I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you both for taking the time to listen to my concerns regarding the incident that occurred earlier this summer. What happened that Wednesday evening truly shattered my trust in the service we had come to expect from Heartland Swiss Chalet.

Albert, I sincerely appreciate you reaching out to me personally after learning about my call. You understood why my family was so upset, and that meant a lot to us.

Tonight, a few months after the incident, my children and I returned to your restaurant. We were fortunate to have the most amazing server, Farzy, taking care of us. She made us feel welcome and said something that really resonated—“this is our home.” It felt good to be back.

I recently hosted a birthday party there and from the moment I initially checked out the venue, the events manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very professional and made the whole planning process such a breeze. My guests and I were very happy with the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. Not to mention that the restaurant is already so pretty, you don’t need much to decorate your event! On day of the party, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. I definitely would host another event there in the future :)“

“We always come to the Comfort Inn the night before we travel.We love that we can go to JC,s Grillhouse directly from inside the hotel.Today we had the chicken dinner and Fetticini Alfredo with chicken, both were delicious.Sham was our waiter/ host and he was excellent at his job. Drinks were coming without wait and they were good proper pour, food was served good and hot. It started to get a little busy and Sham was the lone person working front of the house But, he handled it like a champ.He is super fast and focused..Thank you Sham and We will be back soon to your hotel and to JC's Grillhouse. The staff of the hotel and restaurant have very nice people taking care of everything .We always enjoy our stay

“I never leave a google review but Navpreet at Drive-thru was AMAZING. She was kind, patient and I really loved the customer service. Need more employees like this during a drive thru experience. Her customer service skills were exceptional. She should be promoted . Usually new hires are kind but she mentioned she has been working for 2 years. Lovely experience! Very happy !“

“My friends and I walked in to wanting to play bowling not knowing there was a fight night showing. It was super busy when we came in and got served by Casey, she was the nicest person despite the super busy night and multiple people there asking for things Casey did an amazing job getting us everything we needed and was so accommodating.

“I have worked in the area going on 35 years and have supported small businesses in my area whenever possible. I have been a regular lunchtime customer since the 90's. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a Hello! by staff. The new owners Sammy, Moe and Mona from day one have always accommodated my dietary needs. When I told Moe if it was possible to make up a batch of Salad Dressing with Extra Virgin Olive Oil he promptly got on the phone with a family member and had them pick up a bottle. To my knowledge they have been using Olive Oil whenever possible in most of their dishes. The food is amazing and my go to lunch is the grilled chicken breast with a modified Greek Salad with the home made Beats. There is no other food in the area that even comes close.
As a small business owner myself, I am always amazed how many people take the time to write a negative review but it seems that most people who have a positive experience do not take the time. Please help your favourite small businesses by taking the time to write a positive review when you experience it. We are all going through difficult financial times where a kind word goes a long way and costs you nothing to do but a little bit of your time.

“Great efficient service by Manjot. Food was delicious but I wasn't satisfied with the hollandaise sauce. It was runny and even the colour was off. Pancakes were so good and the chicken fajita omelette was delicious. I really liked that they offer halal options.“
