“THIS REVIEW IS FROM A CAN/JAM, so I know the food/ culture and what to expect.

This is my first time coming to the restaurant, even after the fact that I've passed by many times and have contemplated. Well, Today was the day. I went in and ordered a large jerk chicken with festivals. Now I prefer my festivals long and crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. These ones are more like knots but they were still very good. The jerk chicken is what attracted me to the place. The guy cooking the chicken on the barbecue caught my interest immediately. The jerk is really good. It's not extremely spicy, could even be a little bit more but it's still very very good, especially when good jerk is hard to find. I would definitely come back and definitely recommend this place. On top of that the owner is so hospitable and welcoming. It's a place that has alcohol so if you drink and you want to have a bar type atmosphere they have that as well. You can go and play dominoes at the back with the men and it's not overcrowded. Very spacious. I can't wait to go back for some fried Chicken and try some of the other stuff on the menu.

“I came here this week with my fiancé, I love the diner vibe, it’s so authentic all original classic diner style. The owner and staff are amazing, friendly and attentive. We had the goat roti and the jerk chicken roti and they were massive! The roti were both bursting with flavour, their pepper sauce kicks up the flavour beautifully. We had some drinks with our meal and also got a dish of jerk chicken with rice to go. You can’t beat the prices either, very good value!“

“Only good part of staying at the est hotel is being walking distance to this place. I'm from Saskatchewan and after two days in down town Toronto being surrounded by swifties including my wife who went to the show tonight. Being able to walk to a small local place for a beer was a breath of fresh air. Didn't have any food, but the atmosphere is awesome similar to a small town bar and people seemed to be enjoying their meals and all smiling.“

“I've had rotti from every shop in Etobicoke and by a wide margin Ducky's outshines the rest. I typically get the goat rotti and they always stew it to perfection. I've never described anything like this before, but it's a ballet of flavours: harmonious, and built upon foundations of hard work and authenticity. It's a god damn good rotti. Also: get a bunch of their doubles and give them to your friends they will thank you.“

The portions were amazing and everything tasted great! For some it might be on the salty side, but personally with rice and noodles, everything tasted good! The price is justified in my opinion . The fried rice was my favorite, I highly recommend !!!“
