“as a pakistani i never tried somali food but i have to tell you this place has some of the best goat i have ever tried, you dont need any sauce anything for their meat, its flavourful salty and just really good in general. its super soft aswell, its like a better tastier fattier version of brisket. the goat is the best option. for food like that in toronto it would be like 50$ a plate, yet there its like 20-24$ max. atmosphere is decent depends on what day you go/times ive went twice the one at night. The night is more packed and nice, but its a calm collected atmosphere. Service was alright the workers are nice and professional.“

“Lately I’ve been really into egusi soup, and this spot was pretty tasty overall. The egusi itself had good flavour, although it was a little heavier on the palm oil than I personally prefer. It still tasted good, but a slightly lighter touch would have made it even better.

The assorted meat stew on top was extremely spicy. I can usually handle spice and enjoy peppery food, but this one was a bit overpowering and ended up taking away from the overall experience for me since it overshadowed the flavour of the egusi.

That being said, the portion size was great and very filling. It is a bit on the pricier side when ordering through Uber, but you do get a generous amount of food, so it can still feel worth it depending on what you are looking for.“

“I was here like two weeks ago, I have some disabilities but the lady was very kind to me and my mother even giving us extra! The food was amazing, best I’ve tried so far, thank you guys very much, I will try and order again today :)“

“We have a Nando’s much closer to us in Heartland, but we consistently make the extra drive to the Dixie and Eglinton location because of the exceptional service.

Pauline, the manager, always goes out of her way to make sure we have a great experience, and she is a big reason we continue to return. The food is consistently excellent, but the level of service here truly sets this location apart.“

“Excellent experience. I'm not sure why there are many recent complaints about this establishment. Food is somewhat pricey but it is worth the quality that it delivers. I live in the States, travel quite often to other cities, and this spot is definitely top tier on my list. Keep up the good work and God bless!“
