We ordered aalu puff patty and corn cheese puff patty along with few pastries - ras malai and gulab jamun pastry.I would recommend patties as they were really well baked, hot and crunchy and taste like India but I dint like ras malai or gulab jamun pastries as they don’t bring real flavours.It may be a great option for eggless cakes but it just not meet my expectations for cakes.“

“It's a really great place! The food is definitely comfort food and very cheesy but it doesn't leave you feeling heavy and gross! The price was very affordable and reasonable and it didn't feel like it was breaking the bank. The owner was really nice and the atmosphere was great. Good location too right in the heart of port credit. I got a burger with mac and cheese on it and it was to die for, my table shared a plate of tater tots which were super nostalgic and tasty, will definitely be coming back here again soon! This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“

“My boyfriend and I stopped by Truscott on our way into Toronto from Buffalo.There was quite the extensive selection of hot food items. Daily pasta, focaccia paninis, fried chicken, etc. On the first trip, I tried the daily pasta with two meatballs and my boyfriend had the tortellini in cream sauce. My dish could have done with some more salt, especially the meatballs, but my boyfriend's was delicious! The filling of the tortellini was exceptional, so much so that we got this again on our second visit. Pasta dishes came with a bread roll, which were quite lovely. Soft with a nice chew and delicious with some good quality butter.There's a rack next to the fresh breads of (I'm assuming) bread that's a day or two old and sells for a bit cheaper. From here, I got some rolls, mini baguettes, and Portuguese rolls. All of the bread still felt soft and fresh despite being older than a day, and I've stashed some in my freezer to reheat in my oven for when I want freshly baked bread!In addition to this, there was quite the impressive selection of packaged pastas, sauces and jams, drinks, and various other sweets such as pies, cookies, and danishes.But the star of the show was the pastry case. Again, a very impressive array of pastries. If you buy six or more pastries, they aren't taxed! On our first visit, we tried the pecan butter tart, lemon bar, Portuguese tart, chocolate raspberry roll, tiramisu slice, and maritozzi. My favorites were the maritozzi and Portuguese tart. I would drive to Toronto and back just for those two pastries. This place is a must visit and must revisit!“

“If you like pizza they have great pizza and they are quick to serve you and miss you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a fresh pizza to be made other than that they have washrooms and dining area. They the washroom is of women and men's shared one so you have to use this code to get in, it's pretty clean inside other than when men pee on the toilet, LOL and I have to wipe it off and put the toilet paper all around other than that they have an outside patio with a two benches you can sit on. They have a parking area with about 10 parking spots or less on the elder right side of the building if you're facing it from Dundas Street. Sometimes on nice days it gets pretty busy or otherwise there's usually just a couple of customers inside. They have handicap parking they have handicap doors or you can push the button and they open on their own for you. They have very clean and very nice stuff they're very friendly and tend towards your needs when you ask for something as soon as you asked for it.Parking: If you're facing the pizza pizza from Dundas the parking is on the right hand side of the building, there are about ten parking spots or less. They have a handicap parking spot as well.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp and they have the button to push the door to go open on its own for you so if you're in a wheelchair it's easy accessibility to get inside the building.“

Fillings were distributed evenly which is not always the case with such meals. Had plenty of options to choose, include or exclude, through Uber Eats app which gives you flexibility based on your diet type. There were also additional side options to choose from. I will definitely be getting it again and again whenever I need. I did a take out so one of the time the app said the pickup will be ready in 35 mins but after 15 mins it said it's ready so I left from home when it suddenly got ready. I live close by so wasn't a problem but I found it weird that one time that it happened. I tried calling the store to check if it will take 35 mins but there was no response.“

Unfortunately, I had to throw it out after a few mouthfuls. the bisque was not bisque, it was more like Tim Hortons soup quality. Very watery with little taste. Felt like I was slurping a beverage in a cup. Hate leaving a negative review for a place I typically love but it was very disappointing after making a special trip to get it.
