“The food and service at Tandoor Tikka lounge is amazing!“

“Was thinking about taking the fam (2 adults, 2 kids under 12) to the mandarin for dinner. Because the weather I was convinced to order take out instead.

We tried Yong's for the first time. I set my limit at $100 as that was still 50 bucks less than mandarin would've cost us. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

The menu was stacked with options. I chose my mandarin favourites and the 2 items the kids actually eat.. So we got a ton of food, and I'll have lunches for days. The flavour was on point for everything and the portions were excellent.

Pepper steak slices were a bit big for my liking but the flavour was fantastic.

Will definitely be back for our next 'take out' family dinner night.

“Holy smokes that was good. I can't believe I haven't tried this place yet.

Everything...the spring roll, the sauce for the spring roll, the pumpkin soup and the chicken + shrimp Pad Thai was delicious (lunch special takeout).

Considering it came in a takeout box as well the presentation was actually impressive. Price is right as well. For just over $20 you get a lot of meat and food in general, I pretty much get two meals out of it.

“On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, I had lunch at the Mandarin Brampton West Restaurant (Fletchers Creek), with three of my senior friends. The restaurant was packed with celebrating, graduating students. We did not have a reservation, but they graciously accommodated us. Their chairs are low and have no arm rests. I use a walker as I have a back problem which results in mobility restrictions and once seated in the chair, was unable to stand up without considerable effort. When our table’s server noticed this, she tried to find a more suitable chair for me. The Managing Partner, Liana Zheng, got personally involved and fetched a chair with arms and a higher seat, for me to use! Later, when I used the clean, well-appointed, accessible washroom, a staff member discretely, stood outside to ensure that I was not in need of any assistance. The staff’s concentrated efforts to help a disabled old lady, was really appreciated! Even though they were so busy, they treated me with respect and like a valued customer not a burden. Bless them all! The reason we go to the Mandarin is because of the consistently delicious, good quality and variety of their buffet food. From now on, I will go there also because of how well I was treated. I highly recommend this restaurant to all seniors!“

“Today my family and I decided to try “noodles to go” after we were recommended this place by extended family. To start the experience my family and I are allergic to nuts, and the kind lady over the phone assured us that the staff will be cautious so long as we let them know before the order. After arriving to the location, we were greeted by the same amazing lady who answered our questions over the phone.

There are plenty of realistic photos of what you will be getting which makes ordering simple and easy not to mention very appetizing as I was drawn to the chili chicken. We ordered fried rice, noodles, chicken wings, general Tao chicken and fried squid and all items were amazing that we ordered. The portion sizes were big and worth every cent and the taste matches that and more. This place’s hospitality and generosity is amazing and I will be going back. 10/10 would recommend“

“Update Nov 9/25: Ruby never ceases to amaze me! Just when you thought all wonton soups are the same, I just tried their small takeout portion and OMG this is the best wonton soup and there's no close second! I've never seen wontons so huge with so much meat in them! Even cutting the wonton in half I couldn't fit the half in my mouth! And the best part is that in addition to the pork wonton there were also chunks of sliced pork mixed in with the broth! The ratio of wonton and pork to soup base was easily 90% meat and 10% soup! Look at the photos I just added and see for yourself! ----------- Original review: We decided to come this restaurant for my birthday this past Monday on a recommendation from my neighbor. WOW we made a great choice! Not sure what some of the negative reviewers were expecting, but our entire experience was perfection! Dine-in: Yes we knew ahead of time this restaurant was mostly take-out, but they still have dine-in, and sure it's not a 5-star seating experience, but if that's what you want, then go pay 100x more an an upscale restaurant. Growing up in NYC, the dine-in experience here reminded me of almost every Chinese restaurant on Canal Street (Chinatown in lower Manhattan) - very authentic, where the focus is on the food and service, not the seating and decor, so we all actually enjoyed the atmosphere. Food: There were 4 of us (all very big eaters and starving) so we ordered the "Dinner for Four Q" special: 4 egg rolls, chicken fried rice, chicken Chow Mein, beef with broccoli, sweet & sour chicken balls and breaded jumbo shrimp PLUS the lemon chicken (highly recommended by my neighbor). WOW was the food outstanding! HUGE portions (we were using the other tables to place the food trays) and all very tasty and authentic! The chicken balls were 90-95% mostly tender juicy meat (not mostly breading like other places), and the lemon chicken was the best I've ever had (trust me, I've tried hundreds from other restaurants) and they did not hold back on the sauce - half the container box filled with it, of which was spectacular, not tasteless and overly tangy like other sauces)! We were all stuffed and every single dish we ordered was still at least half full! Today is Friday and I'm still enjoying left-overs! (since it was my b-day I took most of the leftovers ;p) Service: All the food came piping hot and fresh very fast! Ruby was a ray of sunshine full of joy, constantly smiling, making sure we had everything we needed, and even cracking a few jokes during our festivities. She even re-packaged all the leftovers in bags without us even having to ask! For our first time dining at this restaurant all of us meeting up coming from Toronto, London and Guelph for my birthday, we are so glad we chose this restaurant, and will all be making the trek back (individually and collectively) to this restaurant, as everything was PERFECTION! “I added an order note asking for something I couldn’t see on the menu and rather than ignoring it they wrote a note back explaining they didn’t have it, I appreciated there effort most places would just simply ignore it.I ordered the meal for 1, curried sauce and beef satay.Beef satay was really good and the curried sauce too!Meal for one is great value for money.“
