Decided to try out the new Line 5 LRT and this spot is next to the Keelesdale Station. Mainly a takeout spot but they allowed me to eat there because it wasn’t too busy. Loved the food!!“

“There’s a bit of a wait depending on when you go but its definitely worth it for the price. The lady who runs the place is really sweet. Its a hole in the wall and there’s no seating so its only take out. The portion is huge for the price, I got the sausage crepe and it was really good, would recommend!“

“I absolutely love this gem - Food is super fresh, very homestyle cooking - like from your mom’s kitchen. The lemongrass chicken on rice or egg foo young are my favourite dishes. “While we were in the area having dinner, we decided to pick up something for lunch the following day and ended up deciding on gimbap. After trying the food, we instantly had regrets that we didn't come here for dinner the night before! Really fresh and well made, at a price point that's very reasonable for the portion sizing. “Ok fair warning: this is not health food, it's not light, it's not gluten free, it's definitely not vegan, the only plant-based food here is either deep fried or a condiment. This is old skool Italo-American diner food. The veal mozza sandwich is the flagship. It's an all-in-one 3-course dinner in a soft kaiser bun the size of your face, with a breaded and fried veal cutlet folded in half, smothered in tomato sauce, under a melted slice of mozzarella, and a few jalapeno peppers sprinkled in as the vegetable course. Delicious, rich, savoury and slightly picante, with the chewy veal bite, it is not for the light of heart nor the thin of artery. This is deeply satisfying, rib-sticking comfort food that probably hasn't changed since the 80s. There are a few high top tables (no seating) if you want to eat it right away, but it's really a take-away or delivery restaurant. Either way, I highly recommend going for a long walk after eating this or cut it in half and save it for tomorrow. There are also pizza squares and beef patties if you need something fast. Best thing to do is order ahead and go in for the pick-up.“

Recently I tried the burgers they have, and they are SO GOOD. Full of toppings, nice touch of char flavour on the patty, and overall really filling. Their daily specials are fairly priced too. I would highly recommend this location!“

“Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.

Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.

Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.

Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.

Staff are super friendly and courteous.

The pierogies were made in delicious water which had very nice taste of bay leaves and garlic. Very delicious. I am not kosher or Jewish but if I were to have sushi, this is the place to go. Their ingredients are very fresh ( omg i wonder where they get their avocados.... The most creamy and so flavorful avocados ever !!) , sometimes make me wonder if theyd make any profits cause their ingredients and qualities of foods are outstanding!
