“I was at Kelsey’s Georgetown on Mar 28/25 at lunch time. A kid’s hockey tournament was in town and Kelsey’s was “packed with parents and kids”. I sat at the bar. I always make it a point to learn the names of staff. Krista was the bartender, as was Lilly. Both were exceptional in their professionalism, and in particular their patience, in dealing with a “barrage of orders”. I saw Louise, Samantha, Ryan and other servers constantly on the go to appease customers. Even Steve, the owner, was a significant factor in navigating a well run restaurant in light of all the nuances associated with accommodating a kid’s hockey tournament. In the past I have not taken the time to write a review. But, I was so impressed from what I had witnessed and experienced – I felt it appropriate to share my thoughts. Glen D.”

“The dishes we ordered for our take out order were very delicious, the quantity was so good and so was the freshness of the food. The restaurant called us to know our spice level preferences which in my opinion is very thoughtful and they exactly maintained the spice level we asked for. There was some discrepancy in the bill but it was immediately rectified as soon as we brought it to their notice ,that too on a busy Valentine day eve. ,it was an exceptional customer service which is rare to see and was very impressive.All in all great value for money and delicious authentic Indian food . I loved the experience .”

“Despite the restaurant understanding that it was our anniversary, we were given the " bums " rush after 2 hours despite other patrons were able to stay longer. We had a reservation at 630, restaurant stated closing at 930, those arriving at 830, would have had 1 hour to order and eat.”

“I had the privilege of going to one of the best restaurants in Georgetown today. The atmosphere and service was top notch! Shoeless Joe’s is a restaurant with a family feel. Truly great food too! Fresh and the chicken tenders are FRESH and not frozen! Burgers and stacked club we also ordered and wow is an understatement. The beer was sooooo good and free refills of pop. Well done Brenda and team! We’ll be back again FOR sure!!!! Everyone has to try Shoeless Joe’s Georgetown today!! Go now!!!!”

The atmosphere is super cozy, the owners are very down to earth, prices are phenomenal for the superior freshness and quality of cuisine that you are offered, and the all around experience was quite exceptional. “Wanted to give a huge shoutout to everyone at Georgetown Thai. I have been wanting GOOD thai food for a while now, and have been craving…. A curry and rice dish- and man did they deliver! The yellow curry was silky and spicy and so yummy. They’re food is so fresh, and reasonably priced. We had leftovers too, for today. And the hostesses + servers were so kind. The chicken Satay was AMAZING. It was cooked perfectly and was so tender. And the mango ice cream didnt taste like fake mango. And the thai puff was so light despite being filled with potatoes! I’m just a bit… blown away by everything lol. It doesn’t happen often, and I wanted to let everyone know! Definitely check them out if you haven’t yet! We will definitely be going again. “The best fish & chips in town! Always fresh, hot and delicious! The portion sizes are great and the prices are very reasonable. The fish is perfectly battered and never greasy. They have great daily specials and family meal deals. The restaurant is always clean. If doing take away, it’s so easy to call ahead and they’ll have your order ready for your arrival. The owner is so kind and friendly. It’s such a lovely small business and it’s definitely one worth supporting!”

“Genuinely confused by most of these one star reviews, I’ve been going to this restaurant since they have opened in town and have never found better tasting sushi elsewhere.

Food has never not been fresh, I’ve never gotten sick, and portions and taste have stayed consistent over the years. The owners and staff have always been so kind, we’ve never experienced any issues or attitude.

People are complaining about prices, but it’s because it’s actually good - I would personally rather pay for quality over quantity when it comes to sushi, and Yoyo always delivers!”

“Wow, this is the best. Fish & Chips I have ever had, and I’ve eaten a lot of fish and chips. The fish was nice and light and flaky and the batter was absolutely perfect. Not that heavy coating that feels like you’re trying to go through a loaf of bread to get to the fish but a nice light batter cooked golden brown. I ordered two pieces of the halibut because I was really hungry and I’m so glad I did. I would’ve been disappointed if I’d only had one piece because it was so good. Fantastic french fries and onion rings. We also enjoyed the coleslaw, which was excellent as well. If you’re anywhere near Golden Fish & Chips, you’ll definitely wanna stop by.”

“I always order the bibab bowl with tofu and black rice, the vegetables are always fresh, the service is fast and friendly, I’ve order food from here about 10 times and I’ve NEVER had an issue with the food or the service. It’s rare to find that these days. And to add, I normally don’t like tofu that much, but the way they make it here is so delicious!

The owner (the man who served me has got to be the owner - his attention to detail and care says so) encouraged me to get the panini and I'm so glad I did because it was simply delicious! An added bonus is the fresh fruit on the side. So healthy and true to the name Fit For Life. I ate half the panini before realizing I should leave a review, do the photo only shows 1/2 a panini.”

“Was thinking about taking the fam (2 adults, 2 kids under 12) to the mandarin for dinner. Because the weather I was convinced to order take out instead.

We tried Yong's for the first time. I set my limit at $100 as that was still 50 bucks less than mandarin would've cost us. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

The menu was stacked with options. I chose my mandarin favourites and the 2 items the kids actually eat.. So we got a ton of food, and I'll have lunches for days. The flavour was on point for everything and the portions were excellent.

Pepper steak slices were a bit big for my liking but the flavour was fantastic.

Will definitely be back for our next 'take out' family dinner night.
