“I would highly recommend hosting your event at Culinaria Restaurant! I recently hosted a birthday party there and from the moment I initially checked out the venue, the events manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very professional and made the whole planning process such a breeze. My guests and I were very happy with the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. Not to mention that the restaurant is already so pretty, you don’t need much to decorate your event! On day of the party, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. I definitely would host another event there in the future :)“

Brenda is typically the one who takes my order at the window and she is consistently efficient and friendly.

Please bring back the jars of pickles so I can enjoy an entire jar in front of the TV without the embarrassment of asking for an ungodly amount of extra pickles with my order.“

“My favourite burger place for an Angus combo. Every time there’s a coupon out for a 2 can dine Angus combo, I usually get it. From the burger to the toppings to the sauce, everything is always perfect. Onion rings also complement the meal as well, as it’s tasty and moist on the inside. Will always be the number 1 burger joint in my opinion. Puvana was great in taking our order.“

“I took some cooking classes here with their chefs and it was an amazing experience. Kevin and Jaylen are excellent instructors. Despite taking many cooking classes in the past, the various classes I took on sauces, breakfast, salads, knife skills and starches were exceptional and I learned things I never learned anywhere else. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“Attended trivia night on Wednesday and had a blast. The trivia was the right amount of challenge for a bunch of middle aged folks which seemed to be the crowd attending. The topics were varied including puzzles, music, general knowledge etc., so something for everyone. It makes for a really fun activity to do with friends. Overall vibe was fun and folks got pretty serious about their trivia. Apparently it does fill up so make a reservation before you go. It starts around 7:30pm and we were done by 9:15pm.

Food and service was also great. We shared the macho nachos which were truly huge and loaded. Easily for 5-6 people to share as an app. I also had the bang bang bowl which was delicious. Loved the crispy chickpeas. My husband ordered the margarita pizza which was ok. The lavender tea spritz mocktail was really good too. I asked for less sweet and it was perfect. Overall the food is good and servings are generous. But it is definitely not cheap. Also the service was pretty good considering it was quite busy.

We will be back for trivia night again for sure!“

“I've been going to Wally's at Hurontario & Central Pkwy since 1985. In fact in 1987 on a very late Saturday night actually Sunday morning I met my 1st girlfriend who was a stripper. This location was very popular in those days for strippers, Patched motorcycle gang members, bartenders, clubbers, and anyone that wanted chow really late.
It may look a bit tired inside these days but the chow remains as decent as it was in 1987.
Recently I've been coming here because I'm in the area. The chicken souvlaki dinner is fit for a champ. Doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are, if you wanna eat like a champ you'll order the chicken souvlaki dinner. And if you came decades in the past like myself, the memories will accompany your chow !
Every bite I take reminds me of Crystal with her natural double D's (1987) !

“I had breakfast at Bar 120 Thursday before boarding my flight. It started by me walking by and asking Lea (the waitress) if it was possible to just get a bagel and coffee versus the full menu packages on the menu. Lea told me it was. From that moment I received the kindest, warmest and most personable service I can recall receiving in a long time. It was moving and made my morning. Look for Lea if you go.“
