“Came here for the first time during lunch. The food was tasty but the portion was very small. I'm not sure if it's because it was lunch but the bibimbap came in a bowl and not a hot stone dish which kind of defeated the whole purpose, as one of the reasons I like bibimbap is the rice continues to cook and crisp and I can cook the egg instead of eating a runny one . I saw reviews that the banchan was good but we didn't really get any. Except a little bit of kimchi and the shaved radish. The spicy rice cake was very tasty. I'll come back and give it a chance outside of lunch hours . The lady that works there is really friendly and helpful .“
“Awesome Korean BBQ in st.catharines.. I drive by this place all the time and have never tried it.. I went with a friend last night and was very surprised.. meats were seasoned well as you ordered them (unlike Lang Lang which was terrible in comparison).. server changed our grill multiple times but seemed kind of upset we stayed right until closed, didn't say thank you after I tipped 20 percent. Might have just been an off night for her which happens but this pace is great, nice a cost with a great menu! Highly recommend!“
“Better than most Korean restaurants in Toronto! Kimchi stew is life! The seafood stew is also so delicious. The flavours are strong, authentic and not watered down. Huge portions with lots of meat and seafood. And very nice time dining in also.The kalbi and fried noodles are also very tasty!“
“We were hungry after visiting Niagara Falls and found Rok’s as we drove by. We had the Yang nyum and the Kal Bi fried chicken meals, they came with fries and radishes. I can’t even put into words how tasty both flavors were, everyone enjoyed it. I even dreamt about it for a few days afterwards, it was that good. I live in Maryland and I’m thinking about driving back to Canada just for this chicken!! Come to the US please.“
“great place to dine with a special someone. love the mocktail choices. service was spot on. food all delicious. their rotating menu makes it easy to go back again & again! loved the cheeseburger bao buns the most, also tried thanksgiving nachos and the (slightly spicy) dumplings. you will see me here again.“
“Really cool atmosphere and vibe. The ambiance is very chill and laid back. Food was carefully thought out and presented. Was definitely surprised to find a hidden gem like this locally. Great service, and overall experience very nice. Will come back for sure. Great spot guys!“
