“Great staff, cheap decent food. However the name says Caribbean but being from Barbados and travelled throughout the islands. I can say it is just food. Need to remove the Caribbean part. Not one thing authentic from the Caribbean.But that being said decent quality food just not what it says it is“

“Went to have lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Food was flavourful and the portions were extremely generous. The customer service was great - they even let me sample one of the meats before deciding on my order.
I ordered the curry chicken bowl — the chicken was perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw was a nice refreshing touch to the bowl. The corn and pineapple salsa was also a nice sweet touch.

“A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!“

“The owner is nice and personable. Food is so good. I recommend the fish. They’ve started karaoke on Wednesdays and having a DJ on Fridays. When no DJ is playing, juke box is there at your disposal. Great vibes, cheap drinks with pool table. Definitely recommend.“

I went at 10 pm and didn’t leave until 1 am. The dj and vibes were 100/10. The music was from reggae, afrobeats to dancehall. It was a good variety of everything. Any and everything no one couldn’t dance too. As a Indo West Indian, very much enjoyed my time. I had read the reviews prior to attending and I had read there was an entrance fee as a “regular club”; I very much appreciate to know this that I was safe; with security at the entrance. I am very much surprised there is not much marketing being done as I found this place by word of mouth.The prices as very much lower than the major restaurants/ bars when it came to alcohol. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly. Overall great experience would recommend this place on a Saturday night and look forward to visiting in the future. Highly recommended to any and everyone who is trying to stay local and cost efficient.“

“This was a really great discovery. The Hot Pot reminded me of my Jamaican vacations and getting street food.
The food was DELICIOUS....so tender and tasty.
Would definitely recommend them.
Unfortunately I have awful sinus and mild asthma so the smoke caused sight irritation however the service was great, the portions were good, people were orderly and it was a really nice time. Simple, non-pretentious, non-complicated little spot.

Good amount of saucy channa, while the bara is on the thinner side. Lot of turmeric and good flavor.

The oxtail was the highlight – slightly sweet but bursting with rich flavour and tenderness. Typical Jamaican restaurant menu with a few unique items and custom drinks. The food was average tasting and well presented. I was educated about the history and how the restaurant was established which was enjoyable. “Sometimes the food is okay but it's a hit or miss. Recently bought a curried goat & Rice dinner Recently, it had too much gravey and the meat seemed as if they scraped the bottom of the pot. Sometimes the food is very salty and customer experience needs to be improved. Being courteous and pleasant goes a long way.“

“Orlando’ restaurant is a great place if you are looking for authentic, top quality Jamaican cuisine. So far i have been there twice, first time had the oxtail and this time the curry goat. Both times were excellent!!! Today had the added bonus of meeting both Mr. and Mrs Orlando and let me say they are a delight, not only because the make great food but we had a very enjoyable conversation.
