“Got a porridge I didn’t know I needed! Cornmeal porridge that’s so good! I really went for some Ackee and saltfish and fried dumplings, but they gave a small cornmeal porridge which I decided to try first and it so good I’m writing this in between spoonfuls. The food there is good and reasonably priced, service is great!“

“I recently tried Bakers Jerk House and was blown away by the flavors! The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of heat and smokiness. The rice and peas paired beautifully with the rich and tender oxtail curry, which was simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The pasta salads were a refreshing and flavorful addition to the meal. “I visited this location a few times and dealt with one of the ladies on the front name Kashi. She always serve with a smile and makes the food very presentable.  I had a small event and needed some food and although they were not yet opened she made an effort to get it ready. Was pleased for a nice Caribbean restaurant with such excellent service.“

“Food was good, oxtail had plenty meat on the bone, fried chicken felt a bit under seasoned, rice a bit dry, but I went later in the evening so maybe would be different first thing in the day. Got the beet and ginger juice which was great. Service lovely and place looks clean and organized.“

“Came here for a quick bite, and was pleasantly surprised with some delicious doubles. The doubles are cooked to perfection and the tamarind sauce and hot sauce just take it over the top.

But alongside the delicious, flavourful quick bite what sets them apart is the homey feel, and the amazing Caribbean hospitality by those serving us.

“Purchased meat on Saturday July 15,2023 in the evening. This is how it looked. Before the owner chimes on here we left the store and headed straight home! And refrigerated it too cook the following day. The meat smelt foul and looked gray. This is not the only time this had happened, we have purchasee minced beef there and same thing it was spoilt ONE DAY AFTER with Proper Storage. I find it funny as well they have a sign saying they take no responsibility for spoilt meat! You are selling spoilt meat! Along with what seems to be there poor quality of meat, pre-pandemic their prices were overpriced now post-pandemic prices are through the roof! The female worker also has a chip on her shoulder! Seems like asking her questions is bothering her and always responds rudely. I think I will start back heading to mississauga FH MultiFoods where they have halal meat and west indian grocers and are always friendly and willing to help and meat quality is A+.“

“I was driving around looking for a new lunch spot and decided to try Caribbean Flavors on a whim, without checking any reviews first. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The rice was perfectly cooked—moist and not dry at all—and the chicken was crispy and well-seasoned. This definitely beats many fried rice spots in my book. The atmosphere inside was great, with comfortable seating and good music playing. I highly recommend this place for lunch!“

“This is the fifth visit, but the best food visit, over two years. Lucky for me the cook/chef was in, and I asked questions. He did a good job with fresh ingredients to the sauces, and it was second time I had gizzards in 10 years, the last time was in Erie County. You could tell the sauce blend prior to serving, much better experience than before, which was average. Congrats and thank you!! we had shrimp wontons, roast pork, char sui pork (which was a version) and pepper gizzards. I even showed him a pic of the 14lb roast I left in the oven that day and checking in on....8hr roast. Just make sure the young cook/chef is in when you dine. Thanks again chef....“

“Our family has been going here for 20+years. Family run business, owners are great, treat us like family. Food is always fresh, whether we pre-order or drop in. it always taste the same, consistent for 20+years. “Omg I walked to the bar, owner, cook manager Idk who he was come out asked what I wanted! Since I've never tried anything Caribbean before I asked him for a recommendation for breakfast and he gave me the saltfish and yam and plantain omg ong omg I went home and devoured it!!!!!! “This is our third time going to Rose's kitchen and we love the food.

Tonight we had my stepdaughter who is Autistic and has a very limited palate to try jerk chicken and rice and peas with gravy on the side.

We lemme tell you, she at the chicken first and really enjoyed it so yay!

Then she tried the rice and peas and as she was trying it I said mix some oxtail gravy with it and it will be out of this world. We'll lemme tell you, she said no one else gets any more rice and peas with gravy.

“I come every now and then with my dad. This was one of the first places I ever had j*** chicken before and it’s pretty consistent with the taste. They give you a lot of rice and the veggies are a nice balance to the overall dish. Sometimes you get some pretty bony pieces and the gravy isn’t as thick but all in all, one of my favourite places in Brampton to stop when I get the craving. Friendly staff and family.“
