The meat was juicy and tender and quite the size I struggled to finish my plate, veggies tasted fresh. This has been one of my go to lunch out places with meals that doesn't disappoint. The waiter was very attentive and the place is spacious with tv and a loaded bar. Must be fun during happy hour. I tried their Fettuccine Alfredo on my 2nd visit and it was good as well but I enjoyed the Mom's Pork Chop more. “My family and I went on a Monday morning (around 8 am) and it was empty, the food was great, I had the cinnamon raisin toast French toast and they were so good, not as sweet as I thought it was going to be. My husband had the blueberry pancakes, super fluffy and delicious and I ordered some fruit and bagel for my son.The service was great, the lady made sure we always had coffee. “It is our weekly Friday ritual after grocery shopping to stop by Swiss Chalet and get dinner. Over the years many have served us at the checkout counter. I always preorder so it should be a quick pickup. Lots of times no one is watching the takeout counter. I’ve had to wait sometimes up to five minutes for two men standing over by the phone doing nothing to acknowledge me and call someone. Very disheartening. The best employee to ever work the take out cashier is Kanwal. She is always at her register. She always greets with a smile and my transaction takes less than a minute to process. If only everyone who worked there had the great customer service that Kanwal has. Whenever I come in and don’t see her I know it’s not going to be a quick in and out transaction. She truly is the best employee that’s ever been hired. A true delight everytime I come in.“
“My husband, daughter, and I were up for 24 hours after taking 3 flights. When we checked into the Double Tree hotel we were greeted with so much kindness. The front desk staff even got milk and cookies for our toddler. We got a few hours of sleep and then went for breakfast at the Taza Grill and Bar. Our 2 servers Sylvia and Alina were so friendly! They were extra nice to our little girl too. We have nothing but great things to say about all the staff at this hotel and restaurant. The food was excellent too and came quickly. Highly recommend this place.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

Turtle Jack's labels itself as a "MUSKOKA GRILL" (...and pictures all its food with cottagey backgrounds...)....and yet DOES NOT OFFER ANY PRODUCT FROM MUSKOKA such as LAKE OF BAYS or MUSKOKA BAY BREWERIES to name just two.Wheelchair accessibility: YES....all washrooms on main level....“
