“A great spot for Korean food! The service was amazing, the waiters was so kind and attentive. The portion sizes were huge and everything has so much flavour! We ordered the spicy chicken, mul-naengmyeon and the sashimi naengmyeon. This is an amazing place, we will definitely come back again!“

“This restaurant is a bag of mixed emotions. It looks okay on the main door, in door isn’t bad . It’s small but carries this cozy vibe. Suitable more for students, I’d say. The food looks okay too but the taste…the taste is another issue. It doesn’t match the look. It tastes like Chinese food. Let me explain…I think they don’t use the Korean ingredients to make traditional Korean dishes, but instead just use any generic soya sauce and spice to make these original dishes. Fried dumplings are kinda hard & oily. Service is okay. I’d suggest owl of minerva restaurant if you wanna try Korean dishes. Pricing is fair.

“This place is a hidden gem. It's not the greatest location, nor is the interior but the food is where this place shines. The kampungi is the best I've ever had, and beats out the kampungi at Ozen in London. The spicy pork is also very delicious and has a more savory flavor rather than sweet, which I prefer and better matches the pork belly. The side dishes, ban chan, are pretty good but there is better out there. Overall a very good place for authentic Korean food.“

“Genuinely feels like home, the service is great and the food is always amazing. Best Korean Food in the elbow (Hamilton, Burlington etc.) and in the hammer for sure. will always keep coming back my favorite location (i have been to majority of the other owl of Minerva for reference).“

“We have been coming to Joya at least once a week for the past several years. This place is outstanding in every possible way, and we are so lucky to have such great sushi locally close by.
Atmosphere is peaceful and beautiful, the service is wonderful, and the food is always consistent, clean and delicious. We love you Joya

“The sushi here is absolutely delicious. The ingredients are fresh. The rice is cooked properly and the portions are good for the price. These rolls are quite big (above average) and lots of variety to choose from. Note this a takeout location only with no dining in. A great spot if you’re in the mood and looking to try something new. We’ve been multiple times now and they have been consistent. Enjoy“

“Went with my girlfriend recently. Got the Korean style hot dogs, original tteobokki, and bulyong (dinosaur nuggets) with the sauce on the side. The hot dogs tasted great, loved how the cheese melted in your mouth and the flavours work together, the spiciness from the tteobokki had a great kick and the dinosaur nuggets were also good. A great place to go.“

“Little Tokyo is a staple restaurant in Oakville that has been there for over 20 years! I have been going here over the years and finally decided to leave a review. They serve consistently good quality home cooked Korean meals. Last time I went in, I noticed the restaurant was renovated and offers nice in restaurant seating. Meals take around 20 min to prepare, you can call ahead for takeout. The employees are always nice. I got the chicken teriyaki and bulgogi. My fam got the bibimbop and sushi (a newer offer). Meals are served hot and will not disappoint!“

“Went for the 3rd time today. This is going to be my go to fried chicken place! They make great Korean fried chicken (sometime I want to try something else, but I can’t get past the chicken ;) ). Also, really great service (shoutout to Chris). Read reviews and someone gave this place a one star review for food, service and atmosphere because they closed the kitchen a little early… not merited IMO. Life happens, but they make good food and have good service. Small places like this rely on reviews and an unmerited 1 start does real damage.“
