“My family went to Jack Astor's today July 18 to celebrate my husbands birthday. There was a line up waiting for tables,, but we did not wait long to get one. We were seated in a comfortable booth for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the services from the person at the reception, up to the host escorting us to our table and most especially our server Tilda who was very courteous and very professional. She came by our table as frequent as possible to check if we were ok and if we need anything else. The food we ordered were excellent. We loved he Asian wanton Nachos and the calamari and all our mains plus dessert. Thank you Tilda for your spectacular service and for bringing other workmates to gather together to sing happy birthday to my husband. Very nice harmonious voices and this made my family and most especially my husband birthday meaningful. thank you,“

“Food is fantastic! Ingredients are of the highest quality and no fillers or sugar masking anything! Had the double burger and it was outstanding! Beef is amazing and cooked perfectly medium rare! The fries are delicious and not greasy! The spinach garlic dip is also house made. The crust on the pizza is fantastic! The cheese is high end! The strawberry Chocolate mouse is real cream! “Arrived late at Yyz and stayed at the best western hotel a few minutes away. We were starving! We ordered a chicken fajita pizza and omg! It was just fabulous! The two of couldn’t eat the large we ordered and ate the rest the next day! Awesome awesomeness pizza and staff“

“At Elijah’s Automatic I had a really good burger with great charred taste with minimal grease/oil. Overall, it was an excellent burger. The fries were average, but the onion rings were nice and crispy. The dining area was quite dark and dimly lit, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. All in all, a great meal, and I’d put this burger in my top 5 all time.“

“My husband and I were in town for the Blue Jays game to see our friends. We couldn't get tickets for the Jays game, so they recommended that we visit the Bull on Bloor in Etobicoke. This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.“
