“We had a great experience at
Shinta Japanese BBQ and our server Chen was a big reason why. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of throughout the meal. He explained the menu clearly, checked in at the right times without being intrusive, and kept our table running smoothly. The food was excellent, but Chen's service really stood out and made the visit memorable. We'll definitely be back!“

“They specialize in chicken and do it incredibly well. Ordered a whole chicken and it was delicious, came with a red sauce and garlic sauce. The fries were perfect for this meal. Loved their soup (chicken noodle AND lentil) and their cucumber/tomato salad was so fresh. Was having a bad week/month and the young lady at the counter was incredibly thoughtful. There are good people in this world!! The place inside was spotless (including the washroom). Will be back with friends. Thank you!!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the value at La Parrilla. The quality of the food is outstanding, especially considering the reasonable prices. “I have been a customer for more than 7 years here now and I can tell you that the quality of the food is always great. Great service as usual and good customer service through the phone orders as well. I have always ordered the large tray chicken and brought it to parties, weddings, and even home for the family and everyone loves it. Downside is parking, there is curbside parking but not for longer than 5 minutes. Overall, still my number 1 spot for big order takeouts or catering.“

“Recommended to me by a friend and it was absolutely an amazing dinner for me and my family. The pork was incredibly juicy and the skin was the perfect crisp and just melted in my mouth. The fried rice was also amazing as it was pretty light and went extremely well with the char siu and the bbq pork. As a regular, lately I’ve been noticing them giving less quantity to unlucky customers. Other than that the food was just god, my son even said it was “god dinner”😂. The atmosphere on the hand was ok, as the place is a bit small, and the walls could use some work as when I went I saw a hole in it. Also one thing I recommend on their menu is the tofu because it’s not like regular tofu it’s flavourful and just unique to yummy wok. If you come here ask politely and they will give you better quality. Best Chinese cuisine I’ve tasted in a while!“

“One of my must go-to-places whenever I am in the vicinity, non-negotiable-- BBQ Roasted Pork & Cha Sui (Pork), with that extra sauce and cabbage over rice are my faves, it just hits home.
No fancy tricks, no bs, no advertisement even-- just authentic Chinese BBQ and pure hard work. There is a reason why these folks have been one of the longest running in the game!!
