“I tried their highly recommended chicken shawarma lunch special (large – $14.99 + tax), which came with shawarma, hummus, garlic sauce, chickpeas, fresh salad greens, cucumbers, and pickled beets. The chicken was beautifully charred and flavourful. Underneath, there was a generous layer of roasted potatoes, rice, and cooked lentils — such a nutritious and great-value meal.
Even though they were extremely busy during the lunch rush, the assembly process was very efficient and well organized, so the wait time was quite reasonable. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.“

“I recently dined here with a group of four for a birthday dinner. Overall, the food itself was excellent — really vibrant flavours, well-balanced spice, and beautifully presented dishes. You can tell there’s care put into the cooking, and everything we tried tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We all really enjoyed the duck confit leg.
That said, the value just didn’t match the quality. After sharing several dishes (5 to be exact), the bill came out to about $50 per person, which felt steep considering the portion sizes. Unfortunately, despite spending that much, we actually left the restaurant still hungry. $21 for a glass of white (la grande ourse) when a bottle itself in retail costs around $40 is diabolical.
If you’re going for flavour alone, it’s a great spot. But for the price point, I was expecting more generous portions or a more filling experience. Delicious food — just not the best value for a group dinner.“

“I have been ordering lunch at this location 2 times per week for the past 4 years. It is an efficient location, I have never had any issues with the quality of the ingredients (which isn't the case with some of the other Fast Fresh Food locations in the core) and the staff are friendly and great to deal with. Highly recommend for a quick, healthy lunch.“

“Went for Valentine’s Day. Ethan was our server, he made great suggestions was very professional and at the same time kept it very casual as if we were talking to a friend. The food was amazing but the highlight of the night was Ethan’s perfect performance. I highly recommend the mushroom fried rice and would return again just for the services. 10/10.“

“Great healthy option in the food court. The sandwiches are great, but the salads are my favorite. Light yet filling and full of protein. Service is always really fast and the portions are generous.
Little pro tip: You can go on their website, to their nutrition tab, and calculate the exact nutritional breakdown of your meal.“

“A charming neighbourhood gem! The menu and ambiance is in keeping with a French bistro, although they do offer pizza and pasta as well. The dishes lean more towards rustic than fine dining, and could use more flavour, but portion sizes are generous.

“Good food and good service but this location is busy at lunch time and only has one person working!! How come?? The staff member was working 120% of her time, not sure if she got time to breath! I was more than 10 min waiting and she prepared more than 10 orders alone. Everybody was waiting. The company should put at least 2 people here on rush hour.“

“I was visiting Toronto for the weekend and wanted to grab lunch at an affordable sports bar where i could catch the games. I can confirm the excellent reviews on Google are well deserved. I didn't catch the bartender's name on 10/12/2024 but she was doing it all and doing an amazing job. Great atmosphere, great food, great beer, and most importantly great service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Halim & Mamun have to be the most helpful individuals. I placed a catering order for a corporate meeting on behalf of my work place and they helped ensure it was a seamless process. From the time I placed it online, they discussed with me over the phone and even offered to track the uber courier for pick up. They loaded the vehicle and managed to get all orders right despite the substitutions, everything was labelled perfectly and the food was fresh!! Truly so thankful for them. Will definitely be ordering from here more often.“

“Rhum Corner NEVER misses!!! I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary, and as always, everything was perfect. We ordered the oxtail with rice and beans and the fried chicken with macaroni. Honestly, I can’t come to Rhum Corner without ordering the oxtail. It’s always so tender and so flavorful. I swear I could eat it every single day and never get tired of it. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the macaroni is just perfect.
And I have to mention the pikliz, I swear they need to start selling it on its own because I could eat it by the jar by itself. The perfect mix of heat, crunch, and tang I just love it so much lol
I also ordered the Painkiller, which was soo good. Sweet, creamy, and dangerously easy to drink.
The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service … everything about this place is just incredible. You can taste the care and love that goes into everything they make. Rhum Corner is one of those restaurants that just gets it right every single time and that’s why I’ll keep coming back 😌“

“Visited at noon on a Wednesday lunchtime. There was a line up, however, we were quickly served by efficient staff. There was a moderately extensive range of sandwiches available, and I decided to go for the schnitzel. As it was cooked there was a little wait, however, the service was pretty rapid. Cost was just over $14 so it's what you would expect downtown. The schnitzel tasted pretty good and I had no complaints on a quick sandwich. The facilities were clean and well maintained.“
