Decided to try out the new Line 5 LRT and this spot is next to the Keelesdale Station. Mainly a takeout spot but they allowed me to eat there because it wasn’t too busy. Loved the food!!“

“We had their original and American burgers. Both were good. I found them tasty but very one-note in flavour. My wife and I alternated between the two and that helped because the American had relish that helped brighten the flavour a bit. Honestly they need lettuce/tomato and pickle options... something add more interest. Their curly fries were really good. Everything was fresh.“

The woman who runs this also makes her own milk tea, and it’s to die for. Prices are also amazing - super affordable with good portion sizes. Support local and make this a staple!“

“I had Simba's during Ramadan this year, I haven't realized that I should post a review, so here I am. This is, without a doubt, the BEST chicken spot I have ever tried. I went there with my 4 cousins and we all were in love with it, I never knew chicken could be THAT good! We got 2 Ramadan specials and a combo meal, The Ramadan special was amazing, the fried chicken sandwich, the smash burger, the tenders, and the fries were all so good. There's not one thing I disliked about Simba's. Keep up the amazing work, I hope to be back soon!“

“I stopped by Bunmi and was pleasantly surprised! The bao bun was incredibly soft and fluffy, with flavorful, juicy filling and fresh pickled veggies that added the perfect crunch. Every bite was well balanced and delicious.I also tried the Ube Coffee, and it was amazing—smooth coffee with a creamy ube flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. Such a unique and refreshing combination!“

“Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.

Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.

Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.

Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.

Staff are super friendly and courteous.

“Ok fair warning: this is not health food, it's not light, it's not gluten free, it's definitely not vegan, the only plant-based food here is either deep fried or a condiment. This is old skool Italo-American diner food. The veal mozza sandwich is the flagship. It's an all-in-one 3-course dinner in a soft kaiser bun the size of your face, with a breaded and fried veal cutlet folded in half, smothered in tomato sauce, under a melted slice of mozzarella, and a few jalapeno peppers sprinkled in as the vegetable course. Delicious, rich, savoury and slightly picante, with the chewy veal bite, it is not for the light of heart nor the thin of artery. This is deeply satisfying, rib-sticking comfort food that probably hasn't changed since the 80s. There are a few high top tables (no seating) if you want to eat it right away, but it's really a take-away or delivery restaurant. Either way, I highly recommend going for a long walk after eating this or cut it in half and save it for tomorrow. There are also pizza squares and beef patties if you need something fast. Best thing to do is order ahead and go in for the pick-up.“

Recently I tried the burgers they have, and they are SO GOOD. Full of toppings, nice touch of char flavour on the patty, and overall really filling. Their daily specials are fairly priced too. I would highly recommend this location!“

Sometimes they have some prepared in advance in the fridge. If you need a large order call them in advance. You can also order and wait for your takeout order.
They have a lot of prepared food there. There is also a meat section (kosher).
If you need produce, you'll have to shop elsewhere.“

“That's my housemate with the most recent review and thought I'd give my review. We ordered both flavours and had the Salmon first night, gone within a few minutes! Undoubtedly the night's favourite! “It was my first time at the place. The staff clearly explained to me what was available and I got enough cutlery and napkins. The pierogies were made in delicious water which had very nice taste of bay leaves and garlic. Very delicious. I also got a generous amount of sour cream with it and the pierogies were soft and delicious and gushy in taste. Highly recommend.“

I am not kosher or Jewish but if I were to have sushi, this is the place to go. Their ingredients are very fresh ( omg i wonder where they get their avocados.... The most creamy and so flavorful avocados ever !!) , sometimes make me wonder if theyd make any profits cause their ingredients and qualities of foods are outstanding! If you want a nice Japanese dinner at home or even at ur office , this is the place to go. Id pick noah sushi over any fine Japanese restaurants in town. Strongly recommend.“

“I am so grateful for this restaurant and the people who run it. My dad was a longtime customer who would stop by after work at least once a week. Recently, he's taken ill and is struggling to enjoy his favourite foods. The other day he asked me to specifically pick up a chicken roti from Roti Stop because he missed it so badly. The woman on the phone was super helpful and had my order ready by the time I requested. I had to puree everything, of course, but it made my dad so happy to taste one of his favourite meals again!
