“We came across this cute cafe on a walk around Port Credit and had a lovely experience and chat with the owner Shifa (I hope I got that right!). The chocolates are simply out of this world, you can taste the difference and quality and there are so many box sizes to choose from which is really great for gifting. The cake slices looked generous and delcious. The owner was kind enough to give us a taste of some gelato-- we'll be looking forward to visiting this summer for that! Our Americano and tea latte were perfect and the cute latte art panda was a sweet surprise! Highly recommend making this a regular stop during your visit to Port Credit!“

“Wasn’t going to come in but my plane was delayed. Glad I did. Clean, well staffed, a smaller selection than the maple lounges but they did have a few hot breakfast options. But the best part is the great selection of grab and go options to take with you. Even provide little bags and disposable cutlery. Now just figure out how to get your flights off on time. 🤔“

Soft Jazz or easy listening is their background radiation.Clean restrooms. Very friendly and conscientious staff. Coffee table books and various archaic trinkets adorn the place. I've visited many times over the years: rain,snow or shine; always a pleasure to be there. Please keep up the standards, it's one of the very few places still worth coming to Cooksville for.“

“Whenever Leon is there you know you're getting exceptional service. Even if its the first time you've been there he makes you feel like youre a regular. Their coffee is great, and the food is also great. And those chairs make you never want to leave!“

“Amazing. Ive been to another gaming cafe before, and this compares wonderfully. The food here is perfect. The drinks are beautiful and taste very good. We were there at about 2:30pm on a Sunday, and it was empty when we got there. We got fries and churros for our table (of 4 people) and all got different drinks and we all have no complaints about the food or drinks. There is a wide selection of games, including Hues and Cues, Joking hazard, Tapple, 7 Wonders, etc. The games were in great condition, and all the cards were laminated. There is a 2.5 hour maximum if its busy, but if its not you can stay for as long as you would like. The staff is very kind and wonderful! I have already recommended the place to multiple people and am definitely going to return.“

“So, a coworker and I decided to check out this new venue. It's very clean and has a great vibe to it. It's decorated very nicely too. I ordered a smoothie, I think it was called Ghandi (it's green and has lemon and ginger in it). Regardless it was very yummy. I'd recommend it. The staff was very friendly. We even purchased these great canvas bags too. Perfect for everyday use as well as shopping. Go check them out. Forgot to complete post from March 2020. Damn pandemic.“

The mechanic across the street is also fantastic and referred me over here while he worked on my car so great spot if you need work done on a car and take a break.“

“Such a lovely Italian cafe with a super cozy atmosphere! As soon as you walk in, it smells incredible. I ordered a black coffee, and it had an amazing, strong flavor—just how I like it. Vanessa recommended the salted caramel cappuccino, and it was SO yummy! I didn't get a chance to try their sandwiches this time, but after such a great experience, I will definitely be visiting again soon.“

“I approached the bakery about doing a large order of butter tarts for my dad's celebration of life. They were his favorites and it was our plan to serve his favorite foods. The butter tarts were a hit. My original order was for 4 dozen and I could have very easily ordered 4 dozen more. People were raving about the tarts. “The samosas are excellent when you can get them.This is very unfortunate. Driven to the store and found it closed on several occasions during operating hours. Called the store prior to going and no one answers the phone or it goes to a voice mail that is full. A bad way to run a business for sure, but I must state again that the samosas are excellent.“

“Studio 89 has always been a place of comfort for me. I do miss the old location but the energy and passion has only amplified at this location. This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“
