“We were looking for a quick place to grab lunch in this plaza while our car charged. It is definitely a hidden gem. I rarely enjoy a restaurant enough to want to post about it everywhere.

We love the atmosphere - so homey and comfortable. The decor is very cute.

We arrived on a Saturday so it was a full house - seating about five tables? But service was friendly and fast. The chef brought out most of the dishes herself, which I think is so intimate and refreshing. I very rarely see that.

My food was great as well! I highly recommend their signature noodle with beef sauce (what I got) and garlic broccoli on the side. We’ll be coming here again :)“

“Great food flavor, reminds me of my childhood where you go to family owned eatery thinking one dish will be enough and then you ask for more. “I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, and the food is outstanding. That’s all that matters to me is the quality the taste as well as these people have been here for many many years and this place if you don’t know is a hidden gem in the neighbourhood. The fact that there’s so many 1/5 over the fact that people are not “excited to pick up your phone”, call is absolutely ridiculous. I highly recommend this place. “I've ordered from Uber eats and also by takeout my mom and I like the mushroom egg foo yong, thick beef noodles, Singapore noodles. Some dishes are a hit and miss. For take out I ordered the daily special beef and broccoli. I am really disappointed, it had no sauce 4 pieces of beef and the rice was hard . The wonton soup and chicken noodle soup was just ok. This place has good portions and the price is reasonable. I'll order again but will stick to the dishes that I like.“

“Far east was a childhood treat growing up, I have very fond memories eating far east on my Mickey Mouse tablecloth my mom use to put on the floor and we use to all just sit around and eat on the floor in the living room. Some of the reviews made me feel weary about giving them a go but my inner child said no Milka go with your gut and I’m glad I did. There were two main things I loved from there as a kid. The chicken balls and the Cantonese chow mein. So i got the s&s chicken balls dinner with rice and an order and Cantonese chow mein with no beef and my goodness the smell brought me back to being 8 years old I could wait to get home. Everything tasted just how I remembered. Nostalgia with every bite. Yes the store front hasn’t changed in forever but there is something about the grunge I like. Oh today is a monday and it is listed that they are closed but they were very much open just give them a call ahead of time to make sure.“
