9 Best Japanese Restaurants near Georgetown

“Ask for the original Korean bibimpap and you'll get the genuine flavourful Korean dish at this location run by Korean owners passionate about Korean cuisine. Just adjust the amount of kochujjang (red pepper paste) to your preference.

Whenever I'm in Georgetown, I have bibimpap for lunch and never get tired of it.

They have other options, too: if you want soup, I recommend their comforting and filling udong.

Their bibimbap, however, is the one to try for its genuine taste that almost transports you to Korea.“

“Come here regularly for lunch. This is the only sushi spot that makes sushi correctly. Sushi is meant to be room temperature and yoyo sushi always makes sure of this. I despise visiting other sushi places where I’m being served sushi that is freezing cold straight out of the fridge, it ruins the taste completely. Yoyo always makes sure the sushi is just right and I’m always given big portions. My order is usually the sushi lunch B and they never disappoint. Highly highly recommend.“

“This location is one of the best Sushi all you can eat in Georgetown for sure, the food is fresh and the place is clean.“

“Food is always great ! Great choices . Small place . Cozy. I have done take out aswell. The are a bit stingy on wasabi and ginger . But overall packaging is great for takeout. I just wished they were more polite and kinder . But maybe that’s just a language barrier. Overall coming back for some more .“

“Mom and Pop owned business! Both are so sweet! Japanese Teriyaki Food here is always freshly made and soooo delicious! Our family just loves ordering from here! Support local and support these far and few between small businesses! Thank you for your great fast and efficient service!“

“I loved the food and service, the only thing that bothered me was the place didn’t have a table, just few chairs. I wanted to have my food there as it was raining outside and eating by holding the food in my hand seem inconvenient so I had to leave and go to nearby Tim Hortons. Even just one small table would be nice for people who just wanna have a quick meal.“

“Absolutely amazing experience! Everything exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The quality, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. I felt welcomed, supported, and genuinely impressed with the level of care and effort put in. I would 100% recommend this to anyone and will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for such a great experience!“

“Best spot in Milton for high quality sushi! Lots of options and super fresh. My faves are the salmon aburi, milton roll and white dragon roll. Beautiful presentation! The price is a bit more than other spots and the service is a bit slow (but friendly). We had to wait a long time for our bill. The dining room is fairly small but it is nice that there is a patio area in the front. Highly recommend this restaurant but they need to tighten up their efficiency for a 5* rating.“

“Nice, friendly staff and great food. However, should work to improve the ambience.“
