“The food was pretty good! You order and pay at a self-serve kiosk, then take your receipt and number to sit wherever you like. Once your number is called, you simply go up to pick up your food. We didn't want our dishes to be too spicy, and after paying, we were able to speak with the kitchen to request a milder spice level, which was appreciated.
We ordered the tofu seafood soup with rice and the cold noodles, both were pretty delicious.
The seating area feels a bit like a food court, with part of the space used for supermarket storage hidden behind doors. There is a public washroom and a water station with free water available as well.“

“I’ve been coming here almost two decades (my oldest was a toddler when I first started eating here & he is now an adult). The owners are a hard working authentic family who have always been kind & respectful & yes, I always get a smile. It is not high end dining, it is a quaint little Japanese Korean restaurant. The food has always been fresh, consistent & a good portion size. They keep the restaurant clean. As for a tip, others have mentioned being pressured - I have never experienced this, unlike at other places like Subway. I love this like gem & will continue eating here. My favourite is the chicken yakisoba - so good!!!!“

“I'm not super versed in Rice Dogs, but the ones served here were top notch. Juicer and more flavorful than the chains, you could add your own dressing, and the prices were an absolute steal in today's fast food landscape. If you get lost easily (like me), it's at the back of the grocery store and you have to walk through the checkout line to get to it. Also, FYI there's lots of extra seating further back, so you don't have to fight over the one little table in the front. Absolutely worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!“

“This is the best authentic Korean food in the Oakville area=. Everything was extremely delicious fresh and full of flavor. The portions were generous and the quality was excellent. “I love this food court and this restaurant. Anything but pretentious. The prices are great and the meals smack of authenticity. The elderly couple who run it are sincere and sweet so you get a great meal and your heart gets warmed too. There's nothing corporate about any of the restaurants in this food court.“

“The best Korean restaurant in Mississauga. The soups, the stews, the meats, and the kimchi are all gas af! All ingredients are fresh and made with love and care. All the ajumas and ajeoshis are all really great cooks and extremely kind. Everytime I come eat here, I leave always satisfied. Please tip them well!“

“The food was delicious. I had the beef balgoggi which was served with rice, diacon, veggies, carrots and egg. Very tastey. However, I believe there was MSG in it which is normal for Korean cuisine. I am extremely sensitive to the MSG and barely slept that evening. I will just stick with Pho next time. It was very fresh and the staff were all lovely.“

“The ''gan-jja-jang-myun' or noodles in freshly prepared black bean sauce was actually really good. The 'tang-su-yook' was really good too as we asked for the sauce on the side so we could dip the battered pork. Hack: paid $3 for white rice and use the leftover black bean sauce to mix with rice. Not sure about the other dishes, but these were well prepared. Craving these already and will be returning soon.“

“Nice sushi restaurant with an extensive menu featuring both Japanese and Korean dishes. While it's definitely on the pricier side, the quality and freshness of the fish make it worth the cost. I tried the tuna rolls, sashimi, and nigiri, and everything was fresh and well prepared. 🍣“

“We were just looking for something to eat at midnight and randomly decided to try out this place.
We got the large Spicy Pelicana fried chicken and the cashier threw in extra radish for us too which was so sweet!
The chicken was yummy and the signature sauce is really addictive.
I will definitely come back with friends to try more dishes w soju“

“I’ve been a regular customer at this sushi place for years, and lately they’ve been adding more items to their menu. I recently tried the chicken and corn soup, and it was really good as well.
If you’re looking for a place for lunch, brunch, or even breakfast with their expanded menu, this place is definitely recommended.“

“I saw this place promoted a lot on Instagram, which actually made me skeptical about coming here. Too many influencers gassing up garbage these days. But I was so pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Service was excellent and super attentive. The food was authentic and well-flavoured. I love that they have items you wouldn’t usually find at other AYCES either - like raw marinated crab and soondae. Drinks, appetizers, banchan, and desserts are all self-serve. They also decreased their price to $39.99 on weekdays (not sure about weekends). They accept credit card, and there isn’t an automatic service charge either. This place truly deserves more love. Highly recommend!“

“I go here alot to get food but today around 6:40 I ordered from a young lady who was nice, but the guy who was working with her was very unpleasant. I don't know if he was having a bad day or not but maybe put a smile on your face. I already have to wait for a fresh corndog for 8-10 minutes. Why am I given an attitude for the first time just because I went to another store and I was gonna come back anyways! Great food though“

“We had a wonderful dining experience at The Famous Owl of Minerva! The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the KamJaTang, Korean BBQ, and side dishes. The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean and inviting. Excellent food and service—we’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“
