“First time visiting this cute ice cream shop. I had come in to get a taste of their strawberry ice cream: there’s something about using real Ontario-grown strawberries in ice cream that appeals to me.
It blew me away and I returned 10 minutes later to ask for a coveted take-home pint…but was so sad to hear that none were available. The gentleman who served me both times is the sweetest and ended up scoping one last pint of the strawberry ice cream, which sat alone in the freezer. It was my lucky day and I nabbed that pint!
If you want tasty, handmade ice cream made with real ingredients served by wonderful people, this place is the place to be! I will be returning to try their other flavors :)“

“Absolutely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever tried! Everything is locally made, and the owner makes the ice cream himself. The flavours are incredibly rich, fresh, and so unique compared to regular ice cream shops.
My absolute favourite is the Biscoff and Golden Oreo. SO good!! 🤤 But they have tons of different and creative flavours, so there’s always something new to try.
The owners are also amazing and kind -
super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they make. You can tell a lot of care goes into every flavour.
If you love ice cream, this place is a MUST TRY. 🍦❤ I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“It was my first visit to Scooped and I was very glad I went here! We decided to go here after lunch at El Catrin. There are numerous flavors of Ice Cream, but I decided on the Guava Cheesecake. A single scoop in a cup was perfect! They make their ice creams and cones in house. I'd definitely go back here again when I'm visiting the Distillery District in Toronto!“

“I first went to the Village Chill when I was four years old. Despite the dozens of ice cream shops which have opened up in the Cedarvale-Forest Hill areas, I keep coming back here. Each of their flavours are personal and unique. This is not your average ice cream experience. It is a tiny shop with a big heart.“

“We went here after eating some Authentic Italian Pizza next door at Pala 148 and wanted to keep the Italy vibe going so we stopped into Gemma Gelateria and tried their dairy free dark chocolate Gelato and it was soooo good and really chocolatey! It's tasted just like melted dark chocolate! The price was reasonable and the staff were very welcoming. It's a little shop with limited seating but in the nice weather there are lots of places to sit in the area.“
“Cute little place with a nice selection of treats and teas. We had the cassava cake and the rose lychee drink (delicious!) will definitely be back to try their bubble teas and scones.

“As you can see it’s a fun, cute little spot.
The ice cream itself though was delicious! Got the peaches and cream and the taste did not disappoint. It tasted like actual peach not that artificial fruit taste and the ice cream itself was creamy, as expected from an ice cream shop. The price is also pretty on par with other independent ice cream parlours.
My only ‘complaint’ is that it’s a small space but otherwise definitely going again.“

“Phenomenal experience! This local bakery has such a wonderful selection of pastries, which are a little pricey, but great as a treat! They do also have Bang Bang Ice Cream flavours that were delectable & perfect if you don’t want to go to their location (that typically has a pretty long wait). The service was helpful and friendly, along with a reliable team that makes the line go fast! The seating is limited, but the window seats are really great for a small rendezvous. Overall, I’ll definitely be returning to Bakerbots Baking for another treat!“

“Spent the afternoon here with my boyfriend while Lucy was working. Sitting on the patio made the ice cream taste even better. She made us feel so welcome. She is fun and ironic make us feel in Italy. Her service was so warm and professional that I always end up buying more than I planned. 😂

“Wide variety of flavours that change regularly! I tried the lemon and the wild berry and I was a huge fan of both but mainly the lemon. “Honey’s is hands down the best vegan ice cream I’ve had. Seasonal flavours and ice cream bars are standouts, with the double pistachio flavour being my current fav. They also carry Bad Attitude tiramisu in the bottom of the freezer! Updated from previous review on 2026-08-31“
