“I can’t say enough good things about Dairy Cream — honestly one of Mississauga’s sweetest treasures! This place has been around since 1958 and continues to be a local landmark because the classic ice cream and dessert experience here simply never gets old. 

My absolute favourite is the strawberry funnel cake with ice cream — warm, crisp funnel cake topped with creamy, rich soft serve and sweet strawberry goodness. It tastes just as indulgent as the ones you’d get at Wonderland or Centre Island, but right here in the city! 

Beyond that, the menu is packed with delicious options. People rave about their soft serve cones, dipped cones especially chocolate, cherry and other fun dip flavours. There are also classic banana splits, sundaes, milkshakes, and just about everything else. All the portions are generous and full of flavour, so we always have some leftover to share. 

There’s usually a line in summer — and for good reason. Folks happily wait for a treat that transports them right back to nostalgic summer nights. The vibe is classic, the staff are friendly, and the old-school charm makes every visit feel special. “

“Usually stop by here after kids swim lessons at AquaTots heartland. My kids love the cookies and cream and Hersheys ice cream. We had the mini pancakes this time and it was amazing with the brownies and whipped cream, it’s a must must try! My daughter also loves the birthday cake flavour! “I am not exaggerating - these are superior to loukoumades on the Danforth these days. I simply cannot control myself and end up buying the the 30-pack every time. I go half salted caramel and half raspberry cheesecake, but there's something for everyone. Oh and summer before last they offered key lime soft serve (not pictured) and it was really delicious.“

Absolutely blown away by Leonidas Chocolate Shop & Café. This place is dangerous—in the best way possible.

We ordered the Brookie Sunday (brownie + cookie situation) and… wow. Rich, indulgent, perfectly balanced, and straight-up unreal. One bite in and my girl just looked at me and said, “Next level.” Zero exaggeration.

Everything tasted premium, thoughtfully made, and worth every calorie. If you have a sweet tooth—or even if you think you don’t—this place will change your mind.

“Came all the way from Ottawa but was told they close at 8:45pm today when I arrived, no explanation... the worker didn't even really care and wanted to get out.

Nov 29 - changed my review from 1 star to 5 star. I went back and the owner was there and he was very kind and offered me a free treat and explained the situation. We talked about the store and his other locations. the desserts are great and the owner is great at customer service.“

“Great spot tucked in the corner of the Metro plaza at Derry and Winston Churchill. They have delicious shakes that are big enough to be a meal! Loved the Tuxedo Royale one with the slice of tuxedo cake on top and the Feels Berry Good which is made with real strawberries and blueberries. They use a generous amount of ice cream to make their milkshakes. They also sell Kawartha ice cream here. They share the space with Dosa Eatery so you can start with something savoury and finish with a sweet treat.“
