“Come here regularly for lunch. This is the only sushi spot that makes sushi correctly. Sushi is meant to be room temperature and yoyo sushi always makes sure of this. I despise visiting other sushi places where I’m being served sushi that is freezing cold straight out of the fridge, it ruins the taste completely. Yoyo always makes sure the sushi is just right and I’m always given big portions. My order is usually the sushi lunch B and they never disappoint. Highly highly recommend.“

“Ask for the original Korean bibimpap and you'll get the genuine flavourful Korean dish at this location run by Korean owners passionate about Korean cuisine. Just adjust the amount of kochujjang (red pepper paste) to your preference.

Whenever I'm in Georgetown, I have bibimpap for lunch and never get tired of it.

They have other options, too: if you want soup, I recommend their comforting and filling udong.

Their bibimbap, however, is the one to try for its genuine taste that almost transports you to Korea.“

“This Bento Sushi is located inside the Metro. I had the spicy California roll and it was awesome. It was so fresh and tasty that I came and bought the same thing two days in a row. If you see the lady making the rolls while you're there, make sure you give this a try!“

“Sushi-Ya is truly a hidden gem, and I mean that quite literally since it's tucked away and easy to miss if you don't know it's there.

The food was incredibly fresh, the service was warm and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. We opted for the customizable bento box option, which allows you to mix and match your selections. Being able to upgrade to add salmon sashimi, if you’re so inclined.

The restaurant also has a cute little patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal on a nice day. Another bonus is the ample street parking nearby that allows you to park for up to 3 hours, making it an easy spot to visit.

My only complaint is the washroom is a bit dingy and scary to get to in the basement, but that’s me being picky! Haha.

“I got take out here the other day and the vibes were really nice. Shoutout to my server (didn’t get his name, but he mentioned he was new), he offered me a seat to order my food and took my order in a timely manner. The food was made pretty quickly. I’d say ~4-5 minute wait time.

There is nice seating, would definitely visit again to see the dine in experience.

“I loved the food and service, the only thing that bothered me was the place didn’t have a table, just few chairs. I wanted to have my food there as it was raining outside and eating by holding the food in my hand seem inconvenient so I had to leave and go to nearby Tim Hortons. Even just one small table would be nice for people who just wanna have a quick meal.“
