“Our server Tony was awesome as well as the other servers. We were here for a birthday and had a wonderful time. They sang Happy Birthday and took a great picture as a souvenir. We will definitely be back for our next birthday party.Kid-friendliness: Our toddler had fun and loved the rice“
“Chilli fry momos with chicken were PHENOMENAL highlight of all the dishes for sure. Schezuan chicken came with white rice, the chicken was a bit peppery and lacking the tang I was expecting. They used white meat instead of dark super fried chicken pieces which was honestly a nice change from some other Hakka places. We got the chefs special style vege noodles which weren’t too oily, very flavorful. Portion sizes for everything were great for the price. Service was great and we will definitely be returning customers, looking forward to trying other items from the menu.“
“The only reason its 4 stars is because of how the sushi rolls were. They just kept falling apart in the plate not fully rolled to be able to pick it up therefore had to use fork sometimes lol. Nonetheless tho the restaurant is nice and i liked it a lot as first visit.“
“A classic rice noodle roll and congee stall, this place rocks all the classic HK stylings from the seating area to the music played through the YouTube playlist on the TV. Congee is super flavourful and deep (doesn't feel like they just threw in toppings on top of plain white congee), the cruellers are fresh and crispy, even the curry fish balls are super steeped in flavour. This place knocks it out of the park for a very reasonable price. My go to place for Chinese comfort food. Accepts cash or debit if over $20.“
“We hosted a family party for 14 people at Congee Queen. They sat us at a large circular table in the private dining room, which was exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. The service was fantastic and the food was amazing. Every dish was so delicious!“
“An authentic and hits the spot for yummy canto dishes. Been away from home for a while now and not many restaurants in Canada can match up to the flavour profile of my hometown Malaysia. Although the dishes are canto style, Malaysia has variety in all the dialects from China and Hong Kong too so I’m very familiar and enjoy canto style cuisine. The wok hey can definitely be tasted with my Mapo Tofu. Although it’s simple dishes but these dishes are elevated from other regular Chinese restaurants that lack flavour and technique to bring out the robustness of the simple dishes. And everytime I see salt and pepper fried chicken wings, my heart starts pounding cuz I love chicken wings Asian style. This was not disappointing one bit. The crunchiness, saltiness, garlicky and hints of spice all perfectly balanced. Even after tapao-ing and reheating in the oven, it was just as crispy as in the restaurant. Definitely my favourite place for chicken wings now.Service was fast and helpful. Food arrived real fast and definitely worth to visit during their lunch time menu (11am to 4pm) to get the best bang for buck. This place brought home cuisine closer to me and I’m satisfied.“
“We had a great experience. The host and server were very polite and gave us updates often when our table is ready. The food was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Hats off to the chefs. We order the sizzling eggplant, sizzling ginger beef and dry pot lamb. Meat was tender and juicy. Food came out pretty fast too. The best thing on their drink menu is their LYCEE SOJU!!! They make their own recipe in house.“
“Delicious food at a great price! Not a lot of seating, so be prepared to have to take your food to go. Had the classic cold noodle and original pork bun. The bread on the bun was flaky and amazing! Greatly enjoyed the entire meal, and with this level of quality at these prices, I will definitely be “
“I really enjoyed my dining experience here. First time and will definitely return. From the food, to the friendly service and very clean environment. The reviews I've read were spot on and accurate. If you love Sichuan and spicy food, this is the place to go in Sauga. I'm a big fan of Sichuan spicy broth and you have the option of four different soup base and pick your own ingredients. We went with the traditional spicy numbing soup and going with mild spicy as recommended by the waitress as even with mild, it is spicier than average. I'm glad we went with their recommendation. Mild is perfect spicy level for me, but for most people who can barely take any heat, even mild might be too spicy. If you can't eat spicy food, then I would suggest choosing their other non-spicy soup base. And btw, the broth was flavourful and tasty! In terms of the ingredients to select from, they charge by weight with minimum 400g at $3.29 per 100g. Meat is extra cost. Our bowl came to over 1.2kg to share between two people, and we finished the entire bowl. The weigh was just right for us. We also ordered lamb skewers and spicy chicken wings. The lamb skewers were well seasoned and tender. They also serve complimentary plum juice instead of water. It is a bit too sweet for my taste, and possibly not for everyone. They do have a selection of drinks that you could order at a cost. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys spicy food.“
“Affordable prices. The oil chili was very tasty, I ate a lot of it and it was the perfect accompaniment to the noodles. Google map address doesn't match the actual one, the real store is on the opposite side of the map, next to bans cake.**5%off if you pay “
“It is a Friday and I was in the mood for some good noodle soup because the weather is a bit chilly today.I just picked up pizza from Pizza Nostra and this restaurant fit the bill because it is on my way home.I have been here before 2-3 years ago if memory serves me correctly. It is a local mom & pop business. So that already scores some points with me.I agree with my fellow reviewers, the food is very well packaged and the portions are quite generous.I chose the Noodle Soup with Beef Sirloin and a BBQ Squid on a skewer.Man, how I miss travelling to Asia and eating these delectable meat and seafood skewers at the night markets. Not to worry, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And we can all travel soon ......There are several components which makes up a really good noodle soup:1) There is the broth2) The noodles3) Assorted Meats / SeafoodThe broth was warm and inviting, The taste, flavour and aroma were an instant hit. I rarely drink or finish the soup/broth, but I slurped it all up until it was gone. It was delicious. The noodles were cooked to perfection with enough bounce on each bite. Unlike overcooked soggy noodles.....YUCK. But not the case here.Man oh man, the beef was heavenly. It was juicy and not dry and packed with flavour. I was expecting the beef to be good but dry ...you know....it is dry when it just gets stuck between your teeth kinda dry and tough.I will say again, this was not the case here. The portion is generous. It may look small, but it will fill you up.The skewer was nice and flavourful. The marinade was bang on with a spicy hit. The squid was not chewy at all, but rather it still had a snap, crackle and pop upon every bite. It was most enjoyable.Update March 2024The service is friendly and efficient. They get 10 stars ?. The beef ? noodles was tasty with a hearty broth. The beef was tender and packed with flavour. The squid and chicken skewers were excellent and satisfying.A+ experience all the way here.Happy eats everyone ?I must return later on to check on the consistency. Please give them a try and let us all now what your thoughts are. This a bases clearing triple into the right field gap !!!“
“Another gem in the GTA! I saw a lot of reviews about this place, so this had to be tried. We ordered the following in our visit:- Chilli Chicken (Less Gravy but normal gravy would be also good)- Crispy Beef- Prawn Pakora (10 pieces)- Hakka Chowmein- Steam Rice (Comes with the gravy)Everything that we ordered was 10/10 and super fresh! The portion sizes were sufficient for at least 2-3 people per dish.Their spice level was a bit on the higher side for chilli chicken, so if you can’t tolerate it, keep a note of that, but it was really tasty.Crispy beef is slightly sweet in taste and crunchy, as the names suggest. This is a must order item on the menu!Prawn pakoras are just pakoras with prawns in them ? so you can literally have any meat, and they’ll taste the same. For those who have had prawn balls from other places, these are different in taste from them, but they’re really tasty. We arrived around 6 pm on the weekend, and it was already packed to the top! So if you plan to visit this place for dinner, arrive early to avoid disappointment. Their staff is really nice and helpful. They took the guest’s number to call them once they had space available.Overall, we had a pleasant time there, and the food is really worth the hype. Must visit spot!Vegetarian options: yes. available.Dietary restrictions: halal friendlyParking: lots of spots in the lotKid-friendliness: noneWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Definitely will be coming again. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Great mixed drinks. We came with staff members to celebrate a birthday. Atmosphere was great. I ordered a martini and it came ablazing...so different anddelightful ?Vegetarian options: Loved the Manchurian eggplant. And the Manchurian gobi was really tasty.Tofu dishes were delicious.Fried rice with veggies was delicious.Loved the noodle dishes.Parking: We parked across the street. Huge plaza parking.“
“This place is a hidden gem. Reason being it is located at the heart of a bunch of auto body shops. Therefore, it is not very inviting. The food is cheaper than other places especially the fried pork and popcorn chicken. Other locations that serve these are nearing the $10 range whereas this one charges just over $5.The seasoning spice can get overwhelming if you smell it for too long. Taste wise, it is great. The noodles were delicious though one of the meats that came in it was fried? Texture might not be great if you serve it in soup.Excellent customer service and consideration. We got only one noodle bowl. Before we asked, the waiter brought 2 smaller bowls for us to share.“
“Awesome food for a great price and quantity. If you don't have an appetite for spicy food make sure you order the mild or no spicy. They have a very good Vegan Ramen option as well, if u r a vegan or vegetarian. Definitely recommend it. It's a cash or debit only place. They offer 10% cash discount too. We ordered 4 dishes and the bill total was only $32.Vegetarian options: Vegan street style Vietnamese Ramen“
“I really like their basic chicken momos (steamed only). They are really delicious especially with the spicy sauce it comes with. The Fish Chilly Dry was also very good - but be aware, its fairly spicy and I'm generally okay with spice.I also LOVE their chicken noodles. They are basic but very delicious.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian items on the menu.“
“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!“
“I like the chicken and salted fish fried rice so much. I can't even stop eating when I'm full. ? It tastes really delicious with this combination ? The price is not bad around $10+tax each.Ordered:- Chicken & salted fish fried rice- General Tao chicken rice“
“I order from here all the time, one of my favourite restaurants. Have tried a lot of the menu and it truly is absolutely delicious. My favourite things to order are their butter chicken and their chicken tikka masala. The service has been amazing and they have even thrown in a free pop in my food from time to time which has made me feel valued and appreciated. My one comment is I wish the naan was actual naan and not roti, but its not really a huge deal to me overall. Definitely recommend this place!Vegetarian options: lots of veg options!“
“I went there once with my family and one of the items we ordered was the Original Rice Noodle Soup. It was very comforting and tasty with all of the different toppings. The other items were very gpod too. Price is also reasonable in my opinion.Parking: Parking is somewhat limited when it is very busy.“
“I went to the restaurant in Karachi, Pakistan, and the food was really good. I expected it to taste just as good, and it did. The service and atmosphere were nice too. It's hard to get a table because it's always busy, so make sure to book a week ahead.“
“If you are used to the usual Cantonese Canadian Chinese food you will find this fare to be ever so slightly more exotic but familiar enough so as not to put you off. The food is tasty and in generous portions. You can take the leftovers home in takeout containers. Very popular restaurant and plaza so you may have a chllange finding parking at peak times. Prices are reasonable and two can dine very heartily for less than $40“
“Hands down the best Chinese takeaway in Mississauga. Delicious food and good portions at an affordable price. They have my orders on file so its nice to be able place an order while driving instead of stopping to find the menu online and then “
“American-style Chinese food. A much more flavorful alternative to conventional fast food. Store ownership has changed a few times, but the superb value (factoring in quality, portion, and pricing) has remained consistent. The best place to check out their menu is their website. Their Combination Dinner ($13 after tax) is a great way to have variety - I ordered Combo #4.Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately the meat is not halal.“
“Yin Ji Chang Fen is a Chinese restaurant that specializes in freshly steamed rice rolls. The food was fresh and hot, very delicious. Some of our favourites were the mushroom rice rolls, Hong Kong style milk tea and the preserved egg with pork congee.Standard standoff service found in most Chinese restaurants, very quick and efficient.“
“I came with friends 5 of us order different menu and all was delicious. We was very enjoy the food also the atmosphere. I been going to different vietnam restaurants in Toronto also other place, so far this restaurant is the best experience I had.“
“Noodles were delicious and chewy. Everything had chili oil but was not too spicy and a slight numbing feel to the tongue that didn't overpower the taste. The dumplings were my favourite dish. They were so fresh and I've never tasted that flavour in du plings before. Taylor swift was on and the singing behind the counter just made the whole restaurant feel warm and cozy. Resonabley priced as well.Kid-friendliness: Has high chairs available“
“Our go to place for wonton noodles in Mississauga. Small place and always crowded but fast service. Wd always order the two toppings lomien. The shrimp wonton is fully loaded with shrimp and soft skin. The beef brisket is soft and tender and very tasty. The egg noodles is aldente. We also always order the crispy fried fish skins. Never fails. Really recommend this place.“
“My first Hot Pot experience, so I have nothing to compare to. Ordered their all you can eat dinner option with a spicy broth. Broth was not my favorite but it's not to say that it was bad, just not my cup of tea. The food I cooked in it turned out really good. They have all kinds of meats and vegetables you can cook. As well as a few precooked dishes. All in all I would recommend a visit whether you are a hot pot expert or just want to try it for the first time.“
“I've been ordering here for years now, and the quality and freshness is always consistent. The chicken balls are the best in Ontario having mostly chicken rather breading, all noodle and chicken dishes are exceptionally tasty. Chicken is always tender and tasty. Spring rolls, chicken balls and chicken wings are always crispy and so fresh tasting. Sometimes when I'm here to pick up my order, i see the lady hand make the spring rolls and the process is fascinating. All other Chinese restaurants I've been to they taste like they're frozen, absolutely no taste just so bland. All of there chicken dishes have good cut in meats, no fat in any meat just purely yummy chicken. Speaking of chicken, general tao chicken, chili chicken and sweet and sour chicken are my top favorite's and a must order! If you're looking for fried rice , I definetly recommend house fried rice, has all of what you need for a very fair price.I was never a fan of seafood, but the seafood Cantonese chow mein changed my mind, the scallops were good size and were sweet tasting, shrimps were very yummy and fresh. If you're looking for noodle dishes, seafood canto chow mein or regular canto chow mein, shanghai house or Cantonese fried noodles are the best, it never disappoints.I've ordered here for many years now, and they never disappoint, so if you're looking for high quality and fresh tasting Chinese food I highly recommend here!Always having fast service and amazing quality food couldn't ask for anything better! They never disappoint!**my fortune's in my fortune cookies have always given me good fortunes here**“
“Excellent food and the people are always friendly. Love the chicken balls (there is actually chicken in them!) and the ginger beef is excellent. Generous portions and high quality ingredients highlight this amazing take-out restaurant. Nice to support local business!“
“This is a relatively new branch of the restaurant. Original restaurant being in Milton. We always enjoy the food from here. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. They always make an effort to meet the customer expectations. It has good seating capacity and the facilities are well maintained.Parking: The plaza has a large parking area shared by all the shops there.“
“Tried Xinjiang food for the first time here and it was amazing. If you have never tried this cuisine, definitely worth coming here to give it a try, it definitely wouldn’t disappoint! Make sure to try their salty milk tea, I can’t recommend this enough as it’s the best type of milk tea I ever had.“
“My friend and I come here every week mostly Fridays and the lady there knows our order. We usually get fried fish and fried rice, tofu with fried rice. I love that she remembers us and always glad to serve us. It’s the most popular here in the plaza.“
“This spot is must try for any foodie that loves spicy northern Chinese food. Great portions for the pricing. All the dishes we ordered were very delicious and full of flavour. The only minor thing they could do is turn the heat up a bit during the winterParking: Parking is located behind the plaza“
“this is one of the best indo chineese in Mississauga with a perfect blend of quality, quantity and price. I prefer this over the other much acclaimed Hakka Rein on Hurratorio st. This seems much better choice for value for money in a nutshell.“
“First off I want to recommend Fantuan, cause it made it insanely cheap to order from here.I got the egg fried rice and stir fried beef and onion. The egg fried rice was very fluffy and good, but the flavour overall tasted like a toasty browned egg. I know people like that, I don't but that's ok. My wife enjoyed it so that's what matters. The egg pieces were large and overdone, I find egg fried rice is best when they're small pieces that are JUST cooked and no more. It also needed salt.4/10 from me 6/10 from my wifeThe stir fried beef and onion was amazing and I'd order it again. Perfect balance of flavour and doneness. Great balance of meat to veg ratio. I really enjoyed it.10/10Would definitely try again and get a different rice.“
“I've been to the Asian grocery store in this plaza called BTrust many times and saw this restaurant but never been in until I searched for hand pulled noodles on Google and this restaurant popped up. There were some mixed reviews which made me hesitant. But my love for noodles took over. So we decided to try it and form our own opinion. So glad we went ! When you walk in there's a gentleman making fresh noodles. So this place has to be good!Modern and clean restaurant. Service was great, the server explained each item to us and the food came super fast. We decided to get 2 types of noodles soup to share since the bowls are huge for $11.99!! We got the mild sliced noodles with beef and the spicy ramen braised beef noodles. The broth for both soup were amazing, so flavourful. We loved the spicy chilli oil at the table and almost used up the whole jar.Our conclusion was that we liked the braised beef better than the sliced beef. The braised beef was so tender and the sliced noodles were thick and chewy. The fresh ramen noodles were great as well but we love thick noodles in general as a preference. We also love the spicy broth, it's not too spicy we had to add more chilli oil.For the bbq dishes we got the lamb skewers and the spicy squid tentacles. The cumin spices were so flavourful and tasty. Grilled to perfection! What a nice surprise, so happy we decided to try this place! It'll be my go to hand pull noodle place to satisfy that craving!!Prices are great for the portion.FYI- they only accept cash or debit no credit cards. Must try and highly recommend!“
“When it comes to food, I often find quality to be inversely proportional to how much effort the restaurant tries to maintain an atmosphere. With that being said, the place holds an effortless and simple style for its decor. That's not a dig at Hakka Spice's aesthetic qualities, but it IS a compliment to the quality of its food. The taste of its dishes are consistent, and good. Prices match up well with the portions; one order of anything can feed 2 without issue. It's always quiet, with a relaxed atmosphere inside the restaurant.Easy recommendation.Dietary restrictions: Halal“
“The food is authentic. It is very flavourful and has strong chinese spices. It's definitely a must try. Love the vibe inside the restaurant. One thing, it is on a pricier side compared to other Chinese restaurants. I would definitely come back again and try other dishes.“
“Food: Affordable and good value for the money. Their BBQ duck was delicious. Fried vermicelli Signapore style was ok too. I prefer friend vermicelli with duck pieces from Mr Congee but the prices at Dynasty BBQ are unbeatable.Service: The lady working there is super nice. If you don't have cash, she'll let you do eTransfer. This place does not take crewasdit cards or debit cards. Be mindful of that.Ambiance: It's a takeout counter in the middle of a food court at some god-forsaken suburban Chinese mall in the middle of some industrial area. Very depressive area but the value for the money you get at this place is solid. Ideal for takeout when you're passing by this area.“
“This is a very underrated Pho place in Mississauga. At first glance it looks like a generic GTA Vietnamese restaurant with Pho in their name along with a double digit number. However, the food is the main attraction. Their Pho are great. Broth is flavored correctly with the right amount of protein and noodles. They have a fairly large menu in which you can order rice and meat dishes. They also offer vegetarian dishes. We come here often as we always order a Pho especially the Special (number 201). The Broken Rice with Pork and Chicken with fried egg is another favorite of ours. We also ordered the Stir-fry Curry Chicken.Service is very efficient but at times cold. They will go out of their way to get you what you asked for. The place decor and booths are okay but it could use a refresher. There’s plenty of free parking available in a busy plaza. There’s no issue in getting a spot. They do take debit and credit but there’s a 10% discount if you pay cash.Recommended!Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian dishes available“
“1st visit, ordered 5 items: chicken with hot sauce, green pea noodles with sichuan sauce and added 2 spring rolls, shredded pork with garlic sauce, fish fillet with sichuan pepper sauce, and mixed beef with with hot sauce. My fav is mixed beef, future could order 2 after buying groceries. The fish fillet, I thought was mid but LN likes it. The spring rolls tasted frozen with freezer burn, so future maybe get a different side (or drink). Shredded pork was good but not as great as I remembered it.2nd visit, ordered 3 items for family of 3: had mixed beef, Dan Dan noodles (came with some ground beef as protein) and a can of coke, and fried Ho fun with beef and xo sauce. All delicious. Didn’t realize I ordered all 3 beef dishes until later, but all tasted good and different textures of the beef dishes. Would order all 3 of these dishes again. Dan Dan noodles were my fav, I love the smooth rice texture of the wheat noodles. Ho fun flat rice noodles tasted good too, fluffier. Both were delicious noodles.“
“Tried this hakka place after recommended by a friend, and totally loved it. According to me, it's probably one of the best hakka eatery among 25-30 hakka place I tried in GTA. Awesome food with almost the taste of Kolkata hakka !!!Highly recommended.“
“Great place for greasy Cantonese food. Friends who live in the area recommended it so we decided to give it a try. We got the Peking duck combo, two orders of turnip cake, green beans and Cantonese chow mein. We also got assorted desserts.Total came out to about $200 for 6 people.Would probably come again but try some of the other stuff. They ran out of the rice noodles while we were there unfortunately.“
“This is the best Mandarin location. At other Mandarins they will occasionally run out of a certain dish and it takes a while to replenish. But here they never run out. They replenish before they run out. Everything is fresh and plentiful. I go here even though I live in Toronto and live near another location.“
