“When I first saw this place there used to be long queues outside this shop during Covid days. Then I thought that may be I am missing something. Then on one day I went there when it was not so busy. My daughter just loved it...we tried gulab jamin roll ice cream. Not only good taste but it was interesting to see how the rolls were actually made. Saw kids just looking at the process of making these rolls. Rates slightly on the higher side but was worth it!!!“

I bought a ham sandwich and some wonderful pastries. I think it may have been the best ham sandwich I ever had. The bread was both crispy and soft. The ham, that perfect mix of salty and sweet, the lettuce and tomato and mustard just made it amazing. When I trained as a chef, the chef who trained me said "Do the simple things with care and attention, this will let people know the quality of your work." “We went to get some ice cream at 7:45 pm on November 9th 2024 and had the most pleasant experience with the young woman with glasses, who was working on this night. She was very helpful in making recommendations and overall had wonderful customer service. She even told me the cost breakdown of my order with extras. I usually would not make a review for a quick ice cream run, but her wonderful customer service really made it a lovely experience! We will be back for sure“

“The kids size is enough for 2 people to split if wanting just a good dessert snack, although it was only $1 more to get the small size. We had the burnt marshmallow, and it did not taste too sweet, and we would come back for this. For some reason, we started to taste the burnt marshmallow more as we got to the bottom of the tub. That flavour was magnificent, and needs to be more prominent in the ice cream tub.“

“Stopped by D Spot Dessert Café for dessert recently, and it was a bit of a mixed experience.

We ordered the milk cake, which I was really looking forward to, but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It had a noticeable rose-like flavor that overpowered the classic, traditional taste I was expecting. If you’re someone who enjoys floral notes, you might appreciate it, but for me, it took away from that rich, milky sweetness that makes milk cake so good.

On the brighter side, the brownie sushi crepes were actually really good. The brownie was dense and fudgy, and the melted Belgian chocolate added that indulgent, smooth finish. Definitely the highlight of the visit and something I’d order again.

Service-wise, it felt a little underwhelming. Our server hardly spoke to us and didn’t seem very engaged or interested, which unfortunately brought down the overall experience. When you’re going out for dessert, especially somewhere known for indulgent treats, the vibe and service really matter.

Overall, some hits and some misses. The brownie sushi saved the night, but between the milk cake and the service, it wasn’t as memorable as I’d hoped.“
