The Peking duck was delicious crisp skin, juicy meat, and the presentation was beautiful. High quality dimsum as with the rest of the food and this is reflected by the higher price tag. “It was our first time trying Sun Chinese cuisine and it definitely won’t be our last. When we walked in we were hit with the aroma of a pleasant broth. The menu is limited but that’s what makes everything so perfectly delicious. When we were seated we could see through the kitchen window that the noodles they were using in the dishes were freshly made by hand. We ordered lamb skewers and braised beef noodles (for which I recommend picking the thin noodles). The meat in the broth was very tender and juicy, so full of flavor. Also, the staff was very friendly and kind and the service was very fast. Add this spot on your must visit list!!“

“Hidden gem this place. Broth was excellent. 1 order of spicy and the other broth mild. If you dare the pork belly soup, it melts in your mouth, both meat and the fat. The beef was so soft and tender.
All of it it was great. I can't explain the flavours. The mango sago was very good. It's like a bubble tea in a bowl with mangoes and toapioca.

“Went for dinner at this unassuming chinese restaurant. We ordered Salt Egg Yolk Chicken Wings, Eggplant with Braised Tofu and Garlic with Pork Ribs. All the food was delicious, well seasoned and flavourful. I was delighted by the chicken wings, battered and fried then salted egg yolk was added which gave it a different twist. We love chicken wings and this is the first time we have tasted such a different way of preparation and it worked. They are really good. The pork ribs battered and fried in garlic and served with lots of fried garlic on the side which was really enjoyable. The food was freshly prepared. Price is also very reasonable. We truly enjoyed the food, and will surely be back.“

“My Server was very sweet, and nice. She greeted me with a very genuine smile, and made me feel comfortable. The taste of my food was very good. The only criticism I have, is based on my personal preferance for crispy fried noodles verses soft noodles. The atmosphere is that of a diner. It was clean inside. I enjoyed my visit.“

“This is my go-to chinese spot for classic Westernized chinese food (General Tso, Sweet & Sour chicken, etc). If you love hot and sour soup, theirs is CONSISTENTLY good with a decent amount of tofu, mushrooms, and the spice is med-hot.

Their sweet and sour chicken is made different than other places but I still enjoy it.

For lunch, you can’t go wrong with the $9.50 special that comes with rice, meat and a drink OR egg roll. So hard to come by a $10 and less meal for lunch nowadays.

The staff is always very kind and I’ve never had any issues with them. Also, if you’re ordering food over $48, bring cash and you get a free item (get the cream cheese wontons!)“

Ordered beef brisket rice rolls, fish congee, sliced pork, liver and kidney congee, shrimp dumplings and fried fish skin and dough fritters to dip in my congee. I love this type of comfort food and this placed fulfilled my cravings.

“Had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Ginsoy! Every dish we ordered was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

The chicken steamed dumplings were tender, juicy, and incredibly delicious. The hot and sour soup had the perfect balance of spice and tanginess—comforting and full of flavor. We also tried the Ginsoy Special, which truly lived up to its name, and the Szechuan dish had just the right amount of heat and bold taste. The shrimp fried rice was loaded with shrimp, perfectly seasoned, and complemented everything else beautifully.

“We got the xo beef rice noodle and Beijing chicken on fried rice. Total was just under $25.

Both gave massive portions and were super steamy and hot when served. Seemed to be cooked to order so you may wait but it's not for long.

Rice noodles were wok fried, a bit on the oily side but it is to be expected considering the type of wok dish. Bean sprout were cooked to perfection, slight crunch and the onions were soft and sweet. Plenty of beef that is extremely tender despite being on the thicker side. Definitely marinated for that tenderness. The noodles themselves are a good texture with some chew, not over or under cooked. Long noodles too so they weren't soggy enough to be broken during the frying process.

The whole dish is not overly seasoned. Very balanced and subtle flavours which allows you to taste the ingredients themselves.

The fried rice was well cooked, no clumps and not hard or soggy. Not oily at all and a good amount of flavour without being too salty.

The Beijing chicken was the star of the show. The meat itself is tender and bouncy, not juicy as it seems to be white meat. The batter is crispy and not super thick, which is great so you get the perfect batter to meat ratio. The sauce is spicy, savoury, and a hint of sweet. It perfectly balances the chicken meat and the sauce doesn’t make it lose its crunch.

Neither dishes are super salty I would say. If you like heavier flavours I would recommend something saucy like the Beijing chicken.

The uncle who was at the cash was super sweet and soft spoken. He was chilling, cutting some beans and took my order no problem.

Considering the price, portion, quality, and service, 5/5 would come again.“

“I ordered the spicy fish and it blew me away. The fish pieces were wonderfully cooked—tender on the inside with a great coating that soaked up all that rich, spicy sauce. Love the generous amount of diced onions, chili flakes, and green onions that give it such a flavorful punch. If you like a dish with some real kick and amazing flavor depth, this is it. Will definitely be ordering this again!

“Great food but suffers from a lack of staffing. Plates going uncleared from the table for extended times (15minutes+ on multiple occasions) and only 2 servers running for the entire place. Would like to go back when staffing is up to what is needed. In the restaurant at current and still waiting now 45 minutes on a water refill. Please hire more people.
Oh and clean up the washrooms. Broken paper dispenser and only one sink faucet working at time of visit. Daily check signage on the wall last signed in May. This is June 24th.“

“It's a hidden gem! We accidentally ended up there just for hot and sour soup and it was too delicious. A medium portion was enough for 4 people, and the amount of chicken and egg in the soup was really good. We then ordered chicken lollipops, which were extremely good as well – well-cooked and spiced. We rarely get this type of lollipop chicken, as sometimes it gets chewy or hard, but this was too good. We ended up going back again the next day and re-ordered with chicken fried rice, which was flavorful as well. They give complimentary spring rolls. Highly recommended.“

“This is the most iconic Canto restaurant of mississauga. The survival of this plaza has been very dependent on this restaurant.

Been eating here for almost 30 years, started as a teenager and now my elder child is a teenager. Can't believe im writing a review just now. The little boy in there is now a handsome giant.

This is the go-to place for the chinese community of all generations. Surrounding chinese places have been opening and closing throughout the last 3 decades, this is one of the rare ones that never falls. It even out-lasted No Frills.

Menu is huge, pricing is fair, food is authentic western hk style, quanlity is high, vibe is retro.

Its consistency can fare against mcdonalds. The same dishes taste identical to decades ago. Its lobster aquarium is still slented but never falls.

The owners and chef havent changed. They still look fairly young, hopefully more decades to go.

“I had a great experience at China China Palace! The food was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The wonton soup was delicious and comforting, with a rich broth and tasty wontons. The General Tao chicken was perfectly cooked with just the right balance of sweetness and spice. The chicken balls were crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the BBQ spare ribs were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
The chicken fried rice was packed with flavor and complemented the meal perfectly, while the wings were crispy, juicy, and absolutely delicious.
