“I came across this store by chance. Except that it was a little slow (business was too good), everything else was perfect.
Grandma is very nice, and she even gave me soy milk. Thank you for your support. It’s cheap and delicious.“

“Friends and coworkers have been suggesting this place for a while. Price is good for what is given. Bread is fluffy and soft but has a great light toast so there is great texture with each bite. Hash brown was flavourful and doesn’t need any condiments to eat. It’s a great breakfast or brunch option. I will eat here again.“

“A little store with big flavour and nostalgic Vietnamese street foods! It may not look fancy but the food is packed with so much flavour.
We tried the lemongrass tofu banh mi (sandwich), the banh trang tron (mixed rice paper) and banh cuon (steamed pork rolls). For a simple place, everything had a mix of complex flavours that was for a very fair price.
The owner is extremely friendly and down to earth. She prides herself for no msg dishes as she herself prefers not to eat it. You can always call ahead to order if you're on the go!“

“I ordered take out after a house party and I vaguely remember the burger and fries both being quite delicious.
Oh actually forget it, that was a different burger place that's also quite yummy but also oily and heavy.
Coming back to Rudy, I ate in a hurry once before going out to a festival and I'm so glad that I did or I would've been hungry throughout. I don't particularly remember the taste but I do remember thinking I'm glad I had food before heading out and that sentiment deserves five stars!!“

“Good and affordable. Many restaurants raise prices over last few years. Stuu stuu went the opposite direction and adjusted the offering. The curry is still great and filling, with a bit less meat than before at a price hard to find elsewhere. No more beef stews.Unlike most Japanese curry places, Stuu stuu curry includes vegetables mixed in, a bit sweet, really adds to the flavor. One negative:The paper takeout bags cannot hold much weight. Even when double bagged, the strings from both bags broke immediately upon leaving the restaurant. That's two out of two times it happened. Luckily I brought my own bag.“

“I ordered lechon belly at the last minute, and they asked what time the event was so they could advise the best time to pick it up so that the skin remains crispy. Everyone loved it! Very flavorful meat throughout partnered with delicious sauce. Will definitely order again! So will everyone at the party!“

“Great fusion experience, of course, with a Japanese base and inspiration. 5 course tasting meal with wine pairing is a great haute cuisine dining experience; for people that like a volume of food order sushi on the side or an extra main course, but otherwise high quality, reasonable quantity! night time view of city lights is great! staff were polite and attentive! Thanks for running a great restaurant!“

“For starters, the owner is so nice. The tea served while we waited was very refreshing and nutty at the same time. The dosirak portions are amazing for the price and the taste is out of the world. The gimbap was super stuffed and a complete meal in itself. Over all can’t wait to get more soon.“

“I recently visited Jerk Up Central Inc., and I was absolutely blown away by the incredible flavors and quality of the food! This place takes authentic Caribbean cuisine to a whole new level. From the first bite, I could tell that the team at Jerk Up Central knows their craft.
Their jerk chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of smoky heat. The spices are balanced so well, and you get that genuine Caribbean flavor that’s hard to come by outside of the islands. The sides were also delicious—rice and peas, plantains, and their slaw all complemented the main dishes beautifully, adding richness and a refreshing contrast to the spices.
One of my favorite things about Jerk Up Central Inc. is that they don’t shy away from delivering bold, authentic flavors. Every bite transported me straight to the Caribbean! The portions were generous, making it worth every penny. Their team was also super friendly, and you can tell they are passionate about what they do.
If you’re a fan of jerk or Caribbean food, or if you're just looking to try something new, I highly recommend Jerk Up Central Inc. This is a true gem, and I’ll definitely be back for more!“

“I tried something new to me tonight: Curry Fries. It's a lot for a snack: a nice box of fries with a ladle of fantastic chicken curry sauce over the top. Highly recommended.“

“First of all, the char on this burger is absolutely phenomenal. I personally love the smoky taste that the burger has, also I like how the burgers are not cooked to medium well. The banquet burger has always been top notch. On the other hand, I am not a big fan of their chicken sandwiches. I love friend chicken but I tend to find it a bit bland and not really flavourful. Overall amazing place.“

“Fresh, crispy and hot bungeoppang (or taiyaki) filled with creamy custard is the perfect snack to go! Surprisingly, the custard isn't too sweet so it is so balanced in flavor. Although it may seem pricey, it always makes me come back for more. Note that you have to bring cash though.“

“Definitely the best karaage I've had, and up there with some of the best chicken I've ever had. It's much better than any karaage from the many ramen places I've visited. This place truly puts their main focus on perfecting it, instead of treating it as a side dish. Perfectly tender, juicy, and flavorful. Really, really great stuff. I recommend the Momo (thigh) and Tabasaki (wing).“

“Man I don't know why people are 1 star review bombing this place but here's my personal experience as someone who grew up in the neighborhood,
Yes I understand that their food might not be the palette of someone who had a more premium sandwich but to me this is just enough to make me feel satiated and fulfill that craving. And also for the value you get espically in today's economy they still keep it on the affordable side compared to other places in the city.
I have my recommendations at the bottom especially the steak sandwich highly suggest you get that.
In a week this is one of the few business I return quite often in a week and hope you give this a shot!“

“This is the best on-the-go breakfast on the westside of Toronto! The Good Standard breakfast sandwich (with either bacon or kale - we had both and they were excellent) is made of scrambled eggs, melted cheddar, crispy-thick bacon, pickels, hit sauce on a toasted English muffin with nothing but tasty goodness!“

“Ordered for takeout. The veggie burger, while doesn’t look that good, is actually super tasty! They don’t use a meat substitute burger; it’s more of a grain type patty. It’s probably the only grain patty that I’ve actually enjoyed. The toppings were fresh and the bun was fluffy.
The Caesar salad was a miss for me. I really didn’t like the dressing. It was a bit sour for my liking.
I would definitely order the burger again.“

“Good little bakery with home made European food in st. Lawrence market. Everything looks fresh and delicious. A friend asked for a frozen uncooked sausage roll to make it fresh at home and the store staff were happy to give it that way and also gave advice on how to best cook it. Very friendly, polite and helpful. Also, their homemade lasagna is good!“

“Got the Sunday Platter takeout with all the trimmings. Great Meal and deal for two.The Jerk chicken quality & spiciness was on point; curry made grandma happy, and callaloo was delightful. Rice and pigeon peas was moist and tasty and the home made Mac and cheese is the real Caribbean deal. Also bought a yummy like-home bake and saltfish to eat on site. Vibe is aight for a quick bite and they have a great expresso coffee machine and all the juice/ting beverages. My new fave place on Weston. Family-run“

“I always try to come down here when I'm in the area. The gyro is my go-to and has been for years. The service has always been average to great so no complaints. One quandary I have is with the grime within the seating area associated with its age. I don't mind but, if a squeaky clean atmosphere is what you want, I'd recommend take-out. The other issue I have is with the smell of the harbor front which has at times ruined my experience. The food is still and will always be the star of the show.“

“Great Halal Jamaican food. We had the large jerk chicken plate (feeds 2 people) and beef patties. The jerk chicken plate was flavourful. The Beef Patties were phenomenal. They were warm and fresh out of the oven. We especially enjoyed them. The service was great and the person who served us was incredibly kind. I recommend checking out Fahmee Bakery if you have the chance!“

“Cute little hidden gem on Bay st ??Delicious cappuccino and breakfast sandwiches ☕️? Oh and the choc chip cookie is scrumptious as well ? I came here for breakfast and then went back for a grilled veggie sandwich for lunch. So happy to have found this place as it’s a short 5m walk from my office ? Looking forward to trying more things on the menu!
Update: Tried the $5 pasta Tues special and it was great! Had the tomato marinara and next week will try the basil pesto ?“
“We passed by Sushi & Bento on the way to the St Patrick subway station on Dundas to catch the Rogers Cup (ATP tennis) at the Aviva Center. After spending a tiring 6 hours watching the tennis matches, we decided to pick up takeout on the way home. Ordered a couple of the teriyaki chicken bento boxes at $12.95 each. Back at the hotel, we were quite surprised to find a lot food. The boxes consisted of a miso soup, a small salad, 6 large pieces of California roll, 2 pork gyozas, 5 pieces of tempura (2 prawns, 1 piece each of brocolli, sweet potato, & squash), a small scoop of white rice, a large serving of sliced up chicken (the equivalent of 2 thighs). Although we both weren't able to finish eating all of our dinner due to the large volume of food, I would recommend eating at his establishment.“
“We do weekly catering for our office through Marcello’s. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of the food and the impeccable service, they have provided so much variety each week and we are more than happy to recommend them! Franks communication has been so professional and quick also!“
“A fantastic deal from #toogoodtogo and I have zero complaints! This spot delivers a vast array of sushi and sashimi options perfect for a quick bite. As an Asian, I'd say the rice is average, but the fillings more than make up for it – they're simply delightful. So if you want sushi on the go, this place definitely ticks the box!“

“This is my favorite burger place, Smashed Patty. The patty itself is delicious, the seasoning is just right, the crust is on the end, and the soft brioche. The single and double have completely different menus. The single has a harmonious taste of other ingredients, but it lacks a bit of juiciness. I think it's a bit thick, and the double is juicy and soft, but the taste of the other ingredients isn't that big. There are pros and cons, so take your pick...and the onion rings are really delicious. This is a must-have choice, because the taste is in the dough itself. Add spicy mayo. It goes well with it when dipped in it.“
