“Didn’t have any reservations anywhere near our concert venue in a very busy night (Valentine’s Day and family day weekend) so looked up sushi near me and thank Google, it led us to Koi - every bite was so delicious and I’ll be back for the torched scallop, torched salmon and spicy beef inari (pocket) sushi. Explained each dish as they were served, with detail on fish, preparation (smoked, cured, aged), fish cut, fish origin location etc.. very complete Omakase and ended the meal with delicious ube ice cream!! “On 21/03/2026 I ordered a sushi platter via ritual.

I live at 2707 Yonge street. The website shows new location on Yonge & Eglinton.

I placed my order fully assuming that this will be the location which is walking distance from my apartment. The address listed was 1560 Yonge street and being new to the country I believed this was the same one that is walking distance from my apartment.

Unfortunately that was not the case, it was the Yonge and St Clair location. It was too late and too far for me to go as I had no one to babysit my son.

When I requested a refund from ritual they denied me flat out as the address is clearly listed at the top and the food was made.

The restaurant however was very understanding and even went as far to have my order made at the Yonge-Eglinton location.

A special mention to Victoria who was patient and understanding of my situation.

“This is one of the best sushi I have ever had, and I eat a lot of sushi!! The portion sizes were generous, the food was good quality and nicely plated, and on top of that it was extremely affordable!!

I got a green dragon roll with eel sauce instead of fruit sauce. My partner got a red dragon roll and 4pcs of salmon nigiri. We also got an order of shrimp tempura which was hot, crispy, and delicious.

“My girlfriends and I visited Planta a few weeks ago, and it was such a pleasant experience. It was my first time at the restaurant, and while I’m not vegan, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I’m currently limiting my dairy intake, so I was thrilled to satisfy my pizza craving with one of their delicious dairy-free options.

The service was fantastic—both Sid and Grace were such a pleasure. Grace was especially knowledgeable and helpful when we were placing our orders, and when there was a small issue with my meal, they handled it quickly, apologetically, and with kindness.
