We were charged holiday price for Easter Monday lunch, which came out to about $40 each after tax and tip.Food was pretty good overall. Our group really enjoyed the miso marinated kalbi short rib and ordered a lot of it. The kimchi here is pretty good, but the bibimbap isn't as good. Also don't love that you have to pick between soft serve or melona for dessert. Service was decent, the staff were pretty attentive about grill changes but not so much about removing empty dishes from our table.One thing we didn't love was we ordered chicken thighs and when it came, it was mixed in the same plate with other meats like beef and sausage. Just better in my opinion to separate them to reduce the risk of getting sick.“

So give them a try!--Used to be amazing, authentic Szechuan food in a casual and friendly environment. However, in the last year, the owner has changed the atmosphere so that its more like a dive bar (dim, loud music (usually either country or rap that doesn't lend itself to conversation) so its not a nice place to go if you want to have a nice date. While the BBQ is still excellent, the other dishes have gone downhill flavour wise (blander than they used to be) which has been a huge disappointment as this used to be a favorite local place of mine.“

“Very cool spot for some Korean BBQ.It was my first time doing Korean BBQ and Daldongnae did not disappoint. My partner and I had heard of this place from many articles that had been praising the service and food. The atmosphere feels like you’re stepping into a spot that resembles many small restaurants that I’ve visited in Asia.Staff was quick, attentive, and helpful. The food was great and not overly expensive. It was a great dining experience to add into the mix of our regular spots.The staff gave us a great glass noddle dish to try as they were testing it out, we absolutely loved it and hope that they add it to their menu.Parking: There is a small parking lot around the back of the building. We didn’t have trouble getting a spot there, but there are limited spaces available.“

“Amazing food, good atmosphere, great service and at an affordable price! Been here a couple of times and will go again in the future. So far we have tried their skewers, tons of side dishes (can we ask for more? not sure) and couple of kimchi fried rice. These are all fantastic! Our most favourites are the Kimchi/Roe Fried Rice and the Small Intestines. We want to try their pork belly BBQ table next time. Highly recommended!Only issue we had last time is the parking in the area. I forgot to ask if there’s parking at the back. Had to park a couple of blocks away in the residential area. if you are taking transit, it’s pretty easy to go to, there’s a couple of bus stops very near the restaurant.“
“I have been to this location many times. The staff are always very friendly and attentive and the food is always amazing. Went with a small group on a Tuesday night and tried the Ultimate AYCE option for the first time which was 100% worth the upgrade from the Premium menu . The food was brought out quickly and the meats were fresh and flavoured to perfection. I also recommend trying the garlic shio cabbage! The dessert options were great with a toasty s’more and refreshing ice-cream after a delicious meal.Will definitely come back and highly recommend!“

We were greeted by the owner who helped expedite the order so we were able to hit the road. Food was amazing even hours later. Some of the best chicken fingers I ever had. Oxtail was super tasty and flavorful and the coleslaw was nice too! $20 but huge portions, lasted for 2 servings for me, highly recommended!“
“My friend and I came to Jkson’s this afternoon for lunch. The customer service here is beyond amazing, the staff are extremely kind and thoughtful. We had the oxtail with rice peas and a side of macaroni pie, it was so delicious. The only minus for me were the portion sizes, they were on the smaller side but apart from that everything else was 10/10.“
