“Studio 89 has always been a place of comfort for me. I do miss the old location but the energy and passion has only amplified at this location. This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“

“After an evening walk in Port Credit, we decided to treat ourselves to a Mexican dinner and found El Mariachi in Streetsville, which is just a short drive from our home.

We had a wonderful dining experience! The shrimp ceviche paired perfectly with the margarita, making for a refreshing start to our meal. My 8-year-old daughter absolutely loved the Chicken Tinga tacos, and it was great to see her enjoy every bite.

The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel right at home.

We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great drinks, and warm hospitality!“

UPDATE AS OF JULY 5 2026: I decided to go for a third time with my partner to celebrate his birthday keeping in mind that last time two times the girls gave us exceptional service. Unfortunately this time they werent there but it wasnt too concerning for us. The place wasnt crowded maybe 4-5 tables before us. We got sat down and had to wait 20-30 mins for our orders to be taken. If they hadnt come in the next 5 mins, me and my partner were ready to leave. When someone finally came, they said they were told that that we werent ready to order yet. How do they know that though? The funny part is no one came to check up on us during the time that we sat down to actually know if we were ready to order or not. The guy who was taking care of our section basically didnt give a shit about attending to our table and the same attitude continued during the entirety of our dinner. The most annoying part people who came after us got their orders taken and even their appetizers arrived before our orders were taken. Not gonna comment on why this was the case but to us the reason was pretty obvious. The food was good as always but service really disappointed us this time. We dont know if we will be back after this experience. Compared to the service we received from Sohal, Roel and Ayesha, this was below par and very disappointing.“

Can be a bit messy as some liquids leak at the bottom but overall great flavour. They also have a bunch of lunch menu items such as burgers and tacos, however they are quite pricey.“

“I would highly recommend hosting your event at Culinaria Restaurant! I recently hosted a birthday party there and from the moment I initially checked out the venue, the events manager, Michelle, was extremely helpful and accommodating. She was very professional and made the whole planning process such a breeze. My guests and I were very happy with the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant. Not to mention that the restaurant is already so pretty, you don’t need much to decorate your event! On day of the party, the servers were very attentive and welcoming. I definitely would host another event there in the future :)“

“Celebrated father's day here, I was a first time customer and overall enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, as friendly as the servers were, service itself was lacking. It's moderately cozy, and it was yet busy but somehow my table felt forgotten. The food was great. We order a few appetizers, dipping sauces were amazing 👏🏾. Chicken wings, crispy and juicy. Chicken fingers were really good too. And you can never go wrong with Thai curry! Amazing flavor unless you have an aversion to coconut milk.

What truly made the visit exceptional was the outstanding service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. It’s always refreshing to be welcomed with such genuine hospitality.

“By far, the best puffs and mini donuts you will ever taste. They are very generous with the sauce and everything is made fresh. They’re usually busy so there might be a wait but it’s worth it. Even when delivered it’s still warm as I have ordered to the office many times.
The only feedback I have is that sometimes the almonds may taste old, I’ve only had that experience once but other than that, everything is fantastic“

“Came here for dinner and it definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere—modern, clean, and comfortable without feeling too fancy. It was busy, but we were seated quickly and never felt rushed during our meal.

We started with the crispy calamari, and it was honestly one of the better ones I’ve had. It was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The fresh cucumber, pickled radish, and jalapeños gave it a nice refreshing balance instead of it just being another fried appetizer. Everything tasted fresh and was plated beautifully.

The drinks were also well made, and our server was friendly, attentive, and checked on us at just the right times without being overbearing. The service made the whole experience even better.“
