Its a hole in the wall and there’s no seating so its only take out. The portion is huge for the price, I got the sausage crepe and it was really good, would recommend!“

“Apparently Rudy is a chain however, prior to knowing that I stumbled onto their location downtown Toronto and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Crudy Tattooed and it was fantastic, it was greasy and full of flavor as a burger should be. My only complaint is I feel like it's a tad pricey, for a burger with bacon it cost more than competitors with equal to slightly better quality. But despite that, it was a great burger and worth checking out, if you don't mind the sluggish service and no indoor seating.“

I enjoyed the steamed vegetables (different from the typical coleslaw), rice and peas and the tasty, lean jerk pork. I washed it down with my favourite @dandgjamaica pineapple soft drink! “Five stars! The ingredients were incredibly fresh and delicious, and the value for money was excellent. Definitely the best sushi spot around High Park.

The Chef’s Sashimi was thoughtfully prepared with premium selections — this time it even included otoro, which was such a pleasant surprise. Absolutely worth trying.

“I inhaled their mini and regular sized bowls before I could take a picture, that says a lot. I really appreciated the way they accommodated my gluten intolerance without issue. I would say their mini bowls are refreshing for the summer because of the lettuce base for cooling our system a bit and the fresh ingredients & sauce. I have had the cali, house, and I believe one other bowl and have been satisfied every time. It's a calm, quiet ambience unfortunately no seating which is the only reason for one less star otherwise 10/10 spot xo. The owners are respectful, professional, and kind!“

“What can you ask for and such a good little dessert/snack inside of a market? Whatever you order is good. My preference is the custard. Make sure you check their hours as it’s not open the same time as a market. Definitely check this place out as it is I must try.“

The Stuffed Patties are to die for. There are a variety of patties to choose from prices ranging from 10-20 dollars, but they are worth their price. The portions are huge, definitely enough for two people or leftovers!

“It was my first time at the place. The staff clearly explained to me what was available and I got enough cutlery and napkins. The pierogies were made in delicious water which had very nice taste of bay leaves and garlic. Very delicious. I also got a generous amount of sour cream with it and the pierogies were soft and delicious and gushy in taste. Highly recommend.“

“Best burger in the city. Shake and Rudy are good too of course, but Aloette is a step above, for the same price.

Haven’t tried the chicken options but the beef is excellent. Not sure what grade or cuts they use, but it’s packed full of beefy flavour goodness. What sets Aloette apart though are the chef-y toppings that make it the best blend
/hybrid of a smash burger and restaurant burger.

Cheese fries come with a briny pepperoncini/mustard relish topping and is perfect to cut through the richness of the cheese sauce.

Only 4 stool seats so this is a takeout spot.

Staff are super friendly and courteous.

“My local go to spot for jerk chicken and patties. I was a regular at the OG Fahmee Bakery before it burnt down and even though the recipe is different the food still hits! If you order a platter be sure you have them bless the rice and peas with that oxtail gravy...IYKYK“

“We passed by Sushi & Bento on the way to the St Patrick subway station on Dundas to catch the Rogers Cup (ATP tennis) at the Aviva Center. After spending a tiring 6 hours watching the tennis matches, we decided to pick up takeout on the way home. Ordered a couple of the teriyaki chicken bento boxes at $12.95 each. Back at the hotel, we were quite surprised to find a lot food. The boxes consisted of a miso soup, a small salad, 6 large pieces of California roll, 2 pork gyozas, 5 pieces of tempura (2 prawns, 1 piece each of brocolli, sweet potato, & squash), a small scoop of white rice, a large serving of sliced up chicken (the equivalent of 2 thighs). Although we both weren't able to finish eating all of our dinner due to the large volume of food, I would recommend eating at his establishment.“
