“Many gluten free options! Burger buns and the bread with your chili or soup can be ordered gluten free. They also have a gluten free brownie for a dessert option. Everything is vegan, so it's safe for a strict plant based diet. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and staff was welcoming. We'll definitely come back.“

“Studio 89 has always been a place of comfort for me. I do miss the old location but the energy and passion has only amplified at this location. This place continues to inspire and remind me of the importance of kindness, humanity and consistent strive for community change. On my most recent visit, I attended a coffee watercolour paint day, where the café repurposed used coffee grinds. This innovative practice caught my attention, as well as placing it near international dog day (also my dogs birthday) allowed me to bring my dog and my parents to participate in accessible outdoor fun for all of us and creating some art to celebrate a fun day. This was just one example of the many ways 89 continues to inspire me and the community at large.“
“A must-try for any vegetarian/vegan in the GTA. Amazing service, food and selection. My favourite is kalga dhalla (wings alternative) and the mean (fish) and chips. Tasty milkshakes and falooda as well. Thank you for giving me a place to enjoy delicious veg takeout!“
