“Ordered a one piece halibut with fries. Haven't eaten fish and chips in a while so I dont know what the price is in general but my initial reaction at the price was one of some shock. 2 pieces, I can see justified, but for one piece?

Service was friendly, the place was clean but it reminded me restaurant's id visit with my dad in the late 70s. Maybe the traffic doesn't warrant a face-lift.

Food was good. Nothing was too oily or tasted like the oil was old or overly done. Ive ordered delivery from here in the past, never disappointed.“

“Love the atmosphere here. It has a super chill, casual diner vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and got our food out fast.
The Meat Eater burger is a beast with tons of bacon and an awesome garlic mayo. We also tried the Great Canadian burger which has peameal bacon and cheddar, definitely a solid local twist. Grabbed a side of Rings to share and they were massive and perfectly crunchy. Great spot, will be back.“

“2026 April - The food here is very hot and good. The waitresses are very casual and friendly. The restaurant is run down so don't eat-in if that bothers you.

Check your take-out bags before you leave. I ordered fish and fries and gravy to go. I was very disappointed when many hours later I cracked the bag only to find zero gravy. DISAPPOINTED ‼️

“Not sure what happen this is my go to place Tonight the fries and fish all tasted the same with a bad after taste Im not even sure I got halibut the roll was tough stale the only thing the same was the coleslaw slaw I usually have a hard time finishing an order tonight was kid size I will give it one more try out of loyalty. If I had not fought Port Credit traffic to get there I would have returned it I think it may have been old oil“

The owner Chaudhry saab has made significant improvements in regards to the quality and quantity of the fish served, the dining experience and the price of the food. The food was delicious, definitely reccomend to try out the pomfret fish curry with naan with family.

“Tried Da Grill Plus in Streetsville for the first time and it honestly might be the best halal fish and chips I’ve had so far.

I ordered the fish, shrimp, and fries combo, and the portion size was huge. The haddock was perfectly cooked with a light, crispy batter that wasn’t greasy at all, and the shrimp were crunchy and flavorful. The fries were fresh and paired really well with everything.

The sauces were a pleasant surprise too. The tartar sauce complemented the fish perfectly, the seafood sauce was great with the shrimp, and their hot chili sauce had an excellent kick. Even the ranch they gave on the side was surprisingly good.

The food tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and the value was excellent for the amount of food you get. Everything is halal, and they also offer burgers, shawarmas, chicken, platters, and more.

Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Mississauga or the Streetsville area. I’ll be coming back again for sure.

“We had very good food especially fish and shrimps, made well and very tasty. The disappointment was when we asked for bill staff told us they take cash or debit and if u want to pay by credit card, they will charge extra 2.4% ( they have not mentioned this on their menu nor visibly displayed it on their entrance door or neither staff told us this at the the time of order placement. They have put a very small handwritten note on the fridge/display fridge ( this is very small and almost not noticeable). The staff has pointed to this note when I insisted where it’s posted show me? It clear on bill of 215 cad they want To charge extra on pretext of credit card fees that no one charge now a days“
