Lamb madras is meaty, the sauces is thick and good with rice or naan. I recommend get the garlic chilli naan, the butter chicken is amazing too. If you want to hangout with group of 4, this will be perfect for you, the place is cozy too. Don't forget to say hi to the owner, the guy is super chill and very knowledgable. The wraps here are made with a different type of pita that was much thicker than my liking.Also order a beef suqaar platter with spicy rice, salad, bbq chicken ? and a greens a potato dish.Definitely recommend this late night spot and definitely bang for your buck!”

Everybody is great, but one person definitely stands out. His name is Shivi. He always welcomes you with a smile, no matter how long the lineup is, he knows your preferences, and when you make a mistake in your typical mobile order, he will recognize the difference and correct it before you pick up your order. He goes above and beyond the typical service. He’s always pleasant and very nice to talk to when he gets a chance to catch a breath. The team is well organized and very willing to make you happy. Yes, there might be some slow moments for the people who wait in line, but it’s not due to the team’s work. They were perfect. Ended the night with crispy churros with both caramel and chocolate sauces. The food was delicious and as someone who had a lot of Mexican food, this place has the best so far that I've tasted in the GTA.”

“My first evening in Toronto staying on Lake Shore Blvd, the hotel I stayed at (TheWestLake Hotel) had Dakota's listed as a recommended place to eat. I popped in on a Monday night around 2000 (8 PM) and the place had a few patrons, but wasn't crowded. The bartender was nice but not the usual evening bartender, but she did a great job. I tried a couple of Canadian brews (can't recall the names) and enjoyed them both. I ordered buffalo wings as a app, and a burger with fries as my main meal. The wings were ok. One thing I learned was that Texas spicy and Canadian spicy are two different things! But they were not overcooked and were pretty big wings, so I enjoyed. The burger was not a dinky little burger, but was a good size with a nice thick slab of hamburger as the patty. It was cooked well and the meat was hot and the veggies were cold (Absolutely the first hallmark of a properly cooked hamburger) I would have preferred the hamburger be seasoned more as it tasted like plain ol' hamburger meat. This could also just be the difference between a Canadian burger and the burgers I make and enjoy in a couple of burger joints here in Texas. Now that I'm thinking about it, most hamburger places in the states - at least the chain joints do not season their hamburger. The places my family and I eat at, or not of that hamburger vein, as they season the meat with at minimum salt and black pepper. If there was any recommendation, it would be that. Otherwise it was an excellent, hearty meal. The fries were spot on. Meaning crunchy on the outside and tender potato on the inside. They tasted like a fry ought to taste! Service and order to eat time was pretty quick. The atmosphere was fun - not too loud - with available sports on the TV. I will go back again and after adding some salt and black pepper to my burger I will enjoy it all the more.p.s. Canadian ketchup is also different than what I'm used to. It's a little sweeter and absolutely enjoyable on salty fries! (They even make ketchup flavored potato chips that my son thoroughly enjoyed (not at Dakota's just a squirrel! thought)”

The ham, that perfect mix of salty and sweet, the lettuce and tomato and mustard just made it amazing. The manager Mike is so nice! They also have parking which is also convenient and a quick walk from Royal York subway! I would reconsider giving them a try! The portion sizes are great i tried the beef udon and it was amazing! I also tried the skillet cheese sushi which i loved! The prices may be a bit on the higher side but its def worth it! Since coming on a weekday, right when they opened, it was empty however they already had lots of take out orders!We got seated and was given menus right away. Their menu is very big so it could get overwhelming so do take your time and ask questions! We ordered a Tosilog (Tocino, Garlic Rice and Eggs) and their Lunch Special 15 (Bbq Chicken, Cebu Lechon and side of Garlic Rice and Crispy Fries).Everything tasted good and authentic. I especially appreciated the variety of sauces you're given with your order.My only complaint is the plates they used for the food, mine was served on such a small rectangular plate, I kept dropping food everywhere! Their portions are really good so I would hope for a decent plate for comfort. I wasn't upset by the cancellation as 'stuff happens'. I am not a frequent client, however, this will be my restaurant of choice from now on. Siam checked their records when I made the reservation and found out what had happened the last time I booked -and he made it right! We were so very impressed with what Siam and his team did for us. This is extraordinary customer service and I am telling everyone I know about it.”
