“This is a VINCY restaurant, the food is 5/5, authentic Vincentian stew chicken, the chicken and goat roti was delicious, and the best oxtail I’ve had. “Omg this little gem is indeed a treasure. The owner is so down to earth and very intelligent. I went there to order food for my self and my family. I ended up have quite the conversation with the owner. My wife and son completed they meal which was delicious by the way. “Hidden in north in Mississauga - really happy I found this place!The reviews are legit - the food is excellent!I ordered a large JERK PORK dinner and there was a ton of food!As I had not been there before - I asked the young woman at the counter what she would recommend!It cost me around $18 but you don't think about any of that when you get into the spice of the pork and how well it is worked in, layered and succulent - the bark is just perfect! The rice was light and flavourful and the coleslaw was sooo smooth + slightly sweet and soo complimentary to the rice and pork!The place looks like a local hang out with posters of weekend events and people who quietly go about their business and enjoy the food.Equally there was a steady stream of take out customers as well (perhaps truckers?) as the area has a truck stop and is industrial.This was just a really good meal!Service was good and there is parking around the lot so that is no problem.Really looking forward to go and try other dishes (although I would go back for the pork again!)Check it out if you are in the area!“

“Mr Big ahh what can I say? As a Trini this is my favourite JA restaurant. I usually order the oxtail, it is always delicious, bone nice and soft, gravy very tasty on my rice n peas. Either I am just super friendly ?or the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Young lady at the cash always has a smile on her face. First impression is so important. As a matter of fact I think I am going to order a dinner right now. Just thinking about it got me.“

“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! “Authentic is the accurate way to describe it.As a Trinidadian living abroad their doubles was the most authentic I’ve had outside of T&T and I’ve tried many (and the portions, unbeatable).The dhal, rice and curry shrimp was also tasty.
