Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner.
The restaurant is surprisingly spacious inside and the atmosphere is really nice.
The staff were efficient… maybe a little too efficient 😭
We barely put our chopsticks down before someone appeared wanting to clear plates.
That said, we brought our own birthday cake and were allowed to eat it at the table without any issues, which was greatly appreciated.
The menu design is super cute too.

Hashi Izakaya is absolutely one of my favorite spots in North York! The Japanese-Korean fusion menu is so unique and everything tasted incredible. You have to try the beef tartare (yukke)—the pairing with sweet Asian pear is spectacular. The bulgogi tacos were packed with fresh, massive flavors, and the torched aburi salmon roll melted in my mouth. Every dish was beautifully presented and perfect for sharing. Can’t wait to come back!
