I recently hosted a birthday party there and from the moment I initially checked out the venue, the events manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very professional and made the whole planning process such a breeze. My guests and I were very happy with the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. Not to mention that the restaurant is already so pretty, you don’t need much to decorate your event! On day of the party, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. We came to GameTime Eatery to join other Maple Leafs fans support the team.

We tried out Gametime Eatery on Dundas in Mississauga and had such a fun night with friends.

FOOD:
The crispy shrimp and fries were absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and fresh. I also tried the buffalo chicken wings and baked chicken wings.

DRINKS:
I asked for a drink that wasn’t sweet or salty—something more on the sour side—and ELLIE at the bar delivered! She made a refreshing cocktail with a hint of cranberry that was spot on. Light, tangy, and really hit the spot.

AMBIANCE:
Loved the vibe —plenty of big and small screens, and the smaller ones had really crisp resolution.

Perfect setting to enjoy and watch a game without craning your neck because there’s TV’s big and small in every area.

SERVICE:
Special shout-out to ELLIE, who was super friendly and efficient even though the bar was packed. She checked on us often and served everything with a smile.

Also, big thanks to SHAN in the arcade area. We had trouble with a machine after swiping our wristbands twice, and he came over right away to fix it. He’s accommodating and quite fast on addressing our concern.

EXTRA FEATURES:
• Bowling lanes: Loved that you can play in your own shoes! Plus, the lanes have 4K video screens overhead—very cool.
• Arcade: So many game options—driving, shooting, riding, and more. Something for everyone.
• Parking: Free parking in the plaza—no stress.

Definitely a fun place to eat, drink, and play. Looking forward to coming back!

On our second visit, again we chose to stay at the bar. JOSH was awesome and efficient too. He paid attention to our specific requests.

“I've been going to Wally's at Hurontario & Central Pkwy since 1985. In fact in 1987 on a very late Saturday night actually Sunday morning I met my 1st girlfriend who was a stripper. This location was very popular in those days for strippers, Patched motorcycle gang members, bartenders, clubbers, and anyone that wanted chow really late.
It may look a bit tired inside these days but the chow remains as decent as it was in 1987.
Recently I've been coming here because I'm in the area. The chicken souvlaki dinner is fit for a champ. Doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are, if you wanna eat like a champ you'll order the chicken souvlaki dinner. And if you came decades in the past like myself, the memories will accompany your chow !
Every bite I take reminds me of Crystal with her natural double D's (1987) !

Whenever a person enters, they greet them with a wide smile and go up and beyond when it comes to the customer service. The atmosphere is also chill and great place to enjoy with friends and family.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“Looked up a place to try some Italian food close by, and this place came up. I ordered the soup of the way and spaghetti with meatballs. Both tasted great. Service was great and efficient. Pleasant meal with good friends and service. I would consider eating at this place again if the opportunity came up .“

“I loved the rooftop ambience and the street view. Gave the impression of an old time Mexican street cafe.
The food was well prepared and well served too. We ordered the Steak Sandwich and the Chicken Wrap. Heavy must say. Rather filling.
The service was great! And I must add that the Long Island Iced Tea was prepared quite well.
Value for money.
For parking - I'd suggest the Library which is a short walk away.
