I recently hosted a birthday party there and from the moment I initially checked out the venue, the events manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very professional and made the whole planning process such a breeze. My guests and I were very happy with the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. Not to mention that the restaurant is already so pretty, you don’t need much to decorate your event! On day of the party, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. I definitely would host another event there in the future :)“

“The attention to customers experience is amazing ! Server Angeline noticed I had not eaten my full meal she immediately asked”was there a problem”? I have eaten at this restaurant many, many times with only rave reviews about food. Tonight a problem, right away the General Manager Stefan Jackson came to our table and offered compensation. I said the problem not with staff, the kitchen but the way the steak was butchered incorrectly so the cook was perfect, unfortunately the meat was the problem. Mr. Jackson was so polite, professional and obviously wanting to ensure that we were happy with our experience. Service like this is outstanding and as I have been a regular customer at Taps, I will continue to be. Thank you Angelina and Mr. Jackson for your thoughtfulness and handling of this. We were a group of 10 people, getting on an early morning flight the next morning. Our server was named Via. Drinks followed by dinner.

Via did an absolutely fantastic job looking after us. She truly is special and we hope she is appreciated by management.

The food was truly outstanding. Fresh, hot and good sized portions.

If you’re staying in the Comfort Inn on Matheson you don’t need to leave the property to have a great experience.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“I took some cooking classes here with their chefs and it was an amazing experience. Kevin and Jaylen are excellent instructors. Despite taking many cooking classes in the past, the various classes I took on sauces, breakfast, salads, knife skills and starches were exceptional and I learned things I never learned anywhere else. “Found this place completely by accident. Our destination was the store next door. When we finish shopping next door we thought we’d give this place a try for breakfast. It’s a bit run down inside and we debated on staying….not the typical restaurant for us. I’m glad we stayed for breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and they didn’t disappoint. Three eggs, peameal, English muffin, home fries and toast….unlimited coffee. The service was a bit slow but worth the wait. The biggest surprise was the bill…..for the amount of food we had including a tip $30. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.“

Amazing experience at Harvey’s! 🍔🔥 The burgers were fresh, juicy, and made exactly how I like them. I love that you can customize everything — it makes the meal feel way more personal. The fries were hot and crispy, and the staff were super friendly and fast.

“I've been going to Wally's at Hurontario & Central Pkwy since 1985. In fact in 1987 on a very late Saturday night actually Sunday morning I met my 1st girlfriend who was a stripper. This location was very popular in those days for strippers, Patched motorcycle gang members, bartenders, clubbers, and anyone that wanted chow really late.
It may look a bit tired inside these days but the chow remains as decent as it was in 1987.
Recently I've been coming here because I'm in the area. The chicken souvlaki dinner is fit for a champ. Doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are, if you wanna eat like a champ you'll order the chicken souvlaki dinner. And if you came decades in the past like myself, the memories will accompany your chow !
Every bite I take reminds me of Crystal with her natural double D's (1987) !
