“We ordered take out with delivery. We ordered: Salmon Poke Bowl, spicy salmon rolls, California rolls and dynamite rolls. It was fresh, delicious, so well presented. I appreciate that each item ordered was packaged separately from each other - flavours and types of sushi were not all kind of blended together. Beautifully rolled and the flavours are awesome. The Poke Bowl was packed with fresh ingredients and was super tasty. Ample chopsticks provided as well as soya sauces. I requested the teriyaki sauce from the Dynamite Rolls on the side, and they did exactly that. Another highlight, it would appear that whether you are dining in person or ordering for delivery, quality and freshness isn't altered. “We were immediately greeted by the friendly and patient staff who helped us choose plates based on our own preferences. The food was well presented, had incredible flavour and even more incredible texture. The tempura was outstanding. It was perfectly fried being crispy on the outside without being greasy and the crazy boy had an incredible slightly spicy flavour worth trying for the first time. The entire experience was amazing and left us wanting to come back for more. It is definitely a spot checking out of you are looking for good sushi in Toronto.“

“One of the better places I've been for a la carte sushi. Fair prices, and although it's not the fanciest place to go, the quality of the food is solid and the prices are more than reasonable. The reason I'm giving it only 4-stars for food is for 2 points:

They don't have green tea - odd for a sushi place, at least imo.

The rolls, maki, appetizers, solid. But I've never seen nigiri made the way they do, and perhaps its a bonus for some people. It's an unusually large cut of protein, twice as long as normal, it slides off the back and then some, and the rice portion is about half the size of what you would expect. As I said, some people may love this, but for me, 8 pieces of nigiri of that portion ratio, I couldn't finish it, nor did I overly enjoy it. It's more like an oversized cut of sashimi with a bit of rice.

The Maki, signature rolls, and everything else are awesome though, I would just tread lightly on the Nigiri.

I'd go again, but I'd order differently is all.“

Delivery took in total about 30-35 minutes, that’s really important for me as well as good food quality.
Food was delicious, inside the bag was also free miso soup and side salad. I noticed some extra utensils and extra napkins as well.
Good amount of wasabi and ginger.

“I was so pleasantly surprised that there's such a wonderful Japanese restaurant not far from me.
The food is fresh, delicious, and served in a manner pleased for eyes.
The portion is great and prices are reasonable.
To be full, you need just 20-30 dollars per person.
I am not even say how friendly staff are. They are here for help, but not overwhelmed you by their presence.

Tuna and salmon sashimi were buttery and had an incredible fresh taste.

The rolls were good but I'd definitely get more sashimi next time..also enjoyed the spring rolls!

The atmosphere is really nice. It’s quieter during the day, but I actually prefer coming in the evening because there’s more of a vibe and energy.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The sushi was fresh and delicious, but the miso soup was honestly the star for me. Probably the best miso soup I’ve ever had! 🍜

We also tried the Green Salad with a really unique dressing, and it was surprisingly delicious.

But my absolute favorite was the Pork Katsu Don. If I remember the name correctly 😄 SO good! Definitely one of those dishes I’d come back for 😍

I also loved the sake mojito. Light, refreshing, and really tasty! 🍸

“I’ve been many times for their cash special, you can get 24 pieces of sushi for $15 if you play your cards right. Their platters are also great. Large chunks of fish for sashimi. Much better than the sushi served at their market in union.“

“To-Ne Sushi in Toronto is genuinely amazing. This little spot completely changed how I think about sushi in the city. The fish is unreal — buttery toro that melts, sweet scallop that tastes straight from the ocean, and salmon that has zero of that “fishy” aftertaste you get at mediocre places. The rice is warm, perfectly seasoned, and packed with the kind of care you only see when a chef actually respects the craft.

Their aburi is a standout. Seared salmon belly with a light miso glaze hits that perfect mix of smoky, crispy, and rich without being heavy. Hand rolls come out with nori that’s still warm and crisp, not soggy. If you sit at the bar, do the omakase. “This was my third omakase experience, and this visit fell short of expectations. I originally booked because the restaurant advertises a $120 menu on both their website and reservation platform. I even called several times beforehand to confirm details, but no one ever picked up. When we arrived, we were told the $120 option doesn’t exist and that $150 is the minimum — a frustrating start.

The food itself was creative, with interesting flavor combinations and fish imported from multiple countries. However, I genuinely enjoyed only about half of the dishes. The head chef was entertaining, but his presence was brief during the 90‑minute seating.

Despite the rave reviews on Google and Reddit, my experience was just fair. For two people, the bill came to roughly $400 after tax and tip. Having tried many sushi restaurants in both Vancouver and Toronto, I found the value on the higher side for what we received. The quantity was generous with many sushi varieties — we left overly full without ordering add‑ons — but overall, the experience didn’t quite justify the price.“

“The restaurant, service and food at this restaurant was good. However the only downside is that the customers are literally asked to pay a tip. During this difficult period of the pandemic, it is hard to leave a tip. It should be optional but if you do not tip, you are sort of asked "why no tip". This becomes odd and the customer should be given the discretion to tip. This is the reason, I am giving 4 stars to this restaurant.“

“I came here for lunch with my coworkers and we shared a tasting box plus a few rolls on the side.

I don’t eat cucumber, so I specifically asked for no cucumber in our order and was told it could be swapped with avocado, which I really appreciated.

We were also informed it would take about 20 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40–45 minutes due to the lunchtime rush. Totally understandable though, and the manager was very apologetic and even gave us a $5 coupon for our next visit along with our box.

When the food arrived, the presentation of the tasting box was absolutely WOW.. it was so beautifully done. We were honestly just too hungry at that point to admire it for long.

Unfortunately, I noticed the first roll I picked still had cucumber in it, and when we flagged it, the staff immediately looked into it. It turned out there was a miscommunication about the substitution, and most of the rolls in the box had cucumber. The manager personally came over, apologized, explained everything, and immediately took care of it by offering to remake the box without cucumber and providing a full refund, which really went above and beyond.

Despite the hiccup, the service and care from the team really stood out. Mistakes happen, especially during busy lunch hours, but the way the team responded made a big difference. I’d definitely come back again.“

“This has to be the best sushi in the entire city. I discovered Sushi by K during the covid lockdown period and quickly began to frequently order from them through Uber Eats. Now, my family and I moved to the neighbourhood and love dining in there. The quality can’t be beat. They have some of the freshest seafood you can imagine. My toddler doesn’t eat anything raw so we get her the teriyaki chicken and also realized it’s the best chicken teriyaki in the city. Comparable to some of the best places I’ve tried in Japan!“
