“Sunday morning. First time here. How could we do that, where have we been missing the best vegan food in Canada. Amazing quality, portions, presentation, taste above and beyond. Thank you Maria, our hostess, such a great smile, we asked her to choose for us , I know which we shouldn't, her choices were the best. Now the music from the 80s just complements everything“
“Literally the BEST vegan bacon I’ve ever had. It cooks well, smells great, has a great texture. Totally unmatched. Not sure how I’ll survive without it now that I moved to Montana. 10/10 would recommend.PS the chicken “wings” are great too!!“
“Studio 89 has always been a place of comfort for me. I do miss the old location but the energy and passion has only amplified at this location. This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“
“A must-try for any vegetarian/vegan in the GTA. Amazing service, food and selection. My favourite is kalga dhalla (wings alternative) and the mean (fish) and chips. Tasty milkshakes and falooda as well. Thank you for giving me a place to enjoy delicious veg takeout!“
“I love it going to Bloomers! Being a vegan, I did find it hard to find a vegan dessert place. When ever I come here, I always feel so welcome & everyone is so helpful. Anjali Was really patient with me & helping me with recommendations too. I will never stop coming here & I’m grateful that I told got about this place. My dad come also comes here a lot too to buy me donuts ?“
“Although there's very limited vegan-friendly places in Mississauga, myself and many vegan activists love this place. However, I strongly urge the staff to ditch wearing fur coats. We approached them with kindness and asked them if they are willing to put up no fur small poster at their door (nothing graphic and it's a compassionate stance) without hurting customers who wears fur. It really makes myself and others so uncomfortable. Vegan establishments is literally the only place we feel safe and have socials after a long day. Many vegan restaurants/cafes in Toronto are even doing their part in fur activism by putting up fur posters that kindly ask customers to not wear them, and they are still welcomed to the establishment. Please ask the staff to not wear fur in ANY vegan establishments. It's disrespectful.“
“Discovering Raw Aura was a delightful surprise for a vegan family seeking tasty and friendly dining options. The warmth of the place immediately made us feel at home, and the excitement was palpable, especially among the kids, who couldn’t get enough of the kale chips. The zucchini noodles were a fresh take on a classic, but the yellow coconut curry noodles stole the show, earning the title of “the best” with ease. While the nut portion was generous, it contributed to the richness of the dishes, adding a satisfying depth of flavor.Don’t leave without trying their desserts! The key lime cheesecake was a dream, striking the perfect balance between tart and sweet, while the carrot cake was moist, spiced to perfection, and utterly unforgettable. Raw Aura isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a haven for vegans looking for delicious, wholesome food that delights both adults and kids alike.Vegetarian options: Vegan“
