However it was 2PM when we arrived (quiet time) and so they set a table up just for us!We've been going to House of Buddha for almost 50 years! We don't live nearby anymore so visits have been sporadic over the last 20 years.All of the food was hot and delicious just like our many memories!“
“We were out in Brampton to see my doctor and decided to grab Chinese last minute, we went here it was the closest one and oh my god do I wish they were closer to us! Not only did they give us more food then what we even ordered, the food was AMAZING!!! I would suggest ordering here very nice workers and amazing service. We will drive the 2 hours just to come back here!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian dishes were delicious, normally Chinese places seem to half fast the vegetarian food choices but here I felt like I could actually get whatever I was craving and not worry about meat being in it.Dietary restrictions: There were very accommodating with our food requests my fiancé is lactose intolerant and I am vegetarian they helped very nicely with that“

“A truly Hakka Chinese place that offers quality and quantity food for a reasonable price.I am a regular customer here because the food brings me back everytime.Have not tried a ton of things but my usual is veg Hakka noodles or egg Hakka noodles and the quantity is great!! Two adults can easily satisfy their hunger in one serving of the noodles.Other items tried and good are - Chilli chicken Dry, chilli Paneer dry, veg Manchurian balls in gravy ( which is really soft ) which is served with some steamed/boiled white rice, chilli mushrooms dry, steamed chicken Momo's, friend veg/chicken Momo's in schezuan sauce which are spicy but great and manchow soup.Their veg fried rice is OK but I felt rice undercooked when ordered once.Staff is limited to one person at the counter and then cooking staff in kitchen. Staff is courteous and polite. Their seating is not open in restaurant so its a take-away order always.Do tell them to make things less spicy or non spicy if ordering for your toddler children who don't eat spicy food.If I compare them to restaurants blike - Dalchini, Hakkalicious and Indolicious for Hakka Chinese food-Qty wise its more than those Hakkalicious or Indolicious outlets but similar to minor less than Dalchini.Taste wise its an minor edge better than all of them.Their Indian food I haven't tried and not sure what all is available so no comments on that.Overall a 4 Star for Hakka Chinese food.“

“I don't know what kind of crack cocaine is in their dumplings but they should be ILLEGAL! They are SO GOOD! I had them for the first time last week and i couldnt stop thinking about them! “We moved to Brampton back in 1989 and this was the first Chinese food we ordered after moving in, and it’s been our favourite take out Chinese food ever since. Over all great service and yummy favourites, everyone’s taste is different so take the negative reviews with a grain of salt, some people get their undies in a bunch because ONE time one dish wasn’t great or they forgot something, their kids was sad boohoo. The McDonalds on Sandalwood Pkwy almost guaranteed will forget an item or two fromyour order lol, so these guys aren’t doing too bad I’d say. Different owners now from the original ones back in the day but same great taste. I have the phone number memorized now, and they even remembered what I ordered back in the day when I went there weekly lol. Sadly I don’t get to go there that often, but I still love the food when I get the opportunity to order.“
“Love the golden curry. I unusually get the golden curry with chicken, this time I had it with vegetables. Next time I'm going to ask for half and half. The sauce tastes amazing, just wish it was thicker. We usually pick up and eat home but this time I went with a friend so we ate in restaurant. It's a nice spot in Georgetown and service is good. Parking lot at the back is too small but there is parking on the street nearby.“
