“First time trying Somali food and was pleasantly surprised. They didn’t have the lamb which was a bummer but the goat was still good. Large portion size with salad / soup and a juice. Restaurant is clean and inviting, give it a go if you’re looking for something new.“

He even brought my friend soup with his fufu as it’s how traditionally eaten! The food was so flavorful and filling and they even had vegetarian/vegan options! “Greelz on Bloor is more than amazing...it is fantastic. I ordered the beef suya joloff bowl and it was delicious, the flavour is flavourful.....literally a fusion in my mouth with every bite. I also ordered a side of plantine as well, the plantine was ripe and soft...just the way I like it.

The customer service was superb! Chef Tee and his team were very nice. And the beautiful lady who served me was very hospitable.

I came all the way from Mississauga Ontario, it was worth the trip, and it was also worth the price. Greelz is hands down the best Nigerian food restaurant in Toronto and in the GTA!“

“This was my first time trying Nigerian cuisine and I was blown away by the delicious food! Service was super friendly and accommodating as well. We started with the chicken wings tossed in hot honey with yaaji spice (ginger peanut bbq rub) -super crisp and juicy! We ordered spicy which was the perfect balance of heat and flavor. My favorite dish was the egusi and greens! My Nigerian friend ordered the pounded yam for me to eat the soup with. It’s like a thicker mashed potato, fresh and an excellent compliment to the savory soup! The soup was chock full of chicken and seasonings I couldn’t quite place, bold and savory flavor! We also ordered the cauliflower in a peanut sauce-perfectly fried and great to eat with the wings! My partner ordered the party jollof rice-delicious almost barbaque flavored rice layered with flavors of a seafood and sweet spice stock 😋 And the slow and plantains were the perfect accompaniments! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for delicious food with lots of heart poured into it.“

“I was surprised to find great Ethiopian food near me. The lady running the stall was so nice. I just asked if they had a combo, and this is what she gave me. Four veggie dishes, all super flavorful. Also a TON of injera, I have a big appetite, and I couldn't finish it! Please go support them!“

I would say it does take time but the food it so fresh the meat is tender I would say 10/10 and worth the wait. I just wish they had more soft drink options online“
