“Got the Spicy Beef Yakisoba, my go-to, and brought my boys to try it. I loved it as usual and always come here for a fantastic meal. Great atmosphere + service!!!Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to all dairy and eggs, and they are able to let me know what I can and can't have. They can also do accommodations if possible!“
“So worth the price, the cuts of meat were delicious ans good quality. I loved the sides ( the zucchini and kimchi are my faves). The corn and cheese is a nice touch but too sweet. Our server Haru and also Brad were very helpful and super friendly. Will be back again. A good spot for quality Korean food.“
“I ordered with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago, and we are still thinking about these corn dogs! So delicious and highly recommend. The person working was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed looking through the various foods within the supermarket too!!“
“Have been going to bento box for almost 5 years now and it is by far one of the best restaurants I have been to. Their service is always fast and kind. The warm and welcoming atmosphere completely envelopes you and makes you want to dine in regardless of how convenient their take out is. I have catered from them multiple times and the quality is always amazing. If you are debating coming here I strongly recommend you do. Even if you don’t like sushi, try their dynamite rolls, very simple, great cost, and made perfect. Amazing restaurant.“
“Ordered seafood pancake and jajangmyeon. Both were excellent. The seafood pancake really surprised me with how good it was even after a 20 min drive home. It was crunchy, yummy and loaded with seafood.Def found my fav Korean restaurant in the area.“
“This is the only reason to stop by the Newin Centre Mall as this Korean eatery serves great dishes in the food court of this somewhat sketchy mall. This is a cash only place, run by an elderly Korean couple that serves Korean classics like Soondubu, Gamjatang, and Jjajangmyun. We also had the Donkatsu and the Spicy stir fried pork. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are adequate. Make sure once you are done to return the dishes and tray back to them.Parking is available on the street or the plaza nearby.“
“I come here for sashimi and Uni (Sea Urchin or one might say,the butter of the Sea ?) sushi. I love that they always have a wide selection available, as Uni is pretty hard to find here in Mississauga! The fish is slightly chilled, which I love ? There is no fishy taste.“
“Food was amazing! Really flavourful and fresh! Service was good, but took a while to come with our meal (which is okay). Atmosphere was perfect! Lovely decorations and music! Amazing food and amazing atmosphere!Vegetarian options: They had an option for veggie dogs.“
“I got the Spicy Pelicana Signature, and the Yam fries. The chicken was absolutely delicious. Juicy and tender and probably the best chicken I’ve had so far. The yam fries were also delicious, the only complaint I have is the portion size for the fries. For 10 dollars, I expected there to be a bit more fries.Overall I really enjoyed the food here, would definitely come again for the chicken!“
“We have driven by this place so many times but finally decided to try it for the first time this past weekend. We didn't have high expectations because we haven't had good Korean food in Mississauga. However, we were very surprised at how good all the food was. It's very comparable to the korean restaurants in North York. The service is pretty decent too & the food came really quick. Each table has their own tablet to send in our order. The restaurant itself is pretty old looking but it was very cosy.“
“Mom and pop business. Highly recommend their tofu and black sesame dessert. Prices are very reasonable, I’ll be back.Vegetarian options: All their food offerings are vegetarianParking: Parking is very busy but if you want to walk, the secondary parking lot is empty. That’s the one I will use next time.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp get into the mall“
“We have been going here for 20 years!!! Every one of our families notable events have been celebrated here! Now that (Mom & Dad) live 3 hours away it was not even a question as to where we would go over Easter week end. Kana was amazing making sure we were taken care of. She even spoke some Japanese with my daughter, which made a Mom proud! The memories we spoke about of this place were amazing, from elementary school graduations, to high school, universities and most birthdays! Thank you Miga, hope to see you again soon!!!“
“Their fried chicken combo is really nice. The price can be a little high, but I think it's the average among korean fried chicken these days. The chicken is crispy, the seasoning is sweet, sour and spicy. The sauce is not too overwhelming nor salty, which I like. However, they changed their spicy sauce a few months ago and I miss their old flavour.Their skewers are also really tasteful, I enjoyed all types of sauces (cheese, spicy etc). The male owner is also very kind. I sometimes had to wait extra 10-20 minutes when they had many orders rushing in, but the owner always apologized and once gave me extra pickles as well.“
“Wow. The kimchi here is spectacular- very deep flavour and complex, also very crunchy. The food we got was also well done and seasoned perfectly. A good amount of food, fast service, and the place was jam packed. Will def return if I'm in the area.“
“I was so excited to find a proper Korean restaurant in Burlington! I can finally fulfill my soft tofu stew cravings without traveling to Hamilton. Their Korean fried chicken is also really good if you don't like spice or aren't feeling too adventurous.“
“We had a delicious dinner here! Everything had good seasoning and not too salty. We made a reservation and the staff were all very lovely and accommodating. The side dishes were all great and was given a refill (radish, kimchi, bean). We ordered the Combination Soon Tofu (Plain), Hot Stone Bibambap, Bulgolgi Soup, Spicy Broiled BBQ Pork, Pork Bone Soup, Large Fried Chicken Wings (honey sauce), and Fried Beef Dumplings. My top recommendations: soon tofu, bibambap, and chicken wings.Parking: Be careful some parking spots are marked for tenants only.“
“I've been going to Owl for many years, but first time in this Oakville location. You know the food is good, when I saw the sign driving by, I did a u-turn and went in immediately. My review is only takeout & Gamja-tang (pork bone soup) at this location. The Good: The pork soup is identical to all their other locations, one of the, if not the, absolute best I've ever tasted. You get at least 3 bones per order, and always the potatoe. Not too spicy. The sides we had 1. Kimchi, again best I've ever tasted, spicy, garlicky and somehow seemed it was fermented more, much deeper, true kimchi taste than other places. 2. Cucumber was heaven, sweet & sour, and addictive please order extra. Lady taking my order was very friendly. If your train is late, or coming home at the GO station after work, stop here once and try it.The not so good: At 11am weekday the restaurant had a pungent smell, floor wet as if just washed. Not sure if the cleaner or chlorine but the smell was not appetizing at all. It also looks very old, as if 50 yr old diner, the sign, the posters inside all look very sunburned as if old age. Was that on purpose? It's in an isolated commercial and industrial part of town, but walking distance to train. Stop here after a night of drinking in TO for your hungover remedy.“
