“Sofia gave us a great experience, and was a fantastic waitress. It was my first time at Jack Astor and I will certainly be back. The food was super tasty. I highly recommend the fiesta salad (I am vegetarian), with breaded tofu.

“A pleasant and welcoming place to dine with family and friends..although the waitresses were accommodating they tend to forget the number of tables they have to attend to. The food and dessert were very inviting and mouth watering.. it gave us time to communicate with each other.“

“Fred's is an amazing place all together the food is absolutely perfect and well worth the money. Fred's is always packed on most days so if you ever decide to give them a go make sure to arrive early enough, you will not be disappointed.“

“So I went to this restaurant on August 8th this week for a social event, and the onion rings and chicken fingers were good and the service was good. However, if you require news captioning, there is something wrong with the TVs or with the service that the restaurant uses which prevents them from being able to turn on closed captioning for the CP24 news channel. I was very confused as to why the staff I asked said no to me - I genuinely believed discrimination at first. However, someone from the social attempted to navigate the menus and the option for closed captioning was grayed out and not selectable. I hope that issue can be corrected in due time around the TV and/or the service as captioning has many beneficiaries and I would hate for the restaurant to miss out on repeat business because of that. My recommendation is thus based on the service around food. Numerically, everything overall is a 4 out of 5.“

“I stayed at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale and had dinner and breakfast at Quest. It's practical, tasty, and you can choose from multiple options (gluten-free or veggie).

The food is really good and the portions are copious. Service is also good, although it was better last time I was there (in January). I also feel it's a little bit overpriced if you don't have one of these 15% off vouchers.“

We had a group of 6 there last Saturday, and the food was delicious, and service was great.
We watched- Red Velvet perform, and they were outstanding. So much fun, great band and set list“

“On Saturday night we celebrated a 40th Birthday with a party of 19 in the sectioned off room. Hannah, our server was amazing!! Very efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone was very happy with their food choices. Huge servings. Many of us took doggie bags home! Kudos to the serving staff as well. All the food was brought out promptly at the same time. Coming out tonight has changed our experience; The Pump house had amazing wings and our server Damian was totally awesome. Will definitely return“

“From the time we walked in until we walked out we were impressed. Upon entering, the host asked if we wanted a veg/gluten sensitive menu. Which I needed and was very appreciative of. She sat us at a table, then came over a min later to tell us a large group would be sitting behind us and perhaps wanted to change seats to somewhere more quiet. (That right there meant a lot to us as we had a long day and just wanted to relax and eat). Our server Victoria was amazing! Super friendly and gave some great suggestions. The food was beyond. I had the burger with the GF bun and I’m telling you it lifted my spirits. My partner had the club with the cranberry bread and said it was the best they’ve ever had.
The only downfall to this restaurant is there isn’t one in Halifax!
You should all be proud of your restaurant.“

“Oh my lord, Andrew the cook is a Michelin grade artist. The Montreal Smoked meat on rye was dripping wet with juices, the hand cut and blanched yellow gold potatoes with home made gravy made me have several “food orgasms”.

“I've been coming to the Franklin house since I was 19 years old, I'm 33 now and the service is A1, the food is A1 the atmosphere is.... You guessed it, A1! You get nothing but the best.

Dena is one of the best bartenders you'll ever have, she's always had my back and made sure everything thing is right no matter how busy the day may be!

I would recommend the Franklin house to anybody for their family outings or just a place to come by and have a few drinks and relax after a long day. Locals are friendly and easy to make friends with! 10/10 there's no place better than the Franklin house!“

“Originally, I sat down craving a burger. When I asked the server if they had one, she informed me they didn’t. Instead of simply stopping there, she kindly suggested other eateries in the airport where I could get a burger, including the restaurant directly opposite. I was impressed by her helpfulness and the effort to accommodate my request, but I was too tired to walk, so I decided to stay. That turned out to be the best decision! The bacon club sandwich I ordered was amazing—it tasted incredible! The orange juice was perfect too, with zero pulp, just the way I like it. The service was great, and the food was even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
