“One of my friends invited me here for Korean BBQ. When I first walked in, I honestly thought it probably wouldn't be my thing. We ordered the chicken and beef (I don’t remember the exact names of the dishes), they set up the grill at our table, and we cooked it ourselves. It was so yummy and delicious, and it completely exceeded my expectations!

The only minor thing is that I wish we had flat plates instead of bowls, because I didn't want my food getting soggy, but I heard its the customary way to eat it.

The staff were really friendly, brought us everything we needed, and kept refilling our veggies. I would definitely go back again!“

Takja BBQ absolutely exceeded my expectations. We ordered the Hansang set menu, and it was incredible value for the amount and quality of food you get. It was so filling that we left completely satisfied, and every course felt thoughtfully curated.

The standout for me was definitely the A5 Japanese Wagyu—it was unbelievably tender, rich, and literally melted in your mouth. Every bite was worth it. The seafood platter was also fantastic, with fresh, high-quality seafood that paired perfectly with the BBQ

The seafood pancake topped with caviar and uni was such a unique and luxurious dish. It was crispy, packed with seafood, and the caviar and uni elevated it to another level. Their banchan were all delicious and complemented every bite of the meal, and the mushroom stone pot rice was comforting, fragrant, and the perfect way to round out the savory dishes.

Even dessert was outstanding. Both the Strawberry Matcha Bingsu and Peaches & Cream Bingsu were refreshing, beautifully balanced, and the perfect ending to such a rich meal.

What truly made the experience unforgettable was the service. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire dinner. They constantly checked in on us without being intrusive and made us feel genuinely welcomed.

To top it all off, my friend casually mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday dinner (even though my actual birthday was a few weeks ago), and the staff surprised me with a complimentary birthday dessert. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that really showed how much they care about creating a memorable experience for their guests.

Amazing food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality from start to finish. Takja BBQ is an easy 10/10, and I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a premium Korean BBQ experience!“

We suppose to be eating at gyubee however we are unable to book a reservation on time. and we try the chako, the service 100% satisfyinfg. accomodate us from the time we sat on the table. replenish the meat and condiments and ask for time to time if we needed something. Worth the money and experience I might say. must a try for anyone looking for bbq grill and were looking forward to be back again. thanks!“

“Absolutely phenomenal food and atmosphere. Was completely floored at the restaurant and the attention to detail in decoration. It truly felt like an authentic experience! Barely any wait as we did call before to see about availability.

Service was impeccable and we were seated quickly and food dishes came out extremely fast. This was my girlfriend’s first experience with Korean BBQ and she absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Servers checked in regularly which was greatly appreciated.

The main courses were delicious. The sides paired perfectly and the choices for proteins were abundant. Sauces and dips were extremely flavourful.

“The Korean BBQ at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! If you love grilled meat, you should definitely give it a try! The restaurant has many branches, and you can get free refills of the steamed egg, corn, and side dishes in the small bowls (as long as the barbecue you ordered is still being served). The food tastes incredible, and the service is great too—though the tip is a bit on the high side, haha. It would be even better if the prices were a little more wallet-friendly!“

“The food is really delicious, packed with flavor. If anyone is heavy on taste, you can ask for more sauce for the slow cooked rib and goose pot.
They accomodate for allergy. My friend forgot to inform the restaurant about nut allergy when called in for the rib and goose pot. We only realized that the pot is cooked with peanut oil upon arriving. They were willing to make a new pot for us!!! Very nice of them.
