“Wendy has been absolutely amazing! She remembers every little detail you tell her, just like a friend would. You can really tell that she puts a lot of care and love into what she does.

Her food is honestly amazing. She cooks like a professional chef, but at the same time cares for her customers like a mother. Our family’s breakfast is sorted thanks to her! We especially love the Ayham Special. Her lunch items are really tasty and very filling too.

And Wendy herself is just such a kind and lovely person. She has such a positive energy that even just seeing her makes me happy! 😊

“I work right down the street, and Salad house is truly a gem. I typically order the Chicken shawarma plate. Size small is MORE than enough food and great value: only $11.49 + tax. The food is delicious and always fresh. The staff are very efficient. Arrive early, because this place is busy!!!!“

Our server Isa was very attentive and when there was one wine in the pairing we didn't love (and only shared because she asked), she gave us another glass on the house. Definitely didn't need to do that, but a way of going above and beyond. The setting was airy yet cozy, and not at all pretentious. “Was running errands and popped by here because I've been wanting to try it for a while (I remember enjoying tasty Fresh juice years ago at a downtown location!). I don't follow a vegan diet so finding plant-based restaurants is not a huge priority for me, but the menu here looks so interesting and the space is lovely as well. I had the brunch bundle with The Glow (fresh juice - carrot, apple, turmeric, ginger, lemon) and Mom's Breakfast Sandwich (brioche bun, vegan breakfast sausage, Just Egg omelette, chipotle mayo, hash brown, pickles, vegan butter - I had the chipotle mayo substituted with garlic mayo) with house salad. Food came fast and everything tasted so fresh and delicious, and one of the best hash browns I've ever had, so crispy and fluffy and flavourful without feeling overly oily/greasy! My stomach had been growling before I came in, and it was definitely satiated. I was alone in the heated patio and even though there were lots of people inside and the kitchen was clearly bustling, the staff were very attentive, thoughtful and helpful. They regularly came over to check on me and make sure the temperature in the space was OK. Wonderful place, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!“

It is an efficient location, I have never had any issues with the quality of the ingredients (which isn't the case with some of the other Fast Fresh Food locations in the core) and the staff are friendly and great to deal with. Lack one ingredient is the chillies for wrapping with the lettuce. “I recently ordered catering from Leslieville Sandwich Room for my father's 75th birthday party and it was phenomenal. My dad loves beef dip sandwiches which can be really hard to find in the city but I was so happy when I remembered I had a really great beef dip here. We ordered platters of mini sandwiches and LSR packaged everything so nicely and even individually packaged jus for every beef dip.
