“Best doubles I've had in Scarborough. The roti is good too. Love th goat. I get goat doubles at least twice/week there now. Service is always friendly and prompt and the restaurant is always clean and bright. My only complaint is they close at 7pm!!“
“Just got a chance to try out there new location at kennedy and 14th in markham. This location is spacious, with dine in available (limited seating) and free parking. Allow yourself 15-30min for your order. We ordered the jerk chicken poutine, jerk meal with rice and peas (they use basmati rice) with veggies and fried chicken with coleslaw and veggies (coleslaw is the made with vinegar and tastes amazing and tangy!) I love how consistent with the food, hits the spot everytime and staff were eally friendly and welcoming.“
“One of the best Caribbean food in town! The flavour of the jerk chicken is amazing, juicy and spicy. The seasoning they use is mouth watering. Highly recommend you try this hidden spot. The owner is always nice and smiling. My only complaint is the portions are a little small but for the price, you can’t beat it.“

Precise with her orders. I got the Jerk Chicken lunch special & the infamous Oxtail Stuffed Patty. Let’s start with the lunch special. Perfectly seasoned chicken, flavourful rice & creamy coleslaw. A great deal for lunch !!Now for what we came for. The Oxtail Stuffed Patty. Let me tell you how good this thing is, trust me, it’s worth the wait & a staple for this restaurant.A hot, flaky beef patty, with flavourful, tender Oxtail with gravy (it’s not real if you don’t find a bone or two in there) & coleslaw stuffed inside. Wow. Is all I have to say. Please get it, does not disappoint.One thing though, you have to eat the Stuffed Patty right away as the gravy will make it soggy & you don’t want that. The plant-based bbq spare rib was a crowd favourite! The chef and owner, Arnold, is so kind and generous. The customer service experience was incredible. It was such a pleasure having Ital Vital cater to us and I can’t wait to call them back soon!“

We ordered the jerk chicken meal and oxtail meal, along with some spicy/hot sauce and Ting. As well got to try to spiced bread with cheese and it was delicious. “I went to their new location in Hamilton and it was a delight. I tried the tropical wave smoothie and a j*** chicken stuffed patty. The smoothie tasted so fresh and not sugar filled like other places and the stuffed patty was oh so delicious. They also have such a cheerful and upbeat customer service style. This place is a must stop place if you are in the mood for some fresh tropical style drinks and foods.“

“Had lunch at Sunset Caribbean Takeout & Catering and tried out their smoked jerk chicken which came with rice and peas and side coleslaw. I really enjoyed this smoked rendition of jerk chicken and the food overall was very flavorful. Also ordered a beverage which included pineapple, coconut, and flaxseed which was also very tasty. If you are in Scarborough, the East of Toronto, make sure to check out this take out restaurant. They are open 12-8 pm Mon-Fri, 8-8pm Sat. They have lunch specials on weekdays and have recently introduced breakfast Caribbean style on Saturdays too.“

“Not sure if they have new people making the patties but I have been going here for a lot of years and they are not the same. First of all, there was almost no filling and of that filling there was almost no meat, mostly gelatin. Second of all, they were not spicy. I wouldn't even call it mild. Third of all, the patties were way, way too salty. I mean box of salt flavour. Someone must have tipped the salt over by accident because nobody in their right mind would use that much salt. Two of us were driving down the road and couldn't finish them, chucking patties out the car window. It's a real shame and it was a waste of money. The pastry was excellent though and maybe you should back the salt off in that too. I felt sick after for about 1 hour. Ok, new better baker n more meat. Update 2024 : Recently I went back and they have fixed the patties. Just as good as ever. Craving patties and going back again today. Also, that is not my hand in the photo with the werewolf fingernails, that is the driver.“

There is parking in the plaza but always packed and a line up always anytime of the day so give yourself sometime, take out only no dine in, also halal options available.“
