“A delicious Jamaican meal for $10? Mind. Blown.

This unassuming little diner may be my new favorite restaurant. It's a hidden gem in the Concord warehouse district.

I ordered the daily special, with a 1L bottle of pop and taxes, the total came out to just under $15. The food was delicious and fresh, and the hostess was ridiculously friendly and engaging.“

“I’ve tried Caribbean food at several different restaurants and chains, but I keep coming back to Emily’s Palace. In my opinion, it is by far the best Caribbean spot around, especially when it comes to their jerk chicken meal. My go-to order is the boneless jerk chicken with rice and peas, paired with oxtail gravy on the side. The flavor is incredible, and they are always generous with their portion sizes, regardless of which size you pay for. Plus, their coleslaw is absolutely to die for—I can never get enough of it! Highly recommend checking them out if you want fantastic food and great value. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work!“

“The place is exceptionally clean..the girls wash their hands religiously. Ì never neen to a Jamaican restaurant so clean and these girls are so clean and really nice. They price is a little high but worth every penny as they handle the food really well and its fresh ,always washing their hands and an exceptionally clean place .“

Delicious food. Grabbed the stew chicken with steamed veggies and rice and peas lunch special. Service was great and quick. Walked to a near by park to eat as the 2 tables inside were occupied. Will be back again“

“The (spicy) chana roti was delicious, it wasn’t very spicy. The girl behind the counter taking orders was courteous and friendly. It was not busy when I was there so I didn’t wait long for the food since the roti fillings were already cooked and just needed to be wrapped in the roti flatbread. Customers order and pay for food at the counter for either takeout or eat in the restaurant.“

“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! “I ordered the large fried chicken with oxtail three days ago and I’m still dreaming about it lol. Definitely a treat at $22—not something I’d do all the time, but worth it.
Yes, the oxtail had a lot of bones, but I prefer that over overly fatty, cloying pieces, and the flavour was excellent. The fried chicken was perfection—not too breaded or over-seasoned.
There were about six customers ahead of me, and I still got my food in under 10 minutes. Easily one of the best spots in the city.“

I've only had Caribbean food from a few places before but this place is easily the best goat curry I've had. The portion size is good for the price and I can confidently say the rice is 10/10.“

Everything is ready so if you are working in the area, you won’t spend your lunch hour waiting for your food. just make sure you get in before 2-3 or else you’ll be outta luck for wings! #1 spot in the Jane and Shoreham area.“

Got crispy chicken wings and chicken fried rice.
The fried rice was decent and good amd tasted a bit similar to tandoori chicken, but was filling.
The wings is were crispy and good, however I have had better in Toronto in terms of seasoning.
I will be back to try other dishes check them out if you like your Caribbean food.“

“I had such a great experience here. The customer service was amazing from the moment we walked in. The food was authentic and honestly some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had in a while.

The rice and peas were rich and perfectly seasoned. The fish was made fresh to order, which took about 20 minutes since it wasn’t on the daily menu, but it was absolutely worth the wait. It was fresh, well seasoned, and cooked perfectly.

The oxtail was outstanding — well seasoned, tender, and literally falling off the bone. It was so good it makes you want to chew the bone.

The pasta salad was perfect, and the coleslaw was just as good — fresh, creamy, and balanced everything nicely.

Overall, amazing food, authentic flavours , and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back.“
