“This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. It's a very trendy place with good food and music. What I noticed was that people from the West Indies and Jamaica are very chill social people. I ordered chick peas with a parantha. That parantha weighed at least a few pounds. It took an artist chef to make it. I also ordered plantain side dish. It tastes fantastic. I encourage people to visit this establishment. Also when it was time to pay, the waitress said if we pay cash she would give us doubles.

“This place has some amazing food. Curry chicken was on point and the buss up shut Roti was some of the best. I gave it four out of five stars because the one thing missing from this place is they don’t have any desserts to go with your meal. They should have some kind of West Indian sweets and this place would be a 5“

“I got dinner for 2, me and a Jamaican friend, on the recommendation of another Jamaican, and ran into an old friend in the parking lot, going here - another Jamaican. My friend and I had a fantastic meal that he said was among the best and freshest he'd had. In short - real Caribbean food, done really well. I will get it again.“

“Purchased meat on Saturday July 15,2023 in the evening. This is how it looked. Before the owner chimes on here we left the store and headed straight home! And refrigerated it too cook the following day. The meat smelt foul and looked gray. This is not the only time this had happened, we have purchasee minced beef there and same thing it was spoilt ONE DAY AFTER with Proper Storage. I find it funny as well they have a sign saying they take no responsibility for spoilt meat! You are selling spoilt meat! Along with what seems to be there poor quality of meat, pre-pandemic their prices were overpriced now post-pandemic prices are through the roof! The female worker also has a chip on her shoulder! Seems like asking her questions is bothering her and always responds rudely. I think I will start back heading to mississauga FH MultiFoods where they have halal meat and west indian grocers and are always friendly and willing to help and meat quality is A+.“

“First time visiting this location as our normal spot was closed. We arrive in late afternoon to order our food as the phones were not being answered. Right away we could order, they were calm and polite even though extremely busy. After ordering, we paid with cash which got us some free chicken wings. FYI try the bbq chicken wings, freaking amazing. Thank you guys for the wonderful food, bye bye old spot. Coconut Breeze is now out spot.“

“I cannot recommend this restaurant more. I ordered catering for an event yesterday for 30+ people. I ordered a large jerk chicken, a large rice and peas, and a small chickpea and potato curry. They also surprised us with a side of coleslaw as well!

I spoke to Charmaine, who was absolutely lovely and made the entire process so easy!

For so many of my family and friends, it was their first time trying jamaican cuisine and they truly enjoyed the food. I have been getting calls all morning from folks who attended the event to highlight how delicious it was and asking about portland jerk!
