“Captain Azza’s crab cake is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The side of couscous was the perfect complement—light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. I also tried the grilled fish—it was perfectly cooked, moist and flaky with just the right amount of char and seasoning that brought out the natural flavor of the fish. What really made the experience memorable though was the kindness of the owner, who surprised us with a complimentary serving of the potato side. Such a thoughtful gesture that shows they truly care about their customers. Amazing food, warm service— Can’t wait to come back!“

It is a definite local staple, especially if you have a sudden hankering for perfectly crispy fish and chips. Because every meal is prepared fresh when ordered, you can always count on your food arriving piping hot. “A large Club group of 40 had lunch at the Red Lobster on the Queensway! We had a separate party room for our group. The service was just great and the servers were very pleasant and accommodating. We received our meals in a timely fashion considering the size of the group. The menu is very extensive but varied which serves well to many different tastes and appetites. Everyone in the group really enjoyed their luncheon choices and most had to ask for takeaway cartons. We had couple or individual bills and they were handled efficiently by the staff. All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon!“

“Small mom and pop shop serving great fish n chips. They don’t skimp on their portions so we thought the prices were great for the value. We live near by but this was our first time going here & can guarantee that we’ll be back again. The batter was crispy and the fish was flaky. Service was pretty quick tbh. Theres seating for a variety of group sizes and we didn’t have much trouble with parking. The staff were so kinda and attentive to us. We left feeling so full and had leftovers to bring home too.“

“Top class service, tasty food, great wine, and just a wonderful experience. I called for a reservation for my girl's birthday a week in advance and the owner remembered without me saying a word when we arrived. At the end he brought her a complimentary delicious French vanilla ice cream topped with a macaron and raspberries filled with caramel. That's world class. As for the main meal, we ordered crab cakes, scallops, and I had the ribeye and she had the striploin. It was cooked exactly the way we love it and the beef quality is absolutely fantastic. The Chilean wine we had with it was fantastic. My desert was a warm pecan pie a la mode. Just delicious. This is the kind of place you would want to be at for a special birthday. We will 100% be back. Service like this isn't common in Toronto and I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.“

Service was friendly, the place was clean but it reminded me restaurant's id visit with my dad in the late 70s. Maybe the traffic doesn't warrant a face-lift.

Food was good. Nothing was too oily or tasted like the oil was old or overly done. Ive ordered delivery from here in the past, never disappointed.“

“I recently held a business meeting at this restaurant, and while the food was excellent, the overall experience left much to be desired. The dishes were delicious, but the service felt rushed. To add to the disappointment, we were asked to leave abruptly (15 minutes after paying), a surprising and unwelcome end to our meal. I understand the need to turn tables but this was completely unprofessional. There were 3 couples waiting for tables as we left and yet the restaurant could accommodate hundreds of guests. As an out-of-town (out of country) visitor, I've never encountered such a situation before, leaving me with mixed feelings about the establishment.“

“2026 April - The food here is very hot and good. The waitresses are very casual and friendly. The restaurant is run down so don't eat-in if that bothers you.

Check your take-out bags before you leave. I ordered fish and fries and gravy to go. I was very disappointed when many hours later I cracked the bag only to find zero gravy. DISAPPOINTED ‼️
