“We went late last night to take a chance and see how the gluten free options would be as a celiac. We did call ahead and they said we can let our serve know at the time.
Our server brought out the allergen sheet for the sides and the supervisor was very welcoming and informative on what meats were ok to eat without any gluten and cross contamination - they were pretty well informed which is refreshing. Was our first bbq experience after the diagnosis and we were happily pleased!

“It was my first coming here with my friends, and everything was great! From the food to the friendliest staff, atmosphere and very immersive decor. I must say that GY and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure that we were getting an amazing experience. Will definitely recommend this place and come back!“
“We ordered the tasting menu. Every dish was delicious and full of flavour, with the sashimi appetizer, kalbi short rib and bingsoo dessert being standouts. Where Takja really shines is with the attentive, genial and knowledgeable service staff. Big appetites may need to add to the tasting menu. For everyone else, it's just the right amount. Perfect for date night or special family dinner.“

“have a lovely experience with this restaurant. We suppose to be eating at gyubee however we are unable to book a reservation on time. and we try the chako, the service 100% satisfyinfg. accomodate us from the time we sat on the table. replenish the meat and condiments and ask for time to time if we needed something. Worth the money and experience I might say. must a try for anyone looking for bbq grill and were looking forward to be back again. thanks!“

“I really don't regret it. Of all the Korean restaurants I've been to, the food service and visuals were all the best!! I was impressed after taking a bite. I think I will have a fun trip thanks to Deokman :) May you prosper~!!

“The Korean BBQ at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! If you love grilled meat, you should definitely give it a try! The restaurant has many branches, and you can get free refills of the steamed egg, corn, and side dishes in the small bowls (as long as the barbecue you ordered is still being served). The food tastes incredible, and the service is great too—though the tip is a bit on the high side, haha. It would be even better if the prices were a little more wallet-friendly!“

“I visited this place about ten years ago, and back then the food quality was excellent and the staff were very friendly. After returning to Toronto after ten years, I decided to visit again, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the same. The food quality has gone down, and one of the waiters wasn’t very friendly. Our food was also served very late. I ordered twice, and both times it took a long time for the food to arrive. Three other families who came after us received their orders before we did, even though we had already been waiting for about 25 minutes.“
