“Only good part of staying at the est hotel is being walking distance to this place. I'm from Saskatchewan and after two days in down town Toronto being surrounded by swifties including my wife who went to the show tonight. Being able to walk to a small local place for a beer was a breath of fresh air. Didn't have any food, but the atmosphere is awesome similar to a small town bar and people seemed to be enjoying their meals and all smiling.“

“Finally came in to try after passing by so many times. Inside, there’s two seating areas, a take out stand, they have robots that bring your food.

We ordered the platter for two, it came with samosa, soup, mango juice, salad, choice of pasta or rice & 2 meat options. We opted to try both chicken and beef stew with rice. For starters, The beef samosa was absolutely delicious, it was paired with a green spicy sauce. The soup was light, but flavourful. I have to say the beef stew was my favourite, it was flavourful and the meat was tender.

The service was great. It was a chilly in there, the only criticism would be that it could use some personal touches, the restaurant itself seems a little bare. But the food made up for it.

My go to is the pounded yam and egusi, if you're like me and this is your favorite food, you won't be disappointed.

I had black soup for the first time, the soup was super tasty and remained hot in the native bowl the entire time!!!My husband had oha and loved it. “I'm a Caribbean girl, I can't remember if I've ever had Nigerian food. However, I kept seeing pepper soup on my Pinterest and as an avid Nigerian movie fan I was motivated to try it. I had no clue what to expect but It looked so good online I had to find it . I searched a Nigerian restaurant near me and found this hidden gem and guess what ? They had pepper soup with assorted meat. Anyways I ordered some pepper soup and let me tell you that I am in loveeeeeeeeee!! Don't get me wrong it's so spicy and I couldn't finish it in a day but I loved every bit of it. I haven't tried the other dishes but I'll recommend the pepper soup over and over again.“

“This is the most affordable Nigerian meal I’ve had since getting to Canada. I got the small gizzard with a side of Jollof rice and extra plantain. It was a good meal and I was soo full. It is a good enough portion if you’re someone who doesn’t have a large appetite. The interior was pretty nice. My friend and I had a lovely night. There was a man at the bar area when we got in and then a lady from the kitchen who attended to us and they were both soo nice!“

The food is very well packed, I picked up it and travel back to Oakville, and not even a drip was leaked out! ? I'm a Chinese but this African food is surprisingly tasty ?, and healthy. I'm a big fan of Chinese style of yam since younger, and I found the African style is same delicious. And the soup, or in Chinese's idea, that is more like dish, contains sea food, beef, mutton and chicken.

Only downside is, even it described as mild, it is very spicy for me . I'm the type of guy who barely eat spicy food (not because of culture but personal experiences), But that doesn't stop me to finish everything and left an empty bowl. (I eat with chopsticks, and it feels special as well.)“

I understand that the intention might be to create a relaxing environment, but I think it could be a little brighter. If you're not dining in, it won't be an issue, though.
