It was an amazing experience, it's my first time to try African food and it didn't disaapoint me. I've ordered the roasted goat with bed of rice and salad. My tummy was full after that meal; the service was fast and I was able to got my order right away. Definitely recommended to visit!
One of the most comforting meals I’ve ever had and the nicest staff alive. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town

Hamdi Restaurant Somali Cuisine offers a welcoming dining experience with friendly and polite staff, making it a great spot for families with kids. The restaurant features a large parking lot and provides complimentary mango juice, salad, and lentil soup. The menu includes a variety of dishes, such as roasted goat platter and chicken with dark meat, with generous portions that can easily feed 4-5 people. Customers have enjoyed the authentic Somali flavors, especially the large shared sunnah platters with rice and pasta with drumsticks and goat, which are worth the trip. While the food is exceptional, some guests noted that the lack of air conditioning made the experience uncomfortable on warm evenings, and the restroom does not have a baby changing station. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant's inclusion of a prayer room shows its effort to accommodate diverse needs. Overall, the delicious food and generous portions make Hamdi Restaurant Somali Cuisine a recommended place for those wanting to explore Somali culinary traditions.
