“We tried their food at the just-concluded Afro Vibes Festival in Kitchener, and honestly, everything was a hit! We had the Abula, shrimp coconut rice, peppered turkey, chicken, jollof rice, and suya, and everything tasted really good. The food was flavorful, well prepared, and definitely worth it. They were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the food and service were a solid 10/10. I highly recommend visiting their restaurant in Mississauga!“

“Lately I’ve been really into egusi soup, and this spot was pretty tasty overall. The egusi itself had good flavour, although it was a little heavier on the palm oil than I personally prefer. It still tasted good, but a slightly lighter touch would have made it even better.

The assorted meat stew on top was extremely spicy. I can usually handle spice and enjoy peppery food, but this one was a bit overpowering and ended up taking away from the overall experience for me since it overshadowed the flavour of the egusi.

That being said, the portion size was great and very filling. It is a bit on the pricier side when ordering through Uber, but you do get a generous amount of food, so it can still feel worth it depending on what you are looking for.“

“Excellent experience. I'm not sure why there are many recent complaints about this establishment. Food is somewhat pricey but it is worth the quality that it delivers. I live in the States, travel quite often to other cities, and this spot is definitely top tier on my list. Keep up the good work and God bless!“

“Food was excellent, I ordered the Jollof Suya combo. Great portion size and great flavour. Plantain was cooked perfectly. Must come try.

“We were visiting Toronto, so I pre-booked a special meal for my husband to surprise him, something he had not eaten in 9 years - real pounded yam. The sound of the mortar and pestle, like music to his ears! The food was amazing, vegetable on-point! He was so pleased, he didn't eat anything else that day.
The staff were very pleasant, chef Made also visited our table while we enjoyed the meal. It was worth every dime. Thank you, we will surely be visiting again.
