“I'm giving them 5 stars because the owner is a very nice gentleman, and met him during my visit, so I don't want to negatively impact their score, but the jerk is why I went in, and it was alright, definitely not 5 stars. Wish it was a little more spicy, maybe if it had some gravy, but it was dry. Even when I asked for some gravy, the Asian male worker putting together the food watched me like I committed a crime. I wish the owner was there to see, but he went to the back. Which is nuts, because the lady taking orders is very nice, and she even asked if I wanted oxtail gravy, which I said yes. I mean I understand the environment in Oshawa you're trying to attend to, but when your ppl come in, maybe understand we want the real taste, and not the basic standard, and try to accommodate? How much would it put you out for a little more gravy or offer some pepper sauce? Now, I don't know if I'd go back, which sucks, cause I was hoping this place would be it for jerk in Oshawa, as a man from Malvern who knows Alwyns from small. Don't let your staff mess up your brand.“

It has been such a long time that I have been so excited and thrilled with a restaurant, especially with the unique Guyanese flavours that I have not had in years, since my mama passed.2 types of Black Pudding??? WHAT??Yes for many, maybe I have been living under a rock, but to be in a restaurant, bright, spacious, clean environment, followed by old school soca music (I would have screamed if I heard 'King Turbo'....Listen, plenty food on my wife's plate for the Palm Court Special Fried Noodles. Nothing but the best service from owners, to waitress.Then to top off my lunch to meet the Guyanese Chinese Cook! “We ordered delivery so I can't speak for the atmosphere.We bought three large orders of: Jerk Chicken Dinner, Oxtail Dinner and Curry Goat to share as a family for dinner. The portions were generous, definitely enough food for three of us. They came with coleslaw, rice and peas and hot sauce. The flavour of the oxtail was delicious. The jerk chicken was very good, much saucier than I'm used to but very flavourful and the meat falls off the bone. The goat was good too. I have absolutely no complaints about it, but in my opinion the oxtail and chicken were the tastiest of these dishes. We will absolutely order from here again.“
“We had a birthday party here for my Dad and I cannot speak more highly about the staff. They were all so attentive and kind. The food was great and the service to accommodate us was amazing. The space was perfect for our event. I definately recommend checking this restaurant out!“
“As soon as we walking into the Oshawa Markets we could smell Reggae spot. The ladies there were so nice. Had the friendliest smiles and great service. The portions are a good size and they load up the containers to the top. The prices are good for what you’re getting. Stew chicken was falling off the bone was so nice and the oxtail was good too. Tasted like a nice home cooked meal“
