed by this area and didn’t even realize this was here, but I knew I was coming for yummy BBQ I approached his storefront and seeing the reviews I think his name is Mr. Kim. He was very kind and welcoming and he was very funny. I ordered the short ribs dinner and it took about 15 to 20 minutes so me and my daughter were just sitting around waiting once it was done, He had called me over to tell me it was done.

it came with side dishes with it once I got home and opened my food, I realize how much food is actually in the box. It’s a good deal for $38 plus tax and the side dishes were very tasty as well.“

I stopped by today and I told them my daughter likes gimbap and they helped me with the freshest ones.
