Ordered the bbq fry chicken meal last night and was underwhelmed. Rice and peas is usually if not always made with brown rice. The use of basmati rice as new go to for me is a no. It alters the taste of the food altogether. It should be a choice. The chicken was salty and tangy, that’s the only two flavours I could describe. Not much seasoned. The Cole slaw tasted Vietnamese and not Jamaican. I truly only enjoyed the cucumber slices.
Fantastic food, even better oxtail. The best in the city, aside from all the meals, my favorite thing is the OG patty. It's insanely delicious.
From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service makes you feel right at home. But the real star is the food!
The Stuffed Patties are to die for. There are a variety of patties to choose from prices ranging from 10-20 dollars, but they are worth their price. The portions are huge, definitely enough for two people or leftovers!
