“My husband and I were in town for the Blue Jays game to see our friends. We couldn't get tickets for the Jays game, so they recommended that we visit the Bull on Bloor in Etobicoke. This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.“

“Friendly and warm service, although a mocktail wasn't available on the menu, they offered to make one based on the cocktail of our choice. The steak tacos were yum!! The potatoe gnocchi and the fig dessert definitely surprised me, i wouldn't have ordered it usually but i enjoyed the dishes. The chocolate cake was quite decadent. Cheers to the team!“

The menu is full of yummy sounding things. After we ordered a serving of curry was being delivered to another table. It smelled soooo good.

Friendly salt-of-the-earth crowd. It won't feel like Toronto when ur here, it's more like sitting in a small-town Ontario working class bar.

“It was first time dining in at Taudo's yesterday and my family and I had a great time! The portion sizes of each meal was significant. I really enjoyed the garlic butter shrimp pasta while my family had the brown stew fish.

“I recently held a business meeting at this restaurant, and while the food was excellent, the overall experience left much to be desired. The dishes were delicious, but the service felt rushed. To add to the disappointment, we were asked to leave abruptly (15 minutes after paying), a surprising and unwelcome end to our meal. I understand the need to turn tables but this was completely unprofessional. There were 3 couples waiting for tables as we left and yet the restaurant could accommodate hundreds of guests. As an out-of-town (out of country) visitor, I've never encountered such a situation before, leaving me with mixed feelings about the establishment.“

Their customer service was easily 10/10, and they consistently checked in throughout my meal to make sure everything was perfect. I ordered the 12oz steak, and it was cooked exactly the way I asked juicy, flavorful, and easily one of the best steaks I’ve had. To make the experience even better, the head chef surprised me with some complimentary food, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers both amazing food and exceptional service. Huge shoutout to the entire team for going above and beyond.
